The walk to Fira (closest hub) is uphill, 45 minutes and has many old abandoned buildings in the path. Everything was perfect. Perfect base to explore the island of Santorini. The Hotel is located close to the airport, but there is hardy any nuisance form air traffic. Special mention to the restaurant with excellent food quality at reasonable prices

Amazing stay at desiterra (5nights), far from the Crowd and 10min away from Fira. Perfect place to relax in the Nature, closed to a beach, kids friendly, Nice services, warm welcoming. Absolutely stunning new resort, (facing east despite being on west coast) beautiful big pool,rooms are Absolutely perfect! Nice hotel, though it looks towards the other side of the sunset. Front desk was very nice, and the person that helped with our bags (Mevlan, from Albania) was very serviceable and a nice person. Breakfast was OK. We had private pools, but the water was very cold. The room was very nice and kept clean. Price is too high for what you get, though.

Evening atmosphere on mains sections where is restaurant and Swimming pools look nice , upstairs small terrace for sunsets view also lovely but small problem busy main road which cannot be seeing on pictures, breakfast of have better choices will not complaining but restaurant lovely choices of taste food , drinks , cocktails, wine. The Majestic Hotel was the prettiest hotel we stayed at in our time in Greece. The pool is sooo relaxing, breakfast was delicious, and all the staff at the restaurant and bar were the sweetest. The rooms were also a really nice size and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

The five stars are not enough for what it offers. Amazing rooms-villas on the cliff, Caldera. There is a pool that starts next to your bed and ends at a window with unrestricted views of the volcano. I would’ve ranked them higher if I could... the room looked even better in reality than in the photos, the view is superb, the location is great- right in the center and Maria made us feel at home. She was available for us for everything we needed during our entire stay and was so helpful and kind! I stayed at Aqua Suite in Villa Bordeaux and it was such an amazing experience! Very chic and cozy suite combined with awesome panorama! Loved the private jacuzzi and terrace as well! I went to Santorini on the 30th Aug - 4th Sep and stayed at this hotel at the Terra suite. This hotel is one of the best hotels I've stayed in and the Terra suite is so beautiful, it has a fantastic view of the Caldera which is from your own private jacuzzi. We enjoyed our stay at Sun Rocks. There are a lot of stairs (believe 200 from top to bottom) but adds to the charm. Breakfast was outstanding. Staff was first class. Overall can recommend.

I loved the Aigialos Hotel and I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Santorini. I didn't see a single hotel that could compare. It's right on the Caldera and the rooms all have exquisite views. Stayed for 5 days in July of 2016. It's located over a main road of the island, but it's not close to Fira (at least not a walking distance). At the time of my stay they offered a shuttle van to Fira every hour. The breakfast options were amazing, I will never forget their Greek Coffee. The view and sunset is what they are famous for. Expensive, but totally worth it in my opinion.

Beautiful setting just a 5 minute walk from Fira town. The rooms are clean and bright, we had a hot tub on our balcony which was great. The staff are the hotels greatest asset, so friendly and professional and cannot do enough for you, they really made our stay.
