The location was really great and the room was okay. However, the radiator didn't work, so I had to call the front desk every time, which was very inconvenient. The lighting in the room and bathroom was too dark. The breakfast was very ordinary, but expensive. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't go back. The staff was so-so, and it didn't meet my expectations for a 4-star hotel.

We had an excellent stay at Grands Montets. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view. The pool and hot tub were so relaxing. The only issue we had was that during the summer, it's a decent walk from the hotel into Argentiere to get dinner, etc. and it's through a large parking lot / trailer park.

My family of five had the pleasure to travel to les Chalets Grands Montets twice. To be clear, these are the three cottages you can rent; not the bigger hotel that is nearby. We stayed both times at le chalet de Paul. Three bedrooms, two full baths, one extra bathroom, a garage, a fireplace, a sauna, full kitchen, laundry room; the set up is great. Les Chalets Grands Montets was a wonderful stay. The location is superb, literally 2 minute walk to the lifts, 10 minutes to the main street. The Chalet itself was absolutely lovely, well furnished, extremely homely and comfortable and the staff was extremely helpful. Once again, wonderful chalet, wonderful holiday.

Visited friends who had rented. An eclectic experience. Most very attractive alpine with good amenities. Pasted on top like an excresence bricks and ironwork that looked at though lifted from a one star restaurant in Andalusia. Whoever came up with that horror?

Stayed for 6 nights, with only one cleaning service. The good thing is that the two-bedroom apartment is relatively large, with a nice view. You can see the snow-capped mountains as soon as you open the door.

This is a beautiful condo/hotel. Our room had a private view of Mont Blanc and we could watch the weather on the peak as it unfolded. The site is convenient to the center city. We stayed 8 days and never moved the car from it's secure covered parking spot

Our stay here was one of the highlights of our trip. We loved the room and the view from it was incredible. The staff was wonderfully attentive and all our needs were met. It was great to be able to walk to everything, and the included parking helped greatly. We had to communicate before our trip due to some payment issues and couldn’t have had a better experience.

Wonderful view with a large apartment, old looking decor but perfect for a mountain chalet feeling

It is right next to a wide plateau where kids can run and play. Not far from the town area where you can buy and eat. 10-15 mins to the train station (Mer de Glace) and Gondola place to Aiguille du Midi. Staffs were VERY kind. Enjoyed our stay here. Free parking available.

We stayed at this lovely hotel in Chamonix at the beginning of September, in room 205 this time. The first time was last year! We highly recommend places like this if you’re looking for authenticity. Really nice hotel in the heart of Chamonix centre. Nice interior design in the room we lived in and apparently PERFECT noice isolation, because we were not once disturbed by the best after ski Chamonix has to offer just two floors below our window. The personnel was greasy and offered first class service and the food was magnificent.

Stayed at this gem of a hotel, not far from the main train station and 10 min walk to the bus terminal. A very good location, shops and restaurants are a plenty. The hotel is quite ok and we had a fairly big room, bed was comfy, decor was ok, bathroom a little antiquated, breakfast was ok but the dining room was dimly lit.

I recently stayed in the Langley Hotel Gustavia when visiting Chamonix. My room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the service and food was very good. I would definitely consider staying here again at this hotel.

The location is great. The staff are friendly but their local knowledge & advice is weak. The hotel appears to have recently been refurbished as it smells a little of paint & all the furnishings appear new. However, the refurbishment, furniture & design is simply not fit for purpose. It was the perfect couple stay. The hotel is not in the city centre, it’s just next to the gold club. The view is amazing. The room have chalet vibes which was soo nice and cozy. They had a spa and sauna which was free to use for guests and it was soo nice. I can’t stress enough on the beauty of the view. Would 100 recommend and go back.

This was a very pleasant stay. The hotel’s decor is very comfortable and beautiful. The balcony faces the mountains. The location is also extremely convenient. Authentic Chamonix Hotel! This hotel feels like home in a mountain town and is rich in Chamonix history. I stayed here with my girlfriend in March 2024 on a ski trip. It is perfectly located to catch the bus to ski, walk the streets of Chamonix after a day on the slopes and walking distance to some of the best restaurants in Cham. Great hospitality from our host Anthony, an incredibly warmhearted person who will do just about anything to make you feel at home, comfortable and at relaxed. We were provided with clean and helpful information and even supported from far, while on our TMB trip. This place needs some urgent renovation. I stayed 2 nights and I’m in love it’s so beautiful it’s an amazing 3 star hotel. Lots of wardrobe space, no fridge but I put my water in the balcony 😂 ❄️ They lady offered to get me a kettle and they have hot water on the bar in the evening if you want to make a drink. The beautiful tea room is a nice place to have a tea coffee cake 🍰

This is a lovely family run hotel with a heated pool, amazing views, and great breakfast and cafe. Perfect location. We loved the two room family suites. The front desk and cafe staff were always friendly and spoke English well. I can’t recommend enough!

It was a much narrower space than I thought. The window was right above the bed, so when I opened the window, a dried, twisted spider fell out and I was surprised. The bathroom was also spacious, and it was a perfect hotel for a one or two-day stay.

The room is very clean, the heating is sufficient, the boss has a very good service attitude and has a very cute puppy. The hotel's balcony has a nice view, the bathroom is clean and large, and there is a small bottle of mineral water prepared in the room. Overall, it is highly recommended. My son and I stayed here for a weekend of skiing in February. It is a very comfortable and pleasant hotel with excellent service, very nice rooms, and a wonderful little spa. Friendly owners. Our room was quite small with little privacy as the one window/door to the outside faced the dining and common area in the garden where the children were playing. Our room was also quite hot with no way to cool it other than opening the door to the shared garden. Plenty of parking and a nice part of the world to visit.

We had a lovely one night stay here on our TMB journey. We had been out in the rain all day and our boots were soaked. The lovely girl at reception allowed us to use the ski boot warmer and by morning our boots were dry. Our room was spacious with a large balcony. Lovely villas, although owner was a too pushy and forward by walking into chalet when still under rental agreement asking what time we were leaving the following day, rather than abiding by the rental timings as per the contract.
