Where to stay with pets in Agia Pelagia

Good place to stay, helpful staff and even the fact that the hotel is on a cliff and everywhere lots of stairs does not spoil the overall impression about the hotel

Nice location, room is OK, you should not expect five star hotel, but it is friendly. Be aware, the hotel locate on a mountain, you should expect a lot of climbing. It has a nice beach and nice swimming pools

The location is fantastic, perched on a hill overlooking the sea with rooms in small blocks cascading down the slope on 3 sides giving the place a village feel

The food is excellent with a huge choice and enough changes from day to day. This is not a place to go B&B as you’d need a hire car or taxi to escape, although a regular bus goes directly from the hotel to Heraklion

You could ask for a room near the top by reception, bar and restaurant. “The French Connection”: TUI Club Marmara fill most of the hotel with guests from France

The food quality was outstanding, with a wide variety of dishes that catered to every palate. Each meal felt thoughtfully prepared, fresh and flavourful

We had an amazing experience at this resort from start to finish (11 days in October 2025, all-inclusive). The property itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and offers a perfect blend of comfort and relaxation

Everything was spotless, and it is clear that great care is taken to keep the place immaculate. A special mention must go to the restaurant and its exceptional staff, which truly exceeded our expectations

The best solo trip I have been on. Staff are so friendly and welcoming and really go out of their way for you. Loved the 8am morning yoga sessions and the teachers were excellent. The pool and amenities were amazing

The property was absolutely breathtaking! It sat on the side of a cliff and was beyond beautiful. All the stuff were incredibly friendly. I've stayed in dozens of all inclusive resorts and this one takes the cake!

The manager found us on our last night and gave us a bottle of their own Prosecco, which was a very nice gesture. For anyone in the market for this kind of stay, I would definitely recommend this resort

Beautiful resort, amazing customer service. The Oceana restaurant (the only one with any availability the week we were there, one slot @8:30pm) was only ok, I think the buffet was better

The food was really nice with plenty of options. It was hard to get a reservation at the a la carte restaurants but we didn’t mind as much given that the main restaurant was really good

It’s a really nice hotel, modern and calming decor with breathtaking view of the sea. We had a room with a sea view which was lovely and the room was spacious and comfortable

Very friendly staff and cute cats ;) who want you to have a relaxed stay. At the day we were leaving we could take a shower and borrow towels. Thank you a lot for all Irida! We will come back!

It is relatively well located with a couple of beach areas within a 10/15 minute walk. The local main beach is very narrow and I think it's a charge of €10 per couple of sun beds

The staff all seem happy and dedicated. A couple of minor issues were swiftly resolved. Children were using both pools which wasn't best when you want to relax, but they were respectful kids and didn't make lots of noise

I was surprised to find that the jacuzzi and small sauna aren't included in the price - €20 euros for 20 minutes to use them is rather steep, I think this is rather a wasted benefit to customers, it would be much better to incorporate a booking system and allow free access for these facilities

There were plenty of sun beds and seating options. The room service and poolside service is very reasonable and food and drinks were great. The pools are rather cold, but make for great breaks from the heat of the sun

But, it's a nice atmosphere, plenty of eateries and shops. The sea was clear and even in October fine for swimming and snorkeling. You can walk along the top of the rocks to a viewpoint at the end

I still hear people talk about the uphill walk from the beach but taxis are easy to obtain, also the steps within the hotel itself so when booking a holiday be sure to research such issues if they are a concern

Just perfect I can’t fault this place at all foods amazing, rooms are amazing, staff are amazing honestly stay here, you are met with nothing but hospitality and kindness it’s honestly a great place

Similarly with meal provision, being in the hotel you have very adequate half board options but if you budget to eat out a few times you can enjoy trying the local restaurants and bars too

Simply amazing, from the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome, our cases were taken to our room, number 34 which has the best views to the ocean and also the pool

I continue to enjoy the quiet location of this hotel, on the hillside with sweeping views over the fields to the crystal clear sea (you can see fish without a snorkel) with beautiful sunrise and sunsets

Very tasty nonetheless!! The evening mezzes and complete meals on the daily changing menu are really good! The cook knows his way around the kitchen and your taste buds are in for a treat with whatever you choose

Made it so we saw some cool parts of Crete which we otherwise would have missed. There's an unlimited breakfast each morning, though always the same menu which gets a bit boring after a few days

The location of the hotel was also ideal for exploring Crete, perfectly split between the two largest cities, successfully void of the ultra touristy feel

The whole experience at this villa was exceptional, from the communication before we arrived, when we landed and then on arrival

cannot say enough good things about this property, we stay in villas whenever we go abroad, so we have vast experience of the good and the not so good. this is a class above what we have had in the past

The villa is spotlessly clean, huge space and a lot of privacy. George the host is superb and we will look to return in the future. this villa should not be missed

only bad thing was the tiny room showers and no amenities in the room. met chrissey too (owner) whom was lovely and chatty. Thank you for a lovely stay overall!

If you want to walk to the beach it takes 25 min fortunately they have shuttle bus with very kind bus driver)) Municipal beach is okay there are places with rocks as well as with sand This hotel is very good for place for all inclusive vacation

We picked this hotel for our holiday in Crete, first if all the location is the best: in front of the sea, a few meters away from dinner locations and supermarket

Great place - zero line, from the room directly to the beach! Hospitable host. A place to stay was chosen in advance and were not mistaken with the choice. Nearby are many shops and cafes. Heraklion is 30 minutes by car

Breakfast covers all tastes, while the renovation of the building, further upgrades the place it has gained all these years in the area, in the choices of travelers. As for those in charge, words are few

The rooms must have been recently refurbished because they look so new and cosy. Very very clean, nothing was out of place. I don’t have any single complaint, I am happy, it’s perfect

Last but not least the owner is a legend, he is a total dude, ready to help, always with a big smile on his face. He is very welcoming and pleasant. I would definitely come back here

I was in the Aquarius Hotel 10 days. This time was the most wonderfull. The hotel is very clean, very close to the beach. They have also transfer from and to the airport

I was with my family in Aquarius Hotel in 2019 in Juni. Its no more apartaments! Its real Hotel!. I recommend this hotel for everybody: family, couples, singles, etc

the room was quite big and clean!! The pool area was lovely decorated and last the European breakfast was perfect I ate a great omelet!👌🔝

The location of this property was great. It was super close to dining, shops and beach access. The front desk was attentive and we enjoyed relaxing by the pool.

We had one of the top of the hill suites - the benefit being the view but if you dont want to climb a lot if steep stairs request the lower ones by the two pools ( we didn’t mind the climb at all )

Stayed at Panorama Village Hotel for a week in July - and wow it was great! We originally booked a garden view room - which wasn’t to our standards - completely our fault so no judgement held against the hotel

Well worth the extra cost as we absolutely loved the room and in fact it made the holiday as we were on the top floor with a beautiful panoramic view of the sea and nearby towns

After 1 night in the garden view room we asked if we could move to a Sea View room, which the kind staff and manager managed to sort out for us at a very reasonable cost

Location - given the amazing sea views comes with a downside. It’s around a 10 minute walk to the beach downhill and 20 back up- however this isn’t a huge deal as the hotel offers a shuttle throughout the day

The owner the family so helpful. The appointments are very very clean. Nothing is to much for them Location perfect. Pool clean Just book it you wont regret it I would have no problem going back here

We stayed here with 4kids aged from 7 to 18. The apartments are ideally located -supermarket and car hire opposite, cocktail bar and cafe nearby and both main beaches 300m away

It takes about 5 minutes to walk down to the main beach and tavernas. The apartments are a generous size, fully equipped and comfortable-met our needs completely. Rooms were clean, towels and sheets changed often enough

, Properly working air-con on every room. Pool is clean and not too deep for the kids. The owner are really kind and prices on bar by the pool are not excessive. We would really recommend these apartments!

Everything nearby and only a few minutes walk to the center or the beach. They could use an upgrade, but it's really just fine. Slept well and a very clean room. Towels and room cleaned regularly

The beach is right around the corner - beautiful beach - Mediterranean blue water. There is great Scuba diving, snorkeling and a lot of water sports on the beach. You can rent sunchairs 2€ and umbrellas 3€ per day

Joanna the host is very accommodating and very kind. The hotel is clean and you have all the basic equipment to cook at home. There is is a nice community garden with tables and chairs to enjoy dinner outside

The room was clean and equipped with a fridge, kettle, and a very basic kitchenette and cooking utensils. The room was cleaned daily, and fresh sheets and towels vere provided every 3 days

Have to mention very nice back yard where you can use chairs and sunbeds. Budget acommodation but worts every cent. Lots of mosquitoes!!! In the room and in the back yard

The prices were very reasonable, the rooms quite clean and the location very comfortable

Great place to chill and relax! My apartment (studio) was very comfortable, great bed and very clean with air con, fridge, couple of electric hobs, toaster and kettle - all you need to for your stay

Good size patio / balcony outside the room with chairs and tables, and even a drying rack for your clothes! They also have a pool (child friendly!) and a bar serving snacks, drinks and good cocktails! Mary and the team were really friendly and helpful & went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable

There are a couple small supermarkets, nearby by for all your daily needs High recommend and already planning to visit again next year!

We visit this hotel with my friend next week and we had a wonderful time. The service was perfect with friendly staff and rooms are very big with seaview. You can relax in the pool with a coctail in your free time

The resort is located in the earth of the hill which fell down to the beautiful Agia Pelagia beach. It is a tipical Cretan wildlife, a quite place where you can stay in a total relax, today a rare place to find

Nicely located only a 10mins walk from Agia Pelagia Breakfast is good, nice continental plenty of choice and the breakfast staff are very welcoming. Pool is small but with the beach so close its not really an issue tbh

After reading some previous reviews we were pleasantly surprised. We arrived late and reception wasn’t open but easy to follow instructions on location of our key and we found our rooms

Fruit, yoghurts, pastries, breads, cereal, omelettes, fried eggs etc. we headed to the pool for our first day. Small but perfect for a quick dip, we practically had it to ourselves most days anyway

A good hotel overall, front of house can be a little "funny" sometimes but overall I would recommend this hotel. It's a nice quiet location close to a lovely little beach which is separate from the hotel

A great breakfast, friendly and professional hosts, and amazing view from our room and many different locations of the property. There were many restaurants and cafes a 2 minute drive or 10ish minute walk down the hill

Sitting eating breakfast amongst olive trees with views over the bay still the best in Agia palagia, it is so calm and peaceful everything you could want for your Crete getaway yet within walking distance of 2 beaches with many bars and restaurant ,the 2nd beach has more restaurants for the evening and the 20min up hill walk on the way home looks much harder than it is ,a taxi only 10 Euro anyway always...

This is our 5 visit ,and I just have to write new review as I have seen so many improvements ,this time we took friends and they loved it as much as us ,it still hasn't lost it charm but new kitchens and showers are a wonderful extra

Not really a place to bring small children as people come here to relax and unwind. Big pool, clean rooms and air conditioning ! Each room is unique, fitted with a small basic kitchen and is nicely decorated

George and Fofi are AMAZING hosts, so knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Always willing to fulfil any request. Amazing views and such a quiet and relaxing atmosphere

We have just had best weekend playing in the sea and the pool at the hotel. we have never been disappointed
