Achtis Hotel

Have been coming to this hotel since 2015. It is an amazing hotel, with boutique rooms, all slightly different decor, but decorated to a high standard. The rooms are very clean and well maintained, and all the staff are very friendly and attentive and will go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. The food is delicious, and the breakfast is one of the best we have ever had, the chefs are brilliant. The grounds are like a little oasis, and the peacocks, ducks and fish add to the entertainment. When we go, most of the other guests are people who have stayed before too, it is the type of hotel you will want to go back to time and time again. It’s our favourite place in Greece - the best we have stayed in. You will get a 5 star experience in a smaller boutique hotel with some of the friendliest and best staff we have ever come across in a hotel - we love it here and will be back next year!

We have just come back from spending 2 weeks at this wonderful hotel and have already booked to return next year! Everything about the hotel is special from the rooms, the amazing pool and garden (including peacocks!) and the restaurant. The food is excellent and we had 3 evening meals in the restaurant. Special mention to the staff though, everyone is super friendly and they can't do enough for you. Can't wait to go back!

We've just returned from a fantastic 11 night trip at Achtis. From the moment we entered until the minute we left the service was first class. Welcome drink and cake on arrival. The most luxurious room we have stayed in whilst visiting Greece. Every single member of staff is a credit. Nothing is any trouble to them at all. Room cleaned and beds and towels changed everyday. Superb pool area with padded sinbeds. Excellent breakfast choices on an daily basis which was fantastic. We ate in the restaurant a number of times with excellent food and daily specials. All this just a 5 minute walk to the lovely village. I could go on and on but just go and see for yourselves how good it is.

Lovely hotel, very homely and staff are very friendly! A little oasis tucked away in a very private location, the town was a very short walk away. Beach not very accessible, great for a relaxing holiday but not much to do around if you’re looking for more of an adventure get away!

Due to the incompetency of love holidays, our holiday to this hotel has been cancelled. We were so looking forward to experiencing this place as it looks fabulous and the reviews confirm that.
What I can say, is that during my terrible experience with love holidays, the team at Achtis were extremely helpful and professional. They communicated regularly with me with updates and I am very greatful for that.
We will get here soon. Can't wait to experience it for ourselves.

On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the amazing manager, Lilia, whose hospitality set the tone for our entire stay. Her warmth and professionalism were evident from the moment we arrived. She made us feel welcome and attended to every need with remarkable efficiency.

The hotel's ambiance is simply beautiful, with well-maintained grounds and a stunning swimming pool that provided a perfect spot for relaxation.

The restaurant at Achtis is a culinary delight. We were consistently impressed by the delicious food, which was always fresh and flavorful.The restaurant staff also deserve high praise. Christina and Kristina, along with the other ladies assisting in the restaurant, were exemplary in their roles. Their friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and commitment to providing excellent service made each meal a delightful experience. The food was consistently delicious, and their efforts significantly contributed to our overall enjoyment. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful dining experience.

Overall, Hotel Achtis offers a perfect blend of comfort, luxury, and personalized service. Whether you're lounging by the pool or enjoying a meal, every moment here is truly special.

Truly one of the best hotels I have been to, the service is outstanding, the staff are friendly and the breakfast is excellent. Could not recommend more.

We traveled to Afytos by choice, we stayed in Achtis by chance. Shortly before our trip to Greece last year in May it said the (originally booked) hotel was overbooked, we had to change our plans. After some research, we (luckily) discovered Hotel Achtis and decided to go for it. It couldn't have been better for us, staying at Achtis was an absolute blessing!

It is nothing more but a hidden oasis on the edge of Afytos (while being located directly on a country road). You get a little irritated, at least that's how we felt when we were let out of the transfer in front of the hotel. But when you enter the hotel grounds, everything changes abruptly. A wonderful small complex that offers everything you need for a relaxing vacation in the sun. Including nice drinks, a very good breakfast, snacks and dinner! An incredibly friendly, courteous team who made our stay something special. We felt as if we had come there years before and would be well-known guests already. A big and special thank you to Kristina, Julie, Androniki and Kerstin.

We will be back this year and will be bringing friends and family with us. We are looking forward to it so much! Highly recommended *****

An idyllic and peaceful hotel. If you want a truly relaxing hotel this is it. The staff go beyond to be helpful and really friendly especially Christina who is excellent at making you feel welcome extremely funny yet always professional. Even the cleaners were lovely. There are many returning guests and you can see why. It's a very relaxing atmosphere where you can relax in the many private areas around the garden with plenty of sunbeds, there is a big pond with many fish you can feed on a pretty white bridge, there are also peacocks that roam around the hotel which are really funny not a problem at all ,rather entertaining. The hotel is kept very well maintained, the pool is lovely and kept spotlessly clean. We chose bed and breakfast but if i went back id choose half board as the food which I'm really fussy with was absolutely lovely. The most I've ever ate in a hotel. There are many restaurants in the village but I have to say the nicest food was at the Hotel. 5 stars. Outside the hotel within a few minutes walk you have the lovely little village where you will find many restaurants gift shops ,supermarket etc. Its a very pretty little village with a lovely atmosphere. There are restaurants overlooking the sea in a beautiful setting From the village is the beach which I think people should be aware of, if you have any mobility issues it's very difficult to reach. Far too steep and too many steps. There is another beach however that is in the next village which only costs 7 euros to get to with instant access to the beach. Ask Christina she will give you all the advice you need. Also be aware a lot of accommodation/ hotels etc have nothing going on around them at all no shops or village , unlike the Achtis hotel which you have most of everything you need on your doorstep. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will return at some point which I would never normally do . If you want a relaxing lovely hotel this is the one for you.

This hotel is highly recommended. You can linger in an idyllic garden or hang out around the pool. Personally, I often stayed in the back of the garden. It was nice and quiet there and the splashing of the large and pet-friendly pond was relaxing. I slept extremely well in the lovingly designed and bright room. The staff was always very friendly and attentive. Only a short walk to the village. Will gladly come again.
