Awesome location! Great views and friendly staff. Rooms were very accommodating. They have shutters you can close to help blockout light and sound as well as the curtains. Outstanding was the personal service of a German speaking service member, who was working in Alsace before and is born in Saarbrücken, Germany. He made the impossible possible and even, when me and my videographer came back late from shootings, he was very friendly and tried to give us an extra service. Really lovely hotel with a nice small pool area. Walking distance to everything you need. Large clean room and lovely shower. The only negative and this was an annoying thing for me, there is no full length mirror. The only mirror was in the bathroom which was frustrating. Stayed here for a week. 2nd year to stay in Cannes at this time of year. Mondial was just fabulous dead centre of Cannes and near the rail and bus stations. Breakfast was to die for a lovely lady called Patricia did the breakfast.

I stayed in this Hotel while attending Trusttech trade show. It was great and I liked it. It's a bit out of the rush, in quiet place. You can enjoy a nice rest after a long busy day. In all honesty I did not book a room here but Alan the night security guard helped me as I navigated a terrible airbnb situation. Having hospitality staff on hand at all hours is something that every traveler needs and I am so grateful to the help that they gave me, a place to charge my phone freshen up and WiFi to help my situation Alan is the best!

The hotel is in really nice place, but the interiors should be refreshed. They confirm to have 4* but being doesn’t State it. The most disturbing was the breakfast with groups. Hotel didn’t provide the space for other guests when the Group has arrived. So my colleague had to eat breakfast at her room, as there was not enough space. Usually in such cases there are two - three tabels for other guests...

Booked this hotel for a last minute getaway to Cannes. Really great location, 5-10 min walk from station, beach. Located amongst many good restaurants and other amenities. Although it was small, the room was cute, clean and comfortable. We didn't try breakfast but the spread looked like a typical continental style breakfast. Bedrooms were cleaned well and room amenities were functional.

When I got my room there was an unpleasant cigarette smell which is really not nice. In my previous stay, there was a strong mold smell. Other than that, it's in a good location close to train station and rooms are spacious. There's no iron in the room, you have to go to 6th floor for it. Also there's no hotel slippers or robe in the room.

Good value overall really, considering how expensive Cannes can be. You're a 10 minute walk to the center, 20 minutes to the beach. Customer service was great, and the executive room was very spacious and clean, with all the extra amenities expected. I was a fan of the reusable water bottles to reduce waste.

Old but nice service and clean rooms. Its located near the center and u can reach the sea in 10 min. The morning bufe is enough for breakfast. The internet could be faster. In generally a good experince and i will be glad to visit again it.

I must give out in public my true feelings about my stay in this hotel, we ware a group of 7 people traveling around Europe for the past 6 months, "Hotel Verlaine" was by far the best experience we had, "Hotel Verlaine" is number one in service, accommodating! Great boutique hotel. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and cozy. I love the white design with the faux fur throw and pillows. Franck, at the front desk, deserves a special mention because he was so super nice and helpful. We'll definitely stay here again.

What a wonderful stay at La Villa. The rooms are great value, and tucked just away from the main strip it’s a good location (three mins’ walk to the public beach). Most of all though, the staff are genuinely friendly and kind. I highly recommend this place.

The hotel is close to the train station and an easy walk to the centre, croisette and Palais. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My only issues were the following: there is no fan in the bathroom so the room completely fogs up after a shower. The only mirrors in the room are in the bathroom, so are unusable for a while until the moisture clears. There should be a full body mirror in the bedroom...

Nicely located hotel for a visit to Cannes. With a nice interior and nice rooms. Mostly friendly staff. Other guest can be a bit 'special'. Not a hotel for people who're looking for a quit stay. During COVID there was reduced cleaning schedule. For a 7 night stay our room was cleaned 3 times. Unacceptable to me but I guess this will change as soon as the pandemic is over.

Perfect location and there is hotel parking or private one next to hotel. There was no lot of choices for the breakfast, maybe because it’s not high season. Other then that we were satisfied.

Coming from Dubai, we normally have very high standards but honestly I was pleasantly surprised,  its a LOVELY property,  newly refurbished,  tastefully decorated,  immaculately clean,spotless bathroom,  lovely crispy bed lenin, I stayed at the Turquoise room that was perfectly adequate in size and has every necessity you need. A clean quiet hotel, with bright rooms, two steps away from the beach and the city center. If you are comfortable sleeping with the A/C on and the window closed, it is very quiet and you cannot hear the cafes at night. Very nice hotel managers as well.

Bassem has been of great help for us while we stayed at Victoria Hotel in Cannes. He has explained in detail what trains and buses to take in order to go to our next destination. I wouldn’t consider this a 4 star hotel, the location is right in the center of Cannes close to the beach if that’s what you’re looking for, can be a bit noisy at night. Things are a bit dated and broken in the rooms (wobbly toilet, fixtures, black in the shower) small rooms with street view, free breakfast though I opt to walk and get my own as it’s not great
