We were excited to check in after a long, sleepless flight but were quickly disappointed. This place is beside a night club and people were partying obnoxiously until 4/5am. You can forget about getting a good night sleep if you stay here. They provided you with ear plugs but they don’t help! Only giving it 2 stars because the location is great - close to all the main attractions in Athens and lots of food places near by. Room was also spacious and clean compared to some other hotels we stayed at, and the staff were friendly. But we spent 2 night here and weren’t able to sleep at all ….. you can imagine how that set the tone for the rest of our trip😴

Warning there’s a nightclub 2 doors down that was pumping until 4am, earplugs don’t stop your bed vibrating. I love a good boogie but it kept the family up all night which is the reason for 1 star. Spoke to reception they just said sorry, apparently their opening days are sporadic so you maybe in luck! Location wise it’s great for walking around all the sights. The breakfast is small but okay for a light snack and coffee, you’ll have eaten too much the night before anyway. We had a family suite and the room was good, the shower a little tired but good for the price compared to others.

There’s a great barber shop next door if you need a tidy up! Also there’s a good 3 hour laundry a few mins walk to drop off and grab later on.

Room was nice, very good location. Balcony was big with an ok view.

Big downside was that we had ants in the bathroom that even made its way to our bed. When we called reception to let them know, they first said we can change rooms, BUT there are no other rooms available? So why bother offering it? Upon asking again in the morning, if we can maybe change rooms, the staff asked us multiple times if we had food in the room, or threw something off the balcony. They also mentioned multiple times that this has never happened before, in a very rude tone of voice.
As a compensation they offered us a voucher for their other spa hotel, which was useless to us, as it was our last day and we already had plans. At check out we had to again ask if there is any other compensation they can offer, to which again, in a rude manner, the person at the front desk said no.

Wouldn’t recommend this hotel, since if there is a problem, they do not seem to care or try to blame you for it. Also the breakfast was mediocre at best. Very simple buffet and horrible coffee.
