We stayed here for a couple of nights last week. On the plus side, the location was great for access to the Louvre, no complaints. The room seemed clean. I've seen other reviews mentioning the small rooms, and I have to agree with those, we were pretty pressed for space.
Now for the weirdness...the room seemed...unfinished? The faucet on the sink was so loosely mounted, I had to reach under and hand-tighten the nut so the faucet could be used without literally flopping around.
There were no hand soaps in either side of the bathroom, but there were 4 shoeshine kits stacked next to the sink.
When I tried to call down to the front desk to ask to use an iron and ironing board, I found that not only was the room phone not plugged in, but there didn't seem to be a phone outlet in the room at all. When I mentioned this to the woman at the front desk, she just shrugged, like it wasn't strange to have a completely unusable room phone.
And I wasn't allowed to take the iron to the room for "security reasons" and so had to iron my shirt in the hallway next to the elevator...It's possible that Paris has a problem with serial iron thieves I guess, but it just seemed odd.
Overall not a bad stay, just be prepared for some weird policies and having to walk down to the front desk if you need anything.

Hello,

I just tried to contact the hotel several times and didn’t receive any response. Several emails and NO answer! Due to sickness I had to cancel my business trip. They are not customer oriented and not willing to place a credit note or find any solutions. As I didn’t receive a respond till now, I just changed the dates, to a random date, so I don’t loose my money.
This never happened to me with other hotels. Not responding is rude!!!!

The location of the hotel was perfect as far as being extremely close to the Louvre, shops, cafes and the metro station.

The hotel was clean and stocked daily with teas, toiletries, clean towels, etc. we found our room to be extremely small and difficult to maneuver around the bed and the bathroom was very tight. The hotel room was located on the 1st floor (one up from the main level) and overlooked the active and bustling street. It was sweet how the windows opened up completely and had almost a little Juliet balcony so we could overlook the street and people-watch while enjoying some wine.

We had one issue one morning where our toilet would not stop running and pouring water (kept draining thankfully so no overflow). We mentioned to the hotel lobby attendant before leaving for the Louvre, came back and it was still running. Mentioned this issue again and someone immediately went up and fixed it right away.

The hotel lobby staff were kind and helpful when needed. The breakfast which was included in our price was perfectly fine for what it was. It was simple and basic, including French style scrambled eggs which I adore, ham/bacon, croissants, breads, butters, cereal, tea, coffee and juice.

We would stay here again but seek out a larger room next time.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY! NOT WORTH IT!! The furniture and room was sub par. We asked for sheets and they totally ignored us. Sheets!!! I had to ask numerous times until they handed it to me so I make my own bed. The front desk the older generation was incredibly rude. I have a health condition I can’t have be in a muggy or humid environment too long and I asked for the AC to be put a bit lower and they ignored me completely. I was unable to sleep the 3 nights we were there so my trip to Paris ruined by them. I asked more than once and they said they would but never did. When I asked again the man at the front desk gave me an attitude. The phone was broken. There was someone upstairs moving furniture around all night and one screaming I. The room next to us. It was by far the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. I would not recommend it. Even for the location. Go someplace else. They will treat you better.

We had poor night's sleep all three nights. There were many loud noises that woke us up. The room was hot and muggy. Our request for a top sheet on the bed was ignored. There was no way to contact the front desk because the phone in the room was broken.

I stayed here for 2 nights during the olympics and had a great stay, the room was large, clean, had air con and everything I needed. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic a short walk from a couple of metro stations and an RER station. Really close to the Louvre and has loads of restaurants and cafes close by.

This place is walking distance from the Louvre, which is great! There’s also plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. The staff was friendly. The room itself we did not love. It was just very small, particularly the bathroom. One person could barely fit in the shower- my husband is 6-ft and not small and he really struggled in the shower. I am 5-ft and also struggled. Also there were no washcloths and the towels were awkwardly placed making it hard to grab when you need them.

Timhotel le Louvre is a great hotel for families. It is centrally located, only a few hundred metres from the Louvre, the Seine River and other important landmarks. The hotel is only steps away from many cafes, restaurants and bakeries. The rooms are clean and spacious and the bathrooms are well-equipped and modern.

The rooms are for mignons. If you are over 1.80cm. , it is very hard to fit to the toilettes , the bed and the room. The climatisation was terrible. I couldn't decrease the temperature of the room and i tried to sleep in like a sauna room. I couldnt get a bill for my company also. I don't understand. The only good thing was the location of the hotel.
Never again.

The size of the room is okay, with air conditioning, TV, small coffee table, and hot water kettle
Pros: The bed is very soft and comfortable, the carpet is very comfortable, the bathroom is very clean, the front desk is very welcoming and staffed 24 hours a day
Disadvantages: There are no disposable slippers, the socket is far from the bed, and the phone cannot be reached for charging at night
It's a 5-minute walk to Charlet RER or a 1-minute walk to the subway. The Louvre is 10 minutes across and the Orsay Museum is 15 minutes across the river. It's very convenient.
There are Paris maps, RER maps and subway maps in the room, which are very useful for tourists. There are also coffee and tea bags on the coffee table, so you can have a drink before going out.
