I booked a stay at Hotel Finn last minute as my flight was cancelled and I had an extra day in Helsinki. It was the perfect stay for one night. It’s in a great location in the heart of the city with many restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops nearby. I was able to walk with my heavy suitcase to the bus and train stations less than 10 minutes away.

I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of all the staff, including the receptionists and cleaners. My check in process was very smooth and quick, and I was also able to store my luggage in a locker for the day after I checked out.

The room was very clean and just what I needed for a short stay, but slightly small if you plan to stay longer. Overall enjoyed my stay at Hotel Finn.

Room was very basic. Bathroom very small. Had to shower with a toilet! Toiletries supposedly offered is just a scentless soap dispenser attached to the wall. Coffee and tea was not in the bedroom. Had to travel down 6 floors to get a drink if you wanted one. Only thing in the room was tap water.
The rooms are not sound proof. Could hear the people next door speaking, could hear their tv and music.
On the plus side, the receptionist was very nice. The location was perfect.

We stayed for several days in the Deluxe apartment, as we were traveling as a family. It was extremely clean (probably the cleanest rental/hotel we've ever been in), and included extras like a Nespresso machine, and plenty of dishes. It was very roomy, and easily held the 3 of us with room to spare. Wish we could have stayed longer!

I booked a twin and triple for my 3 kids (youngest 5), husband and sister for our Helsinki 3 nights stay.

Check-in is a nuisance. I got an email prior arrival instructing me to fill out check-in details for my family of 6. Upon arrival at the property at around 4 pm on April 2, we were greeted by a receptionist who seems to be in a hurry to get rid of us or just probably annoyed at her job. I gave her my confirmation number but instead of listening, she demanded for my name. The girl asked us to fill out again a form, pretty much repeating the whole check-in process. I told her we already did and said that she didn't know 'coz there might be delays in notification, but upon her checking she immediately saw the form I filled out and said I don't have to write my address to the form but for all others fields I should which is my name, date of birth and signature (a repetition of what they they have asked online). She then demanded and assumed that my sister should write everything because I'm the only one who did the check-in but she probably missed the part where we said WE already did the check-in process online. In short, don't waste your time checking-in online. It's a joke. I usually rate receptionist because they set my mood on how I view properties. The other staffs are better and welcoming though. Other than this incident, the place served it purpose for the duration of our stay. Excellent location but not really kid friendly as pubs are common around the area but is expected since we're in the city.

Standard 3* Hotel. No 24h reception. Small reception downstairs where you can get a coffee or some soft drinks. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful when there. Room was actually bigger than expected and ok. Bathroom little bit small and not really hooks for hanging towels. It’s more like a normal house with a few floors. Using elevator and then room card to open door to hallway to get to the rooms. There are also lockers for the suitcases if you wanna do sightseeing after checkout. No breakfast possible. But you get a small discount at 2-3 cafés close by.

Great location! So close to the train station, shops and attractions. It is in a very old building with a very small lift. Need to be careful walking up the street as it has a lot of ice. But we had a very pleasant night here. No breakfast though but pleantly of cafes around

It is normal hotel. Location is good, it is close to the center. The bathroom does not separate the shower and toilet. The room is quite cold because it is not enough heater. It is ok for one night to visit the city.

Quite central, but room very small and not well equipped. Shower very small. Bed is comfortable. Reception not 24 hours, self check in works well.
