Acroterra Rosa Hotel & Spa

Beautiful, super clean big rooms. Breakfast area overlooking the pool with a view of the hills across the volcano crater (water) where you can see Fira (capital city) on top of the hill. Hotel is a short walking distance of eating and drinking places. A more tranquil area if you don't like the hustle and bustle of a city. Perfect for us. Red beach only a 10 min bus ride. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are all very helpful and smiley. We are definitely planning to come back.

We were very pleased, the staff is very attentive, we will come again next time, the best hotel in the Akrotiri area, perfect in terms of price/performance. I definitely recommend it.

We stayed here for two days on our visit to Greece. The staff working are the greatest people. Anything and everything you can imagine you need or want is taken care fast. They are all extremely friendly and helpful. Made our stay very nice.
Definitely a place to stay if you are going to Greece.

We are vegan. We have lived in Northern California and Toronto, both of which are excellent places to be vegan. Best vegan breakfast we ever had was at Acrotera, which is not even a vegan-specific resort, but rather one that cares deeply about its guest experiences... Personal, intimate service, upgraded room balcony overlooking the Aegean Sea. Insanely large comfortable beds (I'm 6'6" and my wife is very tall). What could be better?! Did I mention some of the best coffee I had was at Acrotera?

Amazing. Worth the money

Very pleasant staff, awesome swimming pool, good restaurant. We had a superior suite with a private jacuzzi. From there we had a great view on the see and the island. I recommend this hotel.

Best three day one night anniversary vacation we have ever had and it wouldn't have been possible without Acroterra and it's staff. I planned and booked our trip the night before arriving, but there was so much that I did not anticipate about what was possible/affordable in Santorini.
The front desk staff, who were more than accommodating, helped me book events, make reservations, contact shuttles, and educated me on how to easily get around the island using the public bus (showed me and gave me a copy of the bus schedule), which later became priceless information, and even getting us to and from the airport. They also held onto our luggage, after checking out of our room, so that we didn't have to drag our luggage around before our evening departure.
We were able to book a couples message at the hotel's Spa, the day of our departure, which was amazing! Make sure to utilize the Spa during your visit, as you will not be disappointed. The only downside, because of COVID-19, the Spa's jacuzzi was closed.
Acroterra restaurant's waiters and cooks were kind, accommodating, fast, and easily recalled our room number for charging our bill to our room..which is impressive. The bartender also does some bar tricks...I find it very entertaining.
The pool outside of the restaurant is very well maintained. The water is very cold in Sepetember, but I didn't mind one bit given the perfect weather. Other people tend to leave trash around...I guess hoping that the wind will pick it up before the staff, but the staff are very good at ensuring cleanliness.
As for the housekeeping...ΕΝΤΥΠΩΣΙΑΚΟ!!! Our first night there, we were slobs, but we returned to a clean and orderly room. They left us bottles of water, which was life saving. We left important documents out, and nothing was touched, moved, or missing. I honestly haven't stayed at a location with better housekeeping.
I am very pleased with our experience, and WHEN we return, we will be staying at Acroterra Rosa. I cannot wait and it's only been one day...

Brilliant hotel accommodations with super personable staff. The hotel is elegant with spacious rooms and great breakfast included. Location is excellent if you want to stay outside of Fira; it’s about 20 minutes by car, atv, or bus. (Bus is phenomenal. It’s full sized, clean, comes every hour, and only 1.80€ versus renting a car or atv, or taking a 25€ taxi one way).

There is a small charming village just 2-4 minutes walk from the hotel where you will find restaurants, convenience grocery store, pharmacy, and a couple of shops. All of these are much more affordable than in Fira.

There’s a few activities to do in the area as well. There’s an ancient Venetian castle to explore just a couple minutes up the road, horseback riding, 20-30 minute walk to the beach, and much more.
