ibis budget Porte D'Orleans Mini-hotel

We’re pleasantly surprised by the hotel. There are some controversial reviews on booking but we had a great experience.
Rooms are very clean and the cleaning service was provided every day. Although one day we put “not disturb” label but upon arrival found that the room was cleaned anyways. So make sure to keep your valuables safe.
Workers at reception were very kind and provided all needed information. We were able to check in after midnight and check out at night without any problems.
Location is also good, 20-30 minutes to the center, area was quite and peaceful, didn’t face any issues as young females there. There are metro station, bus stops in 5-9 minutes of walking. Good shops nearby as well.
You can fill your bottle with water for free in the hotel, all towels and soap,shower gel are provided. Toilet is a bit small but not catastrophic if you are staying for 2-3 nights.
Very good hotel for this price in Paris.

It was a truly pleasant experience staying at hotel with my family. The staff was courteous and rooms were clean and comfortable, and the overall ambiance was warm and welcoming. Thank you for making our visit memorable — we look forward to returning in the future

Value for money is definitely a plus. The room is tiny, with no storage space, but during a 4-day stay, we easily unpacked our things onto the windowsill and table. Check-in was quick, and there’s a free luggage storage option after check-out. The location is excellent—just a few hundred meters to the metro station, which can take you anywhere. Breakfast is modest but completely sufficient. You can make your own eggs—scrambled, fried, or boiled. There are several coffee machines and juice dispensers, so there are no queues.

The interior design is cohesive and vibrant. The toilet is separate, but the sink and shower are in the room, only separated from the bed by a curtain. We had no issue with this, but it might bother some people. We were very surprised, but as I said—it didn’t bother us. However, we really missed vegetables at breakfast—at least tomatoes and cucumbers. :(

The room has a fan/air conditioning with a dial, but we unfortunately couldn’t figure out how to increase the temperature—no matter the setting, cold air came out. Of course, we could have asked at reception, but it wasn’t something we couldn’t live without. The room size might feel a bit overwhelming, but the photos and description are accurate, so we were aware of this when booking. Overall, I recommend it! :)

The hotel was great for the price we paid.
Staff (reception, house keeping, bar) was super friendly, they helped us with information and just genuinely nice people.
The room was basic, some small towels would have been great. The room was cleaned daily.
Beds comfortable and quite room.

Very decent hotel for the price (considering hotel in prices aren’t exactly pocket friendly). The staff are nice and the breakfast is nice.
Value for money.

Very nice localisation, metro, bakery and stores nearby. New beds, friendly staff, very clean rooms. Minuses: weird shower experience - hand shower attached at an impossible angle (very tall person can wash their face). And who thought that installing shelves few centimetres from a bunk bed stairs is a good idea? :D
