The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were comfortable, but a bit cold. The bathroom was big, but the shower was messy. Very close to restaurants, bars and trains. Breakfast was included with the stay.

We stayed here for a couple of days (4-6 Nov) and my experience was very good. We were surprised to find a personal note and a chocolate to welcome us to the Hotel and Helsinki. The room was nice and cozy with all basic amenities. The location itself is very good, near city center and close to bus/tram stops hence convenient. The staff was very helpful and guided me appropriately. Breakfast spread was excellent and food was yummy. Overall, our stay here was very very comfortable and i will highly recommended this hotel for a budget stay. Thank you team Original Sokos Albert Hotel. Cheers!! Rajesh Altekar

Very friendly welcome, good bedding and spacious room. Hotel a little old but comfortable. Decent breakfast. No noise, well located in relation to the city center. . .....................................................

Nice Hotel with a bit of old flair, and also very sustainable. The only small disadvantage I found was that obviously for security reasons they removed the latches from the windows, so you cannot let in fresh air on your own.

Staff is nice, but in no way is this a 4 star hotel. This is really at best a 2 star budget hotel. Quite shabby, rooms look like school dormitory rooms and the location is not really close to anything. If I had booked a 2 star sure, this would fit the bill...but not as a 4 star

Well run hotel only a few minutes from the city center. Tram stop is 1 block away, and then just a few minutes to the main attractions. Reception desk is professionally staffed and very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was excellent.

It was a lovely stay here! It is a spacious hotel in all areas. The common area, the dining area, the rooms...all were a good size. The lift is small tho, but that isn't a big deal.
The bathroom is the cleanest hotel bathroom I've ever experienced. I loved that! The whole room was clean. It is great that it is an economical aware hotel and does things like not washing the towels every day etc.
They had a hair dryer, iron and ironing board, mini fridge and safe.
It was very quiet and felt safe as you need to use your card to get even onto your floor from the stairs.
The breakfast was awesome and had a huge variety. They even had smoothie which was so great! Loved the breakfast. Very generous with their variety and yum taste.
Good tea selection too.
The location is very central and close to the centre.
There were some parking bays out the back for a fee.
Would definitely stay again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Original Sokos Hotel Albert! It has a unique, home-like atmosphere with a large sitting room and bar by the reception desk. The room was spacious and well-equipped, and we appreciated the hotel's focus on being eco-friendly. The breakfast included a wide range of options, including a delicious Finnish porridge. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of parks, restaurants, grocery stories, public transport, and Market Square. The hotel also has a sauna available downstairs for customers to use. All of these things made the Original Sokos Hotel Albert a great place to stay, but our visit was made especially memorable by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. In particular, Sonja provided information on activities we might enjoy, nearby restaurants, special Finnish treats, and other fascinating aspects of life in Helsinki. Sonja really enhanced our short stay in Finland, and we truly appreciated her attentive and professional service.
