Hôtel Des Deux-Iles - Notre-Dame

My partner and I stayed for a delightful four nights! The hotel was decorated beautifully and the stuff were very friendly and helpful! The hotel was in a quiet and charming location with the benefit of being close to the Marais area.

Breakfast was a lovely experience and made us feel very at home with fresh baked goods and local teas. The complimentary cake/afternoon tea was certainly a highlight and gave us the opportunity to speak to other guests.

Would 100% recommend and stay again! A peaceful place in a bustling area of Paris!

1. Bed
• Comfort: Pretty comfortable bed and always like to see when the double bed is not two singles put together.
• Bedding Quality: Bedding material was great but the pillows were a bit too fluffy for my taste.
• Sleep Quality: room was very quiet!
• Extra Notes: The blinds in the room kept the light out in the morning making it easy to sleep in.

2. Bathroom
• Cleanliness: The bathroom was sparkling clean!
• Amenities: Shower cap, soap, shampoo, and lotion provided. These seemed of high quality. The towel was also one of those premium feeling towels.
• Shower/Bath: Water pressure and water temperature function perfectly, while the showerhead is adjustable for tall people.
• Space & Functionality: The bathroom was pretty spacious for a hotel at this pricepoint in Paris.
• Extra Notes: The towel warmer was a nice extra feature that also allowed me to dry some wet clothes from the rain!

3. Breakfast
• Variety: The breakfast spread was impressive. They serve you (it's not contintental) bread, croissant, orange juice, yogurt, fruit, hot drink of your choice, granola, eggs (cooked in the way you like).
• Quality: Food was very fresh! The organge juice was freshly squeezed and the rest of the ingredients they actually show you where they buy them (I think everything comes from Ile Saint-Louis, which is pretty cool).
• Dining Area: It's down in the basement but it's got the feeling of an old cellar and it's well lit.
• Service: Staff were very friendly and attentive.

4. Other Key Details
• Location: While it's cool to stay on an island in the middle of the river, it's a pretty sleepy area and the restaurants all seem pretty similar (lots of creperies)
• Service: Staff are all super helpful and multilingual.
• Value for Money: At just under 200 EUR per night, it's great value for money.

Final Thoughts
It's a great hotel in a quiet location. It feels new and sleek but with a vintage flair. I'd stay here again if looking for a calm location in Paris!

My teenage daughter and I stayed here summer of 2023 and it simply made our entire trip. The staff is superb, breakfast is delicious and delightful, the picnic basket is AMAZING!! and the hotel is charming, comfortable and well appointed. We can’t wait to go back.

Great little hotel in one of the few quiet areas of Paris - while still being close to all the attractions. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Rooms are small (not surprising) but well appointed and quiet.

Lovely boutique hotel on a quiet street on a small island in the heart of Paris. Plenty of cozy restaurants and eclectic stores a few steps from the front door. Estelle and Nacho took good care to attend to our needs. Cute lounge with complementary coffee (excellent) and hot tea and cake every afternoon. Simple breakfast available to set you up for a day of exploring the city. Bedrooms are small as to be expected in this location but with beautiful exposed beams and tastefully decorated. The shower took a little getting used too as it had a high level of aeration and was not easy to direct. All areas of the hotel were clean and tidy and beds were comfortable.

We had a lovely time staying here and overall had great service and the rooms were very nice. Winnie at reception was very kind and helpful.

PARIS 2024 OLYMPICS Walk out the door and West, to a locus point for a tourist... a bridge to Notre Dame and then Sainte-Chapelle. Continue over the bridge to the Louve. Continue to the Arc dT.
You earned a macaroon at Laduree. Head Northeast to refresh with a cocktail at the historic invention site of the Bloody Mary and French 75: Harry's New York Bar (upstairs) only if you've ever been a barfly at an old mans bar... downstairs for some jazz at night. What's to eat? Up to you after you have a delish
hotdog!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay here mid-April. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. Our room was beyond charming, although very tight. We loved breakfast every morning, my husband is gluten free and lactose free and they had special bread for him. The bed was super comfortable and the location great for walking, biking or taking the metro anywhere. It could get a little loud outside at night, but not bad at all. Great hotel for sure!

Quintessential Paris experience in this small and luxurious boutique hotel. We loved our room with exposed beams lovely wallpaper cozy beds spacious bathroom and courtyard view (quiet!) we had quiet neighbouring rooms for our night I slept like a baby and my daughter too. Lovely friendly welcome at the front desk. We loved it our stay will be back.
