For the price this is a great hotel, clean and spacious rooms with a fridge inside. Large bed and comfy enough.
There is an open access fridge in the lobby stocked with drinks that you can help yourself too and a chain of hotels across the city that offer you the same.
Staff were friendly enough, there were no problems with our stay for me to test them with.
Perfectly located to get everywhere you want to go, and still be part of the hustle and bustle but not so much it's too loud on a night.
I'd deffo go back

An exceptional find that we stumbled upon during our trip to Paris! We chose this hotel over a few nearby hostels, and it turned out to be the perfect decision. The location is ideal, making it easy to explore the city. I’m especially grateful that they held our luggage both at the beginning and end of our stay, which made our travels so much easier. We were also pleasantly surprised by the complimentary mini bar stocked with soda, water, and orange juice—a nice touch that added to our overall experience. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort and convenience in Paris!

Hotel Lorette Astotel has an amazing location in the 9th arr., just a stone's throw away from the Saint Georges metro station that's connected to other landmarks (or can be transferred from) across Paris. The area where the hotel is located is also chock full of restaurants, cafes, and small mom and pop shops where you can do local shopping (though many of these retail stores are only open around 1PM-6PM depending on the day). You won't be found wanting for options on where to eat, have breakfast, etc., since the breakfast buffet at the hotel is pretty simple (more cold options than hot food, lots of cheeses and cold cuts and bread if that is more to your taste.) The concierge at any given time was friendly and catered to our needs as they arose, including keeping our luggage in holding while the rooms were getting ready upon check-in.
We had a minor bathroom problem though, where the water would leak like crazy from the shower (the partition between the tub and the rest of the bathroom was a little loose at the corner, so water would spray out even if it was closed) but it didn't take away too much from the comfort of the room itself. Housekeeping was prompt, tidy, and the best part is that the mini-bar/fridge items were free of charge and could be replenished when your room was fixed up in the morning. Another problem in our room was the phone didn't seem to work as well, though it was strange considering the lobby could call us but we couldn't do the same.
Overall, our family of 7 were satisfied with the service and cleanliness of the hotel, and honestly the location cannot be beat when it came down to convenience, especially as we navigated Paris during the Olympics.

We stayed here twice, 3 days at a time. Loved the location (30 seconds from Metro station), loved the bakeries and restaurants surrounding it, and loved the morning breakfast!

**Astotel - Lorette: A Nightmare Stay - Beware of Rats and Theft!**
I am writing to warn future guests about the appalling experience my parents had during their recent stay at Astotel - Lorette.
First and foremost, my parents encountered multiple rats (5-7 at different times) in the hallways of the hotel. This wasn't a one-time sighting but a recurring and deeply distressing issue. The presence of such a significant m problem is both shocking and unacceptable, raising serious concerns about the hotel's hygiene and safety standards. The worst is that when when they told the reception the answer was that the ownership was aware but not willing to do nothing, because there is a building under construction nearby, so hey, you’re in Paris you need to expect to see rats (not a joke).
As if this weren't bad enough, they also had a newly purchased pair of shoes stolen from their room. This indicates a glaring lack of security and trust within the hotel premises.
When they reported these issues, the hotel's response was grossly inadequate. Astotel - Lorette offered to reimburse only half of one night’s stay—a sum that didn’t even cover the value of the stolen shoes, let alone compensate for the severe discomfort and distress caused by the rats by sightings. No further effort was made to address the situation or provide appropriate compensation.
To anyone considering staying here, think twice. The combination of poor pest control, insecurity, and unresponsive customer service makes this hotel a terrible choice. There are plenty of other accommodations in Paris that can offer a safer and more reliable experience.
Avoid Astotel - Lorette if you value your peace of mind and personal belongings.

I wish I had read the review from two days ago. Hair all over the bed when I walked in. On the bedspread, on the pillows, on the sheets. I went down to ask them to replace the sheets and have now been waiting about an hour for that to happen. Unsanitary and gross. A million nice hotels in this area—stay elsewhere.

Rooms are small and elevator is slowest on earth but other than that it is great. Location, breakfast, free mini bar drinks. Free snacks. Great staff.

Great Hotel in a great area!
Drinks in the fridge are free and the people at the desk are so kind and available. Ready to help us with anything and offer us even more than what we need/ask! Only one of them wasn't very nice and kept looking badly at us and other customers, but it was only one of them so the general feeling of the service doesn't change.
Only real negative is that the pillows were tiny, but for the rest it was all a very nice experience!

Stayed at Lorette-Astotel from March 24th to March 30th which was very pleasant. To begin with, what I liked about the hotel was its atmosphere which was very homelike. I was provided with a child bed in our room which my daughter liked a lot and slept in from the second night, giving us more room in the bed :) The location of the hotel is great, a metro station is a few steps away, there are restaurants and cafes all around, Moulin rouge is a 5-minute walk away and sacre-coeur is like a 20-minute walk. In the lobby, there's an area providing the guests with free refreshments including chips, nuts, cakes, biscuits, tea, instant coffee, and a fridge with water, apple and orange juice, which was very nice when you return from a long day in Paris. Though there was a Nespresso machine that was removed on the second day of our stay, I guess because there were many guest staying during the Easter holidays and too many Nespresso capsules would be used ;) The breakfast was the same every day, not varied, but OK. Only problems were the floor was squeaky, the elevator was a bit old and slow, otherwise everything else was great.

The hotel has an excellent location close to the city center and public transport stops. The reception staff were always very kind. The café bar always had a wide selection of coffees, teas, and sweet pastries. A plus is that you can use these café bars for free in any hotel from this franchise in Paris, as long as you are staying in one of them. The room was smaller and clean. The bed comfortable. The walls are a bit thinner so sometimes you can hear the happenings in the hotel. One of the downsides is precisely that excellent location near the metro. You can hear and feel it passing by in the room every so often. For someone who has trouble sleeping in a noisier environment, this might be uncomfortable. The price per night for the room is excellent, so if you're looking for more affordable accommodation and don't mind a little noise, this hotel is a good choice.
