The whole hotel has a beautiful Art Deco style that gives it so much character, and you can feel the history of the place while still enjoying all the modern comforts. What really stood out, though, was the service

Everything is nearby and walkable. Private beach across the street that turns into a night club at night. Stayed here a week after the Cannes Film Festival in 2016, can't wait to go back!

My wife and I came here for 5 nights for a “babymoon” celebration, and could not have picked a better location! We were upgraded to a beautiful ocean-view suite with a walk-in closet, balcony and a huge bathroom with a whirlpool tub

We checked in late at night, and the next afternoon we were treated to a lovely welcome/celebration gift by room service. The concierge also helped us out several times finding activities and services in the nearby area

The only downside to the hotel was the lack of spa facilities, but the concierge is more than willing to direct you to a nearby spa that can fulfill any need you may have

What truly impressed me was how he went above and beyond and took the time to understand our preferences and tailored recommendations for dining, activities and shopping

We had an outstanding experience dining at the JW Marriott in Cannes. Not only is the setting exquisite, we had terrific service from Mustapha

There are luxury stores around, which is very convenient for shopping. There are also many dining options. The location, environment and service are all very good, and I am very satisfied with the stay experience

Even though we were given rooms with a view of the parking lot, they were very quiet. We travelers know that French stars don't shine much, but here they have made an effort to justify their 4 stars

The rooms are clean, the furniture is new, the linen is snow-white, the rooms have a coffee machine, there is a pleasant addition to coffee in the lobby - fresh pastries, the staff is very friendly and all issues are resolved quickly, the location of the hotel is very good, everything is within walking distance

Great hotel in downtown Cannes. Minutes away from beaches, on foot. Minutes away from the Gare (train station), on foot. In the middle of shopping and dining areas. Sunday morning market less than a block away

2nd year to stay in Cannes at this time of year. Mondial was just fabulous dead centre of Cannes and near the rail and bus stations. Breakfast was to die for a lovely lady called Patricia did the breakfast

It was also our first wedding anniversary, and Charlene and Valentin at reception went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming

Only negative during the whole stay was the usual 20 something large group taking sunset photos, getting the way and blocking the view from paying guests

The new Japanese restaurant called Shiso is also amazing. Could not fault any dishes or the wine. Finally the best thing is the staff. They are super helpful and organised everything

I must give out in public my true feelings about my stay in this hotel, we ware a group of 7 people traveling around Europe for the past 6 months, "Hotel Verlaine" was by far the best experience we had, "Hotel Verlaine" is number one in service, accommodating! And pleasing! the staff was very friendly! and helpful! in any forum and shape

The location of the shop is convenient, but the room is very small and the air conditioning is good! The breakfast 🥣 is also very good and delicious, the waiter 💁 is very good👍🈶️ gloves 🧤 in the restaurant 🍴… disinfecting alcohol hand rub, hot food, ham and cheese cake 🧁, sausage plus 🥚  … there is also watermelon 🍉  … fruit, tea 🍵, coffee! Old but nice service and clean rooms. Its located near the center and u can reach the sea in 10 min. The morning bufe is enough for breakfast. In generally a good experince and i will be glad to visit again it

There is also a great supermarket a stones throw from here ‘Casino’ I would recommend as it’s clean and has a great variety! If I was to return to Cannes, Hotel Verlaine would be the hotel I would be checking back in to!

This is a prime location in Cannes. Location is close to dining and lots of shopping. Maybe a 10-15 min walk from everything including the beach. This is a cute very small Hotel almost reminds you of a boutique

My only complaint was that there was not a life for luggage or if someone was in a wheelchair that I could see. Other than that the hotel met all Of our accommodation needs for our trip

Booked THE LAST ROOM in the walkable section during Cannes for well under 1k a night. Very helpful and friendly staff. Perfect location, the festival pavilions are a simple 5 min walk

The only issue with this hotel is that the room we stayed in was small

The breakfast (which we paid for) was worth it, the receptionists were lovely, and the place seemed totally brand new! It is 5 minutes away from the beach front by walking and you just pay 20 euros to get on to the private beach for the whole day and it makes things pleasant for those who just wish to rest on the beach

We stayed with my sister this Saturday, it was one of the best hotels I’ve seen. The room had an amazing view to the city and sea and was big and clean

The breakfast they offer for a reasonable price is traditional French with crusty bread, sweet bread, croissants, fresh fruit, jam, butter, ham, cheese, orange, coffee, and a selection teas

Easy walk to the main streets for shopping, to the pedestrian areas for cafés and restaurants. The rooms are Hollywood themed and very cozy

This is a family run hotel close to the rue d antibes. The rooms are very clean but quite simple. Bathrooms are new. The family are excellent and could not be more helpful.

Excellent small hotel in a quiet area that is within 15 minutes walking from the train station, 10 minutes to nice and relatively inexpensive restaurants & shopping areas on rue Hoche and another ten minutes from there to the Promenade

This has to be the best hotel in the area. Close to beaches, shops, markets and restaurants. Above all the owners and their staff are all fabulous! Professional, helpful, kind and fun. A real home from home atmosphere

Jared and Julie, the owners, were so welcoming—they had a parking spot ready for us within five minutes (even though they didn’t know we had a car!) and let us check in early around noon, which was amazing after a long flight and drive

I absolutely love this hotel. It’s reasonably priced, perfect location, & very sweet & friendly staff. The terrace from my room was so beautiful-it was hard to leave my room because I could just enjoy that space.

Every night at 7 PM, they offered a complimentary glass of wine from Jared’s family vineyard, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. The room had great AC, plenty of storage, and was super comfortable

Small hotel with good breakfast

A great centrally located place to rest and stay. The new owner continues the well run hotel and I believe it will turn out even better. Great value for money!

Location wise it is very central which is which great as it’s a 5-10 min walk to the Croisette. However the immediate surroundings leave a little to be desired as it’s by a main overpass, next to the train station

Room size is fair perhaps a little small, and our room looked out towards the neighbours balconies which meant you had to have the curtains drawn to prevent them looking in

You can hear people in adjoining rooms/in main passage way when they come and go. The rooms are also serviced daily. The host is very friendly, welcoming and helpful

It was good lokated, close center but not too close. Next to the old city and many good restaurants and near to the beach. Very helpful and kind owners and stuff. A small pool outsid and quiet rooms

We stayed in the apartment that the hotel owns which is housed in the block of flats just across the road from the hotel. One good sofa bed, two single beds made up into a king size bed

Helpful with trying to use the computer - we made our next booking online. The room was just big enough, clean, and the bed was comfy. Breakfast was 12 euros each, extra beyond the room charge
