Maybe in the future they'll incorporate a safe in each room to leave important belongings in, at the meantime, you need to leave your keys to the reception everytime you go out, not that hassle because theirs always reception. As long as you dont leave anything of important inside for you to worry when you're out.
You can ask reception to keep your important belongings in their safe. Manon was the most hospitable receptionist during our stay, she always tend to us with a smile and was welcoming, she and David too, they always keep our laptop in a safe whenever we go out.
The woman of color was a bit too cold to be a receptionist. She didn't know where the safe was and just shoved our laptop in the cashier cabinet. Maybe she was new or just was misinformed and thats understandable, but working in this type of space, face to face with clients, one needs to be accomodating, attentive and atleast always with a smile.
Location was good in our opinion, Perrache Station was just a 3min walk. The hotel is right beside the Rhône lake, also a 3 min walk.
The rooms were clean and sufficient, a bit small, but perfect for short visit.
