The sun rise view from our first room was breathtaking!
The sun set was nice both at the hotel and the light house hill near by.
The personal are very friendly and polite.
Angel was the true luxury of the hotel with his best intentions to accommodate us in the best possible way.
The location is quiet and far from the crowed. Yet a short drive to other places.
The breakfast was the worse we have been served so far in Greece. Mostly industrialized missing the European charming freshness.
The rooms definitely not worth what you pay for. More details bellow.

We had a perfect stay at the hotel. We were in a 2 storey suite with our children ( caldera view suite). Views from the room were amazing and it was very private. The staff at the hotel are so helpful , they go above and beyond to meet your needs, nothing was any trouble. We hired a car to explore the Island, this is a wise choice as there are no pavements and its a very hilly area. There is also lots of parking space at the hotel which was great. We would love to visit and stay at this hotel again. We found this side of the island to be much more relaxed and better views than from Fira and Oia , the sunsets are also amazing from this end of the island

Lovely hotel. Amazing location. Most staff are lovely - Angel in particular and the bar staff.
However there was a very rude male receptionist at night. My girlfriend went to reception to ask for some water, the bar was closed. Whilst waiting there was another guest asking generally about boat trips. My girlfriend explained that we had an amazing boat trip booked via an independant website and you wouldn't need to book through reception. The couple were very grateful but were still happy to book through reception. He then proceeded to get angry with my partner and raised his voice, told her to shut up, and in a glare to go away. She asked again for a bottle of water he replied I'll see what I can do.
I immediately went to reception to speak to this member of staff who then ushered the other couple away and told me that my girlfriend was rude to him (she wasn't) | then got angry and raised my voice at this member of staff and he then went onto say that I couldn't have a bottle of water. You would get treated better at the other establishments in the local area.
Eventually we then rang room service (who is basically this receptionist) and ask again, this time he brought us a warm bottle of water and told us that my girlfriend was rude to him.
———
We also tried to have our last meal at the restaurant, we asked at reception to book a table, which Angel (who is brilliant) duly agreed. However when we went to the restaurant we were then told they could only do bar snacks and basic salads (not what we wanted). Had this been explained to us at the time of booking we would have looked elsewhere.
I spoke to the manager upon checking out who apologised for his member of staff, and I also apologised for raising my voice at them. However the matter still stands that this is no way to treat a paying guest of any hotel. I can only ascertain that the receptionist receives some form of commission for booking trips through them, and therefore was worried about that. If that was the case, would it not of been better to “find” the bottle of water and we would of been on our way?
The hotel isn’t cheap by any stretch of the imagination, and had both these things not happened it would of been worth it, however both of these experiences tainted our view of the hotel and we will not be travelling there again.

I don’t even know where to begin with how amazing this hotel/resort is. Let me start with the day time manager at the desk and the bar tender. These guys ROCK! The manager (I forgot his name) was so unbelievably helpful with guidance, locking my key in the room, recommendations, and even setting up rentals to get dropped off and picked up! The bar tender (also forgot his name) wore his sunglasses and was always very friendly, made the best mojitos, and was just a pleasure to be around.
They have beautiful views and gorgeous pools! They’re private and quiet and only about 25 minute drive from Fira/Santorini and about 40 from Oia to watch the sunset.
The room, I can’t even tell you how amazing our room was along with the room service. Daily, we came back to a perfect and spotless room. I’ll let the videos and pictures show you just amazing our room was.
I highly recommend this hotel. The pricing was also very affordable compared to others on the island.

The view from the room was amazing. But the issues were too great to overlook. I booked a suite with a heated and jetted pool. The room was in decent shape, but there were moderate cleanliness issues, which I addressed with the front desk. They didn't seem to care. There was heavy dirt and hair in the showers, and I'm the grout between tiles, lots of bugs in the pool, and an infestation of ants. The jetted pool didn't work, and the pool was cold. The umbrella on the deck was broken. The pool didn't heat and completely turned off at 9pm. And I didn't have wifi the entire stay (which wouldn't be so bad if i had a signal at all). I tried to address these issues and was met with a half-hearted apology and no solutions. One staff member even said, "It's sad that you'd let such small problems ruin your vacation." If you pay the premium for a "4 star" hotel, this isn't an acceptable level of service. It's the only "four star" hotel that makes the customer service themselves. I had to make more than 10 trips in a two day period from my room to the desk and restaurant to get basic accommodation, and when I did rely on staff, they said "I'll be right back" only to be found 30 mins later near the lobby smoking cigarettes and/ or playing on their phones. We even had a staff member tell us to prepare our own coffee, but when the machine was broken, he said, "Too bad, I guess you can't have coffee." Only to turn around and make an espresso for other guests. Also, the restaurant was so bad that we chose not to eat the free breakfast. Skip this place.

Superb hotel and location. Great reception staff and room cleaners.
Utterly dreadful pool, bar and restaurant staff. Three guys sharing one brain cell. Not a clue. For a four star, breakfast very mediocre and no idea in the kitchen. Cheap nasty food and top dollar paid.
Much better quality food and service in restaurants opposite hotel.
Wonder if owners have any idea. Still, definitely the most beautiful part of Santorini

Spacious rooms but they lack amenities like bathrobes, wine glasses, quality bathroom essentials etc. Pool area was filled with dirt. Please ensure outdoor areas are clean since there is a lot of dust around this property.

Friendly staff. Good restaurant. Amazing views of the caldera.

We booked a junior suite. Agreed with the manager Mrs. K. three months in advance that we would like to have a junior suite on the cliff. Unfortunately we got a room in the garden. It's a shame since we clarified this three months in advance. Still, Angelo was able to organize the Cave Suite for one night. On the negative side, my wife forgot her wedding ring when changing rooms and after the cleaning ladies were there, the wedding ring was no longer there. Unfortunately, it was stolen. Unfortunately we couldn't do anything and the safe in room 106 (Room Helios) didn't work either.
The cleaning lady complained to us, since we are also Greek, about the hotel / the payment / and about other guests.
Shortly negatives:
The rooms had no toothbrush cups.
The hair dryer had no performance and failed several times.
A temporarily tied tree on the wooden construction creaked very badly.
the furniture is very old.
the fridge was very noisy.
no sockets near the bed.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Wonderful staff, best view in Santorini, quiet location. Well appointed rooms. We will certainly come back!
