The resort also does a free transfer taxi service from and to airport if you book via their website. There is also a small tourist tax you will have to pay at end of stay which we assumed was included

But it’s a standard tourist hotel tax so not surprised. Breakfast has good variety, the portion sizes were very big and you get an option of fresh orange juice or fresh filter coffee for drinks

Therefore walking is not an option and you will have to factor in car hire or the resort’s subsidised taxi service to and from most regions in Santorini

We had a wonderful stay at Desiterra resort. We would like to come back someday and would highly recommend it. The resort is a bit isolated

The owner had a villa on site and can occasionally be seen walking around with his dog. The villas had pretty much all amenities you might expect. The only negative was some out dated paint in our shower floor

Super conveniently located right next to the town. We stayed in other hotels like agali hotel before which had amazing views but none of them had the superb service and friendliness of winery hotel

The location of this hotel is in the heart of everything but once you step through the doors it is a wonderful refuge from all the business around you

The staff just so helpful and nice. With their price, this is a bargain. The location could not be more friendly to a tourist

Not only did the hotel staff Antonio welcome us with a cold glass of white wine but also carefully explain all the details. The bathroom was the only bathroom in Greece we encountered that was scented

We came in the off season (November) and they made sure we were able to find restaurants and shops that were open. To that point, if you are staying in the off season, this hotel is perfectly located

It's close to Fira, the main hub during this time, but far enough away that it is peaceful and quiet. And the sunset is dead on to the hotel this time of year. Absolutely spectacular, and we will be back!

The general manager, Mr. Christos Mendrinos, was very kind, helpful, informative, and friendly gentleman. Very good location in the heart of Fira.

They are strictly following Covid protocols and maintaining breakfast slots to avoid group gathering, which also gives us privacy and we can have the caldera view to ourself if we opt for breakfast on terrace

We had a great stay here in mid November although most of the restaurants, shops and businesses will be closed past 15th Nov, we felt it's a good time to visit Santorini cause we can avoid the crowds

A very good hotel, with a breakfast better than normal, and very friendly staff. Every time I go out or come back, the first thing I see must be their smile. If you have any request, just tell them.

The room was always spotless and the cleaners were so nice always. They also have a jacuzzi which is enough to refresh yourself but there’s also a swimming pool in the hotel near it

Delicious breakfast with fresh Greek pastries and coffee, yogurt, fruit and toasts. The owner was simply wonderful and helped us a lot. We book our taxis and ferries with his help

These staff, including the manager, were just so kind! We were also offered an upgrade (at a cost - which we were happy to pay) due to being on our honeymoon, and for the staff to be so kind and consider us to be upgraded just makes the already fantastic experience 1,000x more fantastic! We highly recommend Splendour Resort - it’s like being home and that’s what hubby and I needed after being away...

The whole experience made our honeymoon 10 times better. I was skeptical before i arrived but thank God i picked this place. Then i saw the other villas i almost booked and realized they were nowhere near as good

Located on the main road but can't hardly hear any of the vehicles going by. Food is in restaurants are reasonably priced. Booked a bed and breakfast and breakfast offers a wide variety of choices

For those who like a more quiet location but not to far from the amenities, this hotel is perfect. Away from the hassle and bussle of the main town centre but can be easily reach by less than 10 minutes walk

Like everyone has been reviewing, they kindly greeted us with a a cold drink and cool towel and offered us a seat in the lobby while they explained the islands as well as how to get around in the best way

They helped call and reassure us. The customer focus and service was just exceptional they really mean it when they say just ask and we can help you. The rooms were spotless and cleaned very well

The entire resort was well thought of - rooms have ample space and almost all have fantastic views, bathrooms are well appointed, pool area is just lovely, breakfast is decent and food and drink menu by the bar is limited but reasonable and good

Bathrooms are good - for some reason, Greece hotel rooms don’t have a shower curtain or a door, so be prepared to have a slightly wet floor but it’s cleaned daily. Pool is large enough for the size of the resort

Of course the views from our unit are to die for (I’ll Never forget how extraordinary this particular unit was!!) We highly recommend! We want to give a special shout out to Melinda at the front desk that worked hard to get us a last minute booking for a catamaran, Demetrius for carrying our luggage and Sara for promptly responding to all of our requests which included a meal served in our unit, restaurant...

If you are young or in shape or both definitely stay here down the caldera! You will thank yourself when you are rewarded by the amazing view, the delicious breakfast and the amazing staff who will make your stay very pleasant!

Everything about our Porto Fira Villa was fabulous!!! The unit itself was so comfortable in traditional Greek design…we stayed in the 3 level unit with hottub, day bed, dining table, sink and shower on the 3rd floor

There were many breakfast options to choose from (which was included) and it was brought right to our unit at our selected time

Beds were comfy, breakfast was fresh made daily, views from our suite (#5) and the upstairs patio were absolutely gorgeous all hours of the day, suite 5 was nice and spacious, excursions and rentals could all be booked at the reception desk, everything you need for a perfect vacation

This is a boutique hotel with an amazing location in santorini, great views of the water and volcano, amazing staff. We lost air conditioning one night but perfect otherwise. We stayed here in 2019 pre-covid

Have stayed at a few places in Santorini and this was by far the nicest in so many ways. The hotel has several indoor and outdoor lounge areas where you can enjoy the stunning views and take your own drinks

There are no hotels above or below so there's uninterrupted views of the ocean and no one looking down - or noise from nearby. The rooms are beautiful and have comfortable beds, and the staff were simply wonderful

The staff at the front (Christos and Gianni) were great! They helped us get a cab to the port, helped get us ATVs for our stay, and recommended the best spots for beaches and restaurants

The breakfast was very nice with eggs, vegetables, fruit, cheese and of course the yummi Greece's yogurt. Most of all very nice friendly stuff , all of them happy to help any time

Oh and the buffet breakfast was delicious and very generous - you could take your meal and sit on a veranda or in your room or in the cozy restaurant

Great place the manager very helpful with any enquiries, the room spacious and clean, the pool was and as great views the same as the breakfast area. The location is within walking distance to the center of Fira.

Well the checkin is tricky, and the service and checkout is just subpar. I would recommend this as for quick stay close to caldera and all food outlets and bus station Rooms are clean, and balcony is alright

This is a beautiful property on the exterior. The room we stayed in was dark, the lights we insufficient, or alarmingly bright. The shower was so small you had to become friends with the shower curtain

Amazing location and wonderful staff. I was with a tour group and we were are very well taken care of. Joanne is an outstanding hostess. The pool is gorgeous with all types of seating, very shady and a pool bar

The hotel is in a perfect location in Fira - close to the center of town, but somewhat removed so it’s nice and quiet. We also thought it was very convenient to have a grocery store so close to our hotel

Lovely place, excellent location, amazing views, and Georgina was the best hotelier! The hotel was in the midst of renovation and there were no other guests, and even though some amenities were not fully functional because of the renovation, Georgina made sure we were well taken care of! She gave us a quick overview of the area, places to eat, driving suggestions, etc

She even gave us a partying gift upon check out, which we’ll open when we get home! Overall excellent experience and would definitely recommend!

We booked the Venus and Astrophelia suite that included breakfast. The staff are incredible-- very sweet, kind, polite, and very responsive. Communication: Sakis (the hotel manager) is very responsive to emails

He was the one who would bring breakfast to everyone's room, be the same person to bring it back down, be the same person to go into everyone's room and clean their pool, be the same person to carry out guests' luggage

Sakis frequently checked in on our well-being, asking us if there's anything he can do for us, if breakfast was good, if we wanted to keep/change our breakfast schedule. They cleaned our room AND private tub everyday

They hv great spread of breakfast - eggs, breads, tea, coffee, fresh fruits, juices, champagne, corn flakes, etc. Costas serves the breakfast to your rooms on the terrace which I call "Breakfast with a View"

One of the best hotels I have stayed in! The view was gorgeous and we sat outside for hours. There was a little jacuzzi on the ledge and tons of seating area to eat breakfast and enjoy the view.

Definitely bang for your buck when it comes to the views! This hotel is not only in a great city location, but it is close to a parking lot and only down one flight of stairs which is very helpful when you have heavy suitcases

We have had a very nice stay in Castello-Santorini. The room was nice, good airconditioning and a nice balcony with sea view. The swimming pool was also nice

Good price for money,evrery 2 hours free lift to Fira(I would suggest another 2 needed 11,30 and 5,30)

There is a €15 shuttle from the airport to the hotel but I walked from the airport to the hotel using Google Maps. It took about 1 hour to walk with my small case using main roads only. It was like walking around Malta
