A solid price–performance option in Rovaniemi. I stayed one night — booked through Booking.com — and the price varies depending on the date, but generally fair for the location. The rooms are small but clean and functional; some furniture feels a bit old, yet perfectly fine if you just need a comfortable place to sleep between Northern Lights tours. There’s no on-site reception, which is important to note — check-in is done at Santa’s Hotel Santa Claus, about a 12-minute walk away. While that’s a bit inconvenient, overall it’s a decent, budget-friendly choice for travelers who value simplicity and location over luxury.

The room was cool and dirty with cigarettes and peanuts, the bathroom was small and the water didn't go down the drain, and with heating they didn't work, it's neither recommended nor reliable

The position of the hotel is very good, it’s near the city center (10min walk ca.)
The room was tiny but okay if you’re a traveller who doesn’t care much about the accommodation
I left 3 stars because 2 sockets were not working, the room was clean when we arrived but that’s it, during our stay (3 night) no one touched our room for cleaning or at least changing the towels and the mugs we used
So overall the stay was good but me and my friend expected a bit more

We stayed here November 8, 2025.. we already knew that check in was at the main hotel, so went straight there and we checked in and they held our luggage as we went straight to Santa Village. The receptionist was very helpful.. when we picked up our luggage, we went to the Rudolph and it was different, but quaint and clean enough.. no problems and stores close by for something to eat.

The hotel is overpriced compared with what it offers
Check in is in another hotel which is like 700-800m from its, so u hop to the hotel, do not know what to do, then it may take u a while to figure out you have to walk down the road just for check in in the freezing cold of Rovaniemi. There is no staff here
What’s more, the room is tiny, very tiny, and it is just like a hostel. Nothing is provided except towels. Everything is old and ofc the bathroom smells. It’s a lie to say it’s a 3* hotel with this standard

It's a little far from the hotel where you check in, but considering the cheap price it wasn't too much of an issue, and once you're checked in it's pretty close to the center.

The location is also close to the city centre, but you have to check in at Santa hotel Claus and then walk another 10 minutes to the hotel, which is a bit inconvenient.
The hotel staff is very nice, they understand Cantonese, are attentive, and patiently explained nearby places and transportation. Finally, they also helped arrange a taxi to Rovaniemi railway station.

It's a bit of a walk from the check-in point, but it's a good hotel. Hotels around Rovaniemi are quite expensive, so I chose this hotel, but for those who don't mind walking a bit, I think the location is not too bad.

Room is clean, but the heater is still a little bit not enough. There is no reception, you have to walk around 10 mins to the counter which is inconvenient in winter
