Achtis Boutique Hotel in Afitos

Achtis hotel is a beautiful and peaceful resort very suited to couples. I came alone for some rest and relaxation and it was absolutely perfect. There are outside lounges where you can have a drink or snuggle with a book. The hotel has 35 rooms I believe and plenty of sun loungers, sofas and cosy nooks to relax. My room was clean and very pretty. The staff are absolutely wonderful, warm and friendly and they really do their best to make everybody feel at home. The breakfast changed every day and it was always very nice. I wouldn't hesitate to return in future.

On arrival we could tell this was a special place. Once inside the gate you step into a wonderful serene oasis of calm and tranquility. We received a very warm welcome and the best check in experience we have ever had from Lilia. Her attention to detail and personal touch was second to none ! It was our 20th anniversary and we were upgraded for the first night to a suite which was amazing! Breakfast every day was delightful as was dinner in the lovely restaurant . We loved all the gardens with the fish and excellent gardens and pool. The peacocks are a novelty and live amongst the guests quite happily. We loved the bar area for pool time snacks and drinks. We have just returned from our ten nights stay at the Achtis. We used to stay at the Achtis regularly, but due to covid and family commitments we have not been back for 8 years. And when you think how many guests stay at this hotel every season, and when you walk through the door and they are there to greet you with open arms, that really says a lot. From what we read about the changes they had made, we thought it could not get any better, we were wrong. The restaurant is a beautiful relaxing place to eat Breakfast and the new bar area is a beautiful place to sit and relax. As for the staff they could not be more attentive. The cleaning staff work their socks off. They keep your room spotless, and your bedding and towels are changed every day. We did the trip to the vineyard with Kristina, beautiful place to visit. We stayed half board, and if you like your food, you will not be disappointed, you get a choice of three courses, then they bring you cake to finish. We have come home relaxed, and heavier than we arrived. Thanks again for making our holiday so special, and for decorating our table in the restaurant for our wedding anniversary. What a fabulous find .. a little gem Of a hotel ! From the minute we arrived until we left we felt like a very valued guests and the wonderful staff there made you feel part of the family . Lilia was wonderful and so welcoming along with Kristina ( who took us on a fabulous wine tasting ) and Julia and Androniki and could not do enough for us. The sun beds were just so comfortable and one could always find somewhere to be whether it be by the pool or in the very beautiful gardens with the peacocks wondering around and the Koi Carp swimming in the Japanese styled pond. The restaurant was always excellent - breakfast such a varied choice with homemade breads and jams 😋 and always a traditional Greek option at dinner - Moussaka and Beef Kleftiko were just delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and are so happy to know we will be back there next year😎😎 Thank you to all the fabulous staff at this very special hotel ❤️

We stayed here 6 years ago and I gave it 5 stars then. If I could give it more stars this time I would as they have improved perfection. Little improvements like the new cocktail bar. Improvements around the pool and lots more. The hotel is ideally located just a 3 min walk to the beautiful village of Afytos and a 10 min walk to the beach. The restaurant is also exceptional. Breakfast is amazing. Even homemade bread !! Lunch and dinner both just as good. One evening we had probably the best lamb shank we have ever had. All the staff are still the same as 6 years ago. I work in hospitality and I have to say they are the best. Every single member of the team is amazing. They even organise tours for you. We did a wine tour organised and escorted by Kristina. Amazing. We wish we had booked for longer as 7 days wasn’t enough. We will definitely be back. Thank you team Achtis. Xx

A beautiful hotel in stunning grounds. Lovely rooms & excellent cuisine. Staff so attentive & friendly & do everything to ensure you have an amazing stay here. Our first time & we would definitely return.

Just back after a 10day holiday in this fabulous hotel what we call our paradise. You are always made welcome and have been many times before. Always welcomed from Achilles, Magda,Lilia, Androniki, Kristina, Julie and all the other staff. This year there has been many changes, a new bar and Kristina making your favourite cocktail also a seating area so you can have a drink outside and beautiful area around the pool. There’s a new breakfast area with a good buffet selection and also in the evening the restaurant offers a fine menu. Looking forward to the next holiday there.

This is our 3rd stay in three years at this amazing hotel. It’s very difficult not to repeat what has already been said and the glowing reviews that this hotel has already received over many years. But after three consecutive visits all of the positives remain true and the hotel each year attempts to make changes that improve the guest experience The changes since last year include a new bar area and outside seating area next to it. A huge positive that is very well managed by the staff is the strict rules of no reserving your sunbeds We have stayed in many hotels where this is not managed very well but the Actis as with everything else, implement this very well and you can always get a sunbed albeit later in the morning you may not get one directly next to the pool. But this is not an issue. The ambience at this hotel remains incredible and it’s truly a unique experience watching the Peacocks walking around the grounds or sleeping on your balcony if you’re lucky in the evening. The grounds themselves are immaculate and the gardening staff do an amazing job. The rooms are cleaned daily by superb cleaning staff and the rooms are immaculate, fresh sheets. The food at the hotel is excellent and the selection of drinks is perfect. The walk into the village is easy was a slight incline coming back up for the last part towards the hotel but it shouldn’t be a problem for most people The staff. What can I say about the staff that hasn’t already been said. They really do make you feel like your part of their family The interaction between all staff towards each other is always filled with smiles and laughter which is quite incredible when you look at the long hours they work and the attention they give to all customers. Many other hotels and the hospitality industry can learn a lot from the Achtis hotel Kristina, Lillia, Gabriella, Julie and all the staff and management that I cant recall to list. Thank you for what you have created here. The hotel is excellent at coordinating excursions and the wine tour with Kristina was superb and I highly recommend it. The hotel also arranged a Blue Lagoon boat trip for my wife and she thoroughly enjoyed that too. The hotel now offer their own private transfer service at an additional cost which worked extremely well and it saves hanging around at the airport Finally we can’t wait to return. Part of me wishes this place was kept a secret it’s that good and that is evidenced by so many guests who returned to the hotel year after year. We spoke to one lovely couple who had already been again three times this year and have been coming to the hotel for decades

From the moment we arrived back at the Achtis Hotel, we were reminded why it truly feels like our second home. This was our 12th stay, and without a doubt it won’t be our last. A huge thank you to Kristina and Lilia, who always go above and beyond to make every stay so special. The whole team is incredible – nothing is ever too much trouble, and the warmth you feel here is genuine. Special thanks also to Achilles and Magda for creating such an amazing hotel. The atmosphere, attention to detail, and personal touches make Achtis stand out from anywhere else we’ve stayed. It’s more than just a hotel – it’s a place filled with heart. Our week at the Achtis was 5* The staff and accommodation was excellent, I am gluten free and the kitchen catered for my diet. We will definitely visit again. Christina and Lilia plus other staff especially the kitchen were fabulous
