Academie Hotel Saint Germain

Hotel Academie St Germain exceeded all expectations. The entire staff is friendly, warm, and attentive. The rooms are light, bright, beautifully decorated and immaculate. The bathroom has plenty of room for all of my things. The beds and linens are very comfortable. I didn’t take the breakfast buffet, but it was extensive. The coffee was wonderful.
I look forward to returning to Hotel Academie and recommending it to others.

Excellent value for a very well located boutique hotel.
3 nights in my favorite part of Paris. Wonderful service Rafi and his colleagues are very professional receptionists. Bars and restaurants of St Germain at 5 mn walking distance. Try the matcha or the white flat at Saint Pearl next door: amazing!

Beautiful small hotel! We enjoyed the comfortable beds, nice breakfast every morning, and friendly staff including Michel, Patricia, Rafiq, and Anna at breakfast. The location was close and walkable to Metro, restaurants, shops and Musée d’Orsay. The hotel is situated on a quieter street which is nice. Kids loved the free candy bowl. We will be back!

What a cute hotel! The service was exceptional, the breakfast was lovely and the rooms were clean and comfortable. As with most boutique hotels in Europe, the AC only works during certain times a year which can be a bit of a challenge for those used to sleeping with AC but opening the windows to the streets of Paris is always nice and the street noise was not bothersome. The location really could not be better for sightseeing, shopping and eating. A lovely, unpretentious but lively and upscale neighborhood. The hotel also offers a driving service to and from the airport which is very reasonably priced. The overall experience was high value!

Amazing hotel! Great service and beautiful rooms. Right in the center of Saint-German but tucked away so it’s quiet. Patricia was so friendly and helpful! She absolutely made our stay five stars!

Great location, one block away from Rue St Germain. Staff service is good, allowed early checkin after long flight. Room size is good, cleanliness top notch, bed is comfortable. Room facing inside. Room is very peaceful., noise free. Room temperature is controlled by front desk, not allowing your desired settings so room is sometimes hot, sometimes cold depending upon whether you keep window open or not. Bathtub setting is not practical and not safe when going in and out of tub. Breakfast option are ok, but expensive for the offer. Value for money paid is low.

Very good located smaller hotel. Room is not very large, and the bed is shorter with 1.90. But nice bathroom with spa bath which is a delight after a day with plenty of walking. Good breakfast, fresh juice and good coffee and many choices. Friendly breakfast staff. No street noise but other room noises we a bit more than we liked

We had an excellent 6 day stay at this boutique hotel and would definitely return the next time we’re in Paris. We particularly loved the neighborhood - very picturesque and conveniently located (trains, museums, restaurants, etc).

The small hotel has 1 small elevator but we never waited long. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The breakfast buffet was very nicely done: soft scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, excellent baguette and cheese, sliced meats, some pastries, fruit and yogurt, crepe and jam, and espresso machine for latte etc. Fresh pressed orange and grapefruit juice! And my husband especially appreciated the days they had donuts lol. The food was all just good (unlike the breakfast at our hotel in London, which was pitiful in comparison). Ours was included in our room, but otherwise I think it’s 19€ which kinda seems like a lot, but it was very good so idk. The woman who attended the breakfast each day was especially friendly and helpful.

This is an old hotel so the decor is a mix of « antique » and « outdated ». But it’s very clean.

The rooms are small but that’s Paris. The bathroom had a nice big counter and deep jacuzzi tub. Good water pressure. Nice tall windows with good light and blackout curtains. No « great views » other than across the street. Temperature control in the room (it’s December so I can’t comment on ac). Quiet at night even though we were on the street side. The bed was very comfortable. We had a « king » size which is 2 single beds pushed together and wrapped into 1 sheet lol. We didn’t notice until the 3rd night that it was 2 mattresses so I guess that’s good. It does mean that it’s a short bed (wide but short) but in general big beds are hard to find in Paris.

The main downside for me is that the WiFi was quite poor in the rooms. Even scrolling on my phone I frequently lost signal. It’s strong in the lobby so I could sit there and download things but it was a little touch and go in the rooms (likely due to the stone building).

Amazing in everyway-Patricia is a gem and should get paid double her salary as she goes above and beyond her duty in taking care of guests. In my case Patricia was kind and compassionate when I arrived on the doorstep looking for a room urgently as the hotel I had previously booked was less than satisfactory. I loved my two weeks stay at Academic the hotel was everything I could have asked for. I would 100% recommend Academic St Germain as a perfect spot to stay in Paris. 💖
