My son and I stayed at the Adonis Hotel for three nights during our recent vacation in Greece, and it was a wonderful experience! We were welcomed warmly by the owners and staff and the requisite room needs were all covered (hot showers, cold air conditioning to beat the Athens heat, etc.). Beyond this, however, were two important elements. The breakfast was lovely and served on the top floor of the building with a view of the Acropolis (a great way to start your travel day in Athens), and the location was absolutely perfect: on a quiet street, within walking distance of the most important sights in Athens, as well as numerous tavernas and bars. Once we took public transportation (the X95 bus) from the airport to within a 5-minute walk of the hotel, we walked everywhere during our Athens time--it was that central and easy! We highly recommend the Adonis Hotel for your next visit to Athens!

You could not ask for a better location. Just steps from the Plaka. The staff was extremely helpful with directions, restaurant recommendations, and flexible check-in and checkout. Room was extremely clean and functional. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Located in a very nice part of the Plaka near restaurants and shopping but area not overly crowded. Fantastic roof deck with an amazing view of the Acropolis. Woman who serves breakfast is outstanding. People at the front desk extremely helpful. Nice room. Great value.

The best location in the Plaka area and the best staff. Always greeting us with a smile when we go out or come back from an enjoyable day. Only walking distance from all sites - Acropolis, Agora, Unknown Soldier Square, Monasteraki, Panathenaic Stadium, Botanic Gardens, etc The only time we didn't walk was going to Lycabettus Hill and the bus meeting point going to Meteora. The only downside is that there is no tea/coffee facility in the room. And the breakfast could be boring after 2 days as there is not much variety. The breakfast view of the Acropolis is stunning. The lift could only carry 3 people and if you have big luggage, you might go one by one in the lift.

We had a pleasant stay at Adonis Hotel with our family. The staff were kind and helpful, especially at the rooftop bar, where they were very friendly. The breakfast was sufficient, and the hotel’s location was excellent—right in the city center. Though the room was small, it was perfect for resting after exploring. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

While the hotel is very clean and in a very good spot for exploring.It is let down by no drink making facilities in the room and no where to get a drink during the day.The rooftop bar in good,but was only open once during our stay!! Breakfast was good,plenty of choice.

Great location in the Plaka within walking distance to most everything. Room, typically small, was very comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast with a view of the Acropolis was a bonus. Or a drink at night when the breakfast room becomes a bar!

Lovely hotel with friendly staff, central position and a great base for sight seeing trips. Room was very clean, with small balcony area. Lift is tiny and stairs spiral, not idea for those with mobility issues. Amazing views from rooftop bar and nice breakfast. Athens is beautiful and well worth a visit.

The room was clean, great location! We walked 10 minutes to the acropolis and museum. The rooftop bar has center view of the acropolis and spectacular at night! The breakfast was good. The front desk was very helpful booking transportation for us for the airport. Restaurants are all close by as well no car needed. The price was very reasonable.
