Kalimera Hotel

Hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed during my time here in Santorini. The staff and owner were all very hospitable and generous. I highly recommend and will return in the future.

A lovely family run hotel. A relaxed atmosphere. Traditional food, very tasty. Everything we needed for our chilled holiday.

Just arrived back from a lovely stay at this hotel. All the staff are so helpful and friendly, and they offered multiple suggestions on what to do around the island and always greeted you with the warmest smile! The rooms are relatively small but very clean and contain everything you need. The hotel is quite a distance from the main area of Oia but it was actually quite nice to be able to escape the mayhem of Santorini and come back to a quiet, beautiful, less touristy area, with lots of nice restaurants within walking distance.

Very nice hotel, built in a beautiful style and very well maintained. I rarely had such a clean hotel room. The breakfast was ok, not too bad, but with too little choice of fresh food. The staff was overall very friendly and the food we had for dinner was very good.

Great stay at this family run hotel.Flora is very attentive and helpful. Beautiful immaculate facilities and rooms. Pool area is a delight with attached bar and restaurant.The bus stop is just outside the hotel.Akrotiri is a pretty village with lovely tavernas. The ruins here are well worth a visit. It is good to get away from the hustle and bustle of the larger towns.

A warm welcome, friendly owner and staff, house dog Louis. Arriving here after a night flight is as a hot bath.
Room was fine, a modern variation on a classic house. We got a quiet family room, where the girls (5 and 8) had beds on the vide. A little private garden, fantastic view over vinyards and the sea, combined with a real nice pool just outside of Akrotiri make it a perfect place. The hotel has a small and decent bar run by a really pleasant and friendly customer oriented bartender. The hotel serves a very good and varying breakfast, and offers a decent dinner for a decent price. There is a tightly packed minisupermarket nearby where you can get your essentials and lunch. There are also quite some restaurants ( but do try Theofanis) and an apothecary. All at walking distance. A fantastic viewpoint over the caldera is just across the street, as is a road down to the inner caldera shore. Public transport is in front of the hotel, cheap, semi-reliable, chaotic, but it gets you where you want to get to.

Super welcoming host and outstanding location. Room was not overly spacious, but had everything what you need. Bathroom was exemplary clean, finished with high quality items and looked like new. Whole hotel is build with great attention to detail, maintained and cared for. Nice pool and homey courtyard, serving also as breakfast area allows enjoying the local architecture and vibe. View from just outside of the hotel is incredible. Caldera Beach that is across the street is a recommended place for snorkeling and has dive centre for those that want to enjoy the deeper waters.

If you would like to sleep in a little, it might be difficult as the host's dog likes to welcome people joining for breakfast starting at 8 am. Doors to the room allowed us to hear every movement around the hotel, which was slightly disturbing, especially when new guests were arriving late in the night.

Greatly recommended place for everyone looking for high quality lodging.

Lovely hotel run by the nicest people! Very clean, good food, great location if you look for something a bit quieter but still, well connected, easy to go around the island, beach nearby, lots of restaurants around - recommend a lot!
