Good location. It’s a fairly easy walk from the station - but it’s up a slight incline and it can be a little tiring dragging a suitcase over cobblestones and pavers on the way. It’s next to a big shopping centre with plenty of places to grab food or groceries - great build your own salad (also sushi) in the well stocked supermarket. Plus a bus station there too.
Great breakfasts in the hotel - lots of variety of hot and cold food - can try familiar and less familiar breakfast dishes!
I’m looking to book here again next time I’m in Helsinki.
Had a room at the third floor. Very hot room, no AC??
When turning of lightning for the night, the card for the electricity had to be taken out of the holder and inserted again if u wanted to turn the light back on. The minibar was not working aswell, it had room temperature. When we came back at the evening the corridor lights didn't work.
You can do better!
Perfect location just right outside of the hotel is a tram stop. It has a grand lobby with a nice overlooking of a Town Square which is good for People Watching. Room is clean and spacious. I was able to checkin early at 12pm.
My only complaint is the pillow. It’s too ‘bloated’ and not comfortable for sleeping. So I used the duvet of my other bed (being in a Twind Bed Room) as my pillow. The handwash container was empty. But the shower is nice. Strong waterflow.
