Amazing staff and beautiful place

A charming place to stay with the staff and facilities ecellent. The accommodation beautiful and a little oasis in the heart of Agia Pelagia. Will definitely book again when i come to Crete.

Not luxury. Its a nice hotel.. Nothing special.. I certainly would not call it "luxury" as its name says. Having to constantly pay for drinks around the pool and bar is a hassle and a faff.. a luxury hotel would give you a tab.. room was clean, staff friendly

Had a wonderful and relaxed time. The Apartments are well equipped and spacious. The small village has everything you need like supermarkets, restaurants, etc.

Very nice and helpful staff. They allow guests drop their bags and to remain in the pool area or elsewhere outside the hotel and shower after checkout. This was extremely convenient, as I had a later flight. It allowed me to take full advantage of the last day. I loved the apartment. It felt like a home away from home.

We stayed here with 4kids aged from 7 to 18. The apartments are ideally located -supermarket and car hire opposite, cocktail bar and cafe nearby and both main beaches 300m away. It takes about 5 minutes to walk down to the main beach and tavernas. The apartments are a generous size, fully equipped and comfortable-met our needs completely. Very nice quiet place. Everything nearby and only a few minutes walk to the center or the beach. The rooms are very charming. They could use an upgrade, but it's really just fine. Slept well and a very clean room. Towels and room cleaned regularly. Breakfast is pleasant by the staff. We really enjoyed it here.

Very good location, very quiet and clean around. Only 3 min walking to the beach and restaurants. Isabelle and Maria very friendly and helpful. Agia Pelagia one of the best our favourite places. I hope we are coming back soon.😀.

Great family stay We arrived late but we had a little note on the front door to tell us our room number. My experience is not very good due to some movability issue due to old age. Scala apartment is very near to beach but it is situated very higher level than beach so it may be difficult for some people with limited movability. Mss Joanna and her son Manolis are wonderful hosts. Our room No 4 was for 2 persons only so didn't have extra bed at lower part of room. Well, honestly we didn't like solution that bed was at higher lever of the room (there are wooden stairs) but it wasn't big problem at all. Joanna the host is very accommodating and very kind. The hotel is clean and you have all the basic equipment to cook at home. There is is a nice community garden with tables and chairs to enjoy dinner outside.The beach boardwalk offers many great restaurants and bars with local foods. Great place to chill and relax! My apartment (studio) was very comfortable, great bed and very clean with air con, fridge, couple of electric hobs, toaster and kettle - all you need to for your stay. Good size patio / balcony outside the room with chairs and tables, and even a drying rack for your clothes! They also have a pool (child friendly!) and a bar serving snacks, drinks and good cocktails...

Very clean and comfortable hotel at the beach, have been here 7 times and always very pleased. Can recommend this hotel to couples and families with children. The pool is nice and at the restaurant you can enjoy drinks and snack food. We will be back in August.

It was perfect! We were a group of 3 families with young kids and stayed there for 2 weeks, and it was just amazing. We visit this hotel with my friend next week and we had a wonderful time. The service was perfect with friendly staff and rooms are very big with seaview . You can relax in the pool with a coctail in your free time. The bathroom was very nice. All in all, would stay there again and would recommend it.

The stay at this hotel was exceptional. The location is very beautiful and the atmosphere was amazing. The staff was super attentive, friendly and it felt like a family to us. A good hotel overall, front of house can be a little "funny" sometimes but overall I would recommend this hotel. The hotel is in a great location and free parking is close by. Walking distance to a small beach and a short drive into the town where the local shops and restaurants are. The breakfast that was included with our stay offered a variety of items to choose from and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend this place even though we only stayed for one night.

We arrived at diana appt in agia pelagia, and then Heleni received us as if we were old friends. The studios give an incredible view at 30m from the sea with a feeling of being alone in the world. Absolutely incredible hospitality!! Multiple shots of raki from the owner, and small ceramic fish as souvenirs. Although not staying in the apartments, I can only imagine they’re to the same incredible level as the bar service! Seriously considering staying for our family visit to Crete next year, and cannot stress enough how wonderful the service was! Would 100% revisit as many times as possible.

We had the pleasure of discovering Pennystella’s for dinner whilst in Agia Pelagia. Overall excellent experience! Stella was so lovely and went above and beyond to make our time memorable. From the complimentary shots of raki, to the homemade tzatziki and cake for dessert, the service was just incredible. Not to mention the amazing views, we would recommend this place!

Upon our arrival in Greece we were very stressed but as the days went by we relaxed a lot and the credit went to this splendid place and its owners, who were always able to welcome us with a smile. The view from the terrace is beautiful, the lunches and dinners based on fresh fish are delicious. And then there was the swimming pool... Everything perfect!

We are a family with 2 children and we stayed at Pennystella for two weeks... small apartment equipped with everything you need... I was positively struck by the fact that the apartment was tidied up daily by a cleaner as if I were in a hotel... it has a splendid view of the pool and sea which gives an incredible sense of peace! Lovely simple accommodation with everything you need supplied. The owners cannot do enough for you and always willing to help you with directions or day trip advice. Only 300m from the beach and half that distance to the nearest supermarket.

I love this hotel. It's our 2nd time here and we love it so much we are hoping to make this an annual trip. Dyonisis and Irene can't do enough for you. They are exceptional hosts. Lovely place to stay, it has everything you need, stayed B&B, breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice. Rooms are clean and comfortable.

My wife and myself stayed here for 2 weeks at the start of July we had a great time and found everything to our liking. excellent food and drinks at a reasonable price. we sat in the bar on many nights and met many people from all over Europe . We were well looked after by Felix and his wife Maria. We are both looking forward to returning next summer.
