Hotel Antique

Great hotel in the old town and very near the lake. Very comfortable room with everything you need. Staff very friendly and informative especially when explaining the car parking which is not far away. Breakfast was really good. Visit it when you can it is well worth it.

We stayed at Hotel Antique in Ioannina a few days ago. It was simply wonderful - the room, the hotel, the courtyard surrounded by lush greenery. We booked this hotel based upon Tripadvisor reviews and were not disappointed. If you are coming by car your arrival can be a bit fraught as there is nowhere to pull in. You will find yourself in a one-way street, and (usually) patient fellow drivers soon queue up behind you while you frantically try to unload your luggage! However, the hotel staff are used to this situation and rapidly step in to assist. Indeed, within minutes you and your vehicle are whisked off to a nearby car park where it can rest for the remainder of your stay, and you can let your blood pressure abate! The house is an immaculately restored C19 building with plenty of wood and ironwork all set against soft blue pastel shades, and furnished in period style. We were fortunate enough to have booked the One-Bedroom Suite with Sofa Bed which is a splendid room complete good bathroom, small lounge with sofa together with the added benefit of a balcony overlooking the inner courtyard. In good weather breakfast is taken in the sunlit courtyard, which is lovely, otherwise in the small comfortable lounge. Breakfast includes a range of unique Greek fare, including the ubiquitous filo pastry pies (which I love), but unfortunately (as with so many hotels) the undertray heaters are never sufficient to keep the food piping hot. Mind you, their hot chocolate is to die for! Spiros and his team make the place tick. They are efficient, courteous and very helpful with making excursion tips, restaurant reservations etc. All the practical aspects of a enjoyable stay are also present as well – car parking, lift, laundry, extra pillows, reliable reception staff – things that, if they are not present, you don’t half notice! Thoroughly recommended

Has to be the best hotel I’ve stayed at in all of Greece. The hotel is located in the most perfect location, steps away from the Castle entrance, Lake of Ioannina, and all the shopping, restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel is truly unique, with its hidden back garden where you can enjoy a drink or smoke, to it’s attention to detail from every piece of art in the lobby & rooms, to even down to the forks, plates and spoons!
And the service is impeccable! With each host and hostess that we’ve encountered at our stay, they were the sweetest people. Every time we would return from our day, it felt like we were coming back to a warm hug and familiar faces. I truly cannot wait to return to Hotel Antique. Thank you all so much for our stay!

Unique hotel and location. One of the best I have ever stayed . We were there with a group of 17 and were treated like VIPS. Thanks a lot for the unforgettable service and quality of breakfast . We will certainly come back. Cheers from the billekes Belgium

prime location , the hotel is amazing top service , the breakfast is very good ,really recomended the rooms are very clean and the service is very nice and worm welcome we enjoy to stay in the hotel we recomend to stay in the hotel for family or cuple vaction

very spacious hotel 10 min. from the centre of Pernik by car. The serviced are excellent and the owner one of the best professional I have met. Totally recommended!

When we first arrived, Irini was there to welcome us. She was extremely helpful with everything. She really went above and beyond. A nice spot for the hotel with walking distance to the castle, lake, and lots of restaurants. The breakfast was amazing! Lots of variety and some nice Greek foods! I would definitely stay here again! Even though it is close to the busy streets, it is set back and quiet. They have a nice courtyard as well :)

We booked Hotel Antique at the recommendation of our local friend, and we stayed here in our five days in Ioannina. The interior of the hotel is quaint and cosy.

There were several things we liked about this hotel, such as:

1) Excellent location in the city centre. There are numerous good restaurants within short walking distance. The lake and shopping street are all very close by as well.
2) Safe and very clean. Probably the most important attribute to any traveller.
3) Staff are very warm and helpful (hi Irina!) Breakfast spread also very good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at Antique, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ioannina!

Very nice hotel in the middle of the old town. You can walk to most attractions in 2-3 mins! The staff are very helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast. There is a hotel parking space very close by. Nice rooms, wonderful shower. Highly recommended
