Santorini View

Amazing hotel. The views from the caldera view rooms are absolutely breathtaking. The room has everything you need and the workers are really helpful and nice. I will definitely try and come back to this hotel if I am ever back in Santorini. 10/10 experience for a relaxing holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and the view from our balcony was breathtaking! We arrived early due to our ferry, and were welcomed with breakfast and towels to lounge by the pool until our room was ready. The staff was amazing! Vasilis and Marta provided assistance with directions as well as anything we needed to make our stay more comfortable. Anthony provided a delicious breakfast and even packed us a light lunch to take with us when we left. We felt like family 😊

Lovely views comfortable beds basic breakfast. Looking for somewhere to lay your head and explore this is ideal. Bus service is cheap and great to get around the island. Walking on edge of roads is a must here not suitable for kids.

From the moment we arrived till the moment we left, we were treat like royalty and nothing was too much trouble. All of the staff are amazing and what the don't know about santorini isn't worth knowing. They are advised best food places, best ways to travel and even arranged a boat trip on our behalf. Every experience we had was outstanding. Thank you for making our holiday AMAZING.x

I've been there last year with my partner and we had an amazing time since we got there. The location is magazine cover worthy with a ''freshly built old school'' feel to it. From its pool terrace as well as room balconies you have a breath taking panoramic view over the caldera, the town of Fira and and the coast of the island. Being positioned on the edge of the cliff you manage to take your breath back as you have this refreshing breeze (at least we had) every time you go out on the balcony.

When we arrived we've been welcomed by a very friendly yet professional gentleman (non of that fake smile or forced cheerfulness), taken to out room which was clean, cool and cozy, we thought this is just perfect.

As we're heavy coffee drinkers we quickly finished the provided coffee pods and when attempted to buy some more we were given the pods on the house. The surprises didn't stop there as we got to meet the manager (another incredible gentleman) that offered us to move in one of the bigger rooms with even better view at no extra cost - which for me sounded too good to be true, yet it was true and it was so so good.

On our last day we had the flight in the afternoon so we had to check out early. We've been offered to use the pool and other amenities until the minibus came to pick us up (offer which we accepted) and even thou out baggage was at the reception we did not feel any less guests in the place.

It was a pleasure to have met the manager and the two hosts who were such genuine people (smiled with the whole face and chatted not because they had to) and to have spent such a lovely week at the idyllic Santorini View.

Had a week here, early September. Good for couples. Fortunately not a kid in sight. Full occupancy over peak months seems achieved with a number of Chinese tour groups who stay a couple of nights before the next one comes along.

You are here for the amazing view as it looks northwards out over the caldera. Full view from great swimming pool. Most rooms seem to have a balcony or viewing area. The pricier rooms have the unrestricted views of the caldera but our standard room was good.

Note that as it is north facing it can be windy here.

Breakfast (8-10am) is a decent range of buffet options, quality at the level of a 3 star hotel. I just had quadruple expressos from the machine. The tour groups pile in at 8 for the first half hour. The couples wait till nearer 9am.

We rented a car for the week as we wanted to explore the island independently. I thought it best given the location of the hotel although many guests seemed happy to use the local bus services. Akrotiri is a few minutes walk to get to the small selection of restaurants there.

Staff at the hotel are knowledgeable and helpful- definitely one of the main plus points in this place.

We've recently stayed at Santorini View Hotel and had an amazing time. All of the staff were highly attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable about the island.

The hotel itself was great. Clean, well-presented and located out of the way from the touristy areas. Its perched on the side of a cliff and has incredible views of the Caldera and Thira. The pool area was lovely and sun loungers were readily available when we did want some chill time. Breakfast was enjoyable too, a simple buffet with hot and continental options, plenty of choice.

It was a great location to explore the island, enjoy some chill time and make the most of Santorini. Although, to make the most of the trip, I'd recommend hiring a car, Thira was a 20 minute drive and Oia is circa 35/40 minutes away - plus plenty of other great spots just a short drive away including the Akrotiri Ruins, beaches (Red Beach, White Beach and Black Beach) plus plenty more to see and do. There were also regular buses to and from Thira.

The room was modern, clean, spacious and well equip. The view from the room & balcony (overlooking the caldera & Thira) was absolutely incredible!

The hotel is based near to the village of Akrotiri which is a nice quiet village with a few nice bars and restaurants (Highly reccomend the Greek night at Theothanis for live music, plate smashing and dancing!) - just a 10 minute walk.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing base away from the carnage of Oia and Thira allowing you to explore the best of the island.

Amazing view on the Caldera and Fira.
Very nice welcoming and friendly staff (and flexible).

When arriving they upgraded us to a more expensive room for free. The more expensive room had a very nice hot tube with amazing view. However, the room was right next to the street and we could hear the car noise. When we explained that to the staff they immediately gave us back our original room, which was way calmer and had even better view. We really enjyoed the common swimming pool with an amazing view and the whole hotel stay. 2 little bottle of water and 2 coffee capsules were provided per day in the room.

Akrotiri, the town next to the hotel, was very cute and much less crowded than Fira and Oia.
