Hôtel Chaplain Rive Gauche

For sure this is a hidden gem on the Left Bank in Paris. From the moment we booked online until we checked out, the service was impeccable and we would go back in a heartbeat! We really enjoyed the location - not on a main street but rather a quiet side street within walking distance of many great restaurants, transit stops and lovely Luxembourg Gardens. We are walkers, so this was perfect for us. The hotel also arranged our transfer to the hotel after arriving in Paris from our transatlantic flight, which was very nice and convenient for us. Our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and lovely on each of our two mornings at the hotel. If you are looking for a quaint and charming hotel, this is the spot. The price point, including breakfast and all-day coffee/tea pastries in the lobby, was also very reasonable for Paris - around $350CAD per night. Note they are currently undergoing some renovations to freshen up the property, but assured us they wouldn’t be compromising the charm and quaintness of the hotel. We would stay here again for sure!

This hotel may not be a grand hotel, but it is full of character and close to everything, including transport. The staff, from the time we stepped into this hotel, were truly amazing and were incredibly helpful and so much fun to deal with on a daily basis. They took the time to give us tips for a true and authentic experience of Paris, everything from food to even teaching us French phrases to get around the local area. My husband and I fell in love with Paris and we believe a large part of this was because of the amazing staff that work within this hotel. Location perfect for tourist sightseeing inside the Paris central area. Metro and busses very near the hotel. Hotel personel nice and friendly, breakfast huge and tasty,
cofee in the lobby free 24 hours a day. What else? Well, internet could be faster, but you came to see Paris, not to scroll social media all day long.

Pleasant neighborhood hotel with small but clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was limited but very good.

Stayed here for a few days with my girlfriend, the hotel itself was lovely, clean and the rooms were comfortable! The staff were very friendly and made you feel very welcome. It's located in a very nice spot, with lots of restaurants, bars and access to the metro lines. Well worth a stay in Paris!

Excellent service, clean rooms, very friendly staff, very cute lobby with 24 seven snacks, coffee, hot chocolate. Wonderful location, or you can walk to many attractions and the metro. Next to several restaurants and a wonderful tiny wine bar.

A must stay hotel and location. Very friendly and helpful staff, great service and facilities. I will definitely return here.
