Hotel Restaurant Au Cerf d'Or

Great hotel at ideal location! So charming, with wood beams inside our room, a very friendly staff, and an excellent restaurant at street level - what more can you ask for?
How yeah, do not miss the historic Caves just next to the hotel, countaining the oldest white wine in the world!

It was a very nice and memorable experience to stay there we enjoyed the breakfast. It was near to points of interest. They were very attentive and friendly. Thank you for your service and hospitality 💕

For this hotel, you won't be paying for comfort. Room, bathroom, & shower is very small for the price. It's a good location that is not as expensive as hotels that are closer to tourist attractions. Still within walking distance from the city center and Christmas markets. The room was clean, and the hotel staff were great

It is very close to the center. The hotel is small but you have everything you need. The service is a bit slow, but people are friendly and helpful. There is only one elevator and you have to wait a lot. The wifi was not functioning well. (they said because of the walls). They have a restaurant with very generous portions and Alsacien cuisine. The food is very delicious. Waiters are very helpful.

FIrst, let me say this hotel is in a great location, is in a quieter area, and the hotel staff were fantastic. Pretty much anything you want to go do is a short walk away. Now for the downsides...everything is extra. Spa, breakfast, and parking will all cost you more money. The hammam was honestly the only thing worth using in the entire spa. It cost twenty euro for an hour, btw. The infrared dry sauna was barely hot, the jacuzzi tub was barely lukewarm, and the pool was nice but incredibly small. Speaking of small...the rooms are just that, but they are clean and quiet. The breakfast is typical cold breakfast, you could easily find better for likely the same price elsewhere, to be honest, but it is convenient if you just want something quick. The location, cleanliness, and staff are the selling points of this hotel, and it does that well. You can decide if the rest is a make or break for you.

During our stay at this Hotel, We enjoyed a wonderful night sleep on their comfortable bed. The hotel convenient location near tourist attractions was a definite highlight. 👍🏻🙂

This restaurant is faithful to traditional Alsatian cuisine in the most respectful way. I really enjoyed the dishes prepared by the chef and the service was very friendly. The restaurant is full of history and charm and I will be back very soon. I also had breakfast there but found it lacking in variety. The cheese selection was great though! Also their hamam, infra red sauna and hot tub were great and clean. The people who worked there were really polite and made an exception for me and extended my stay in the spa beyond closing time. Merci!
