The exterior, the food and the service was great. I would wish for a proper espresso machine instead of the nespresso. The room was a bit old. Ventilation on the bathroom did not work. Excellent location. All that you want in a hotel .. and more. Access to private beach. Don't care for salty (or rough) water? Awesome, plus-size pool with full pool-side service. Enjoy a Mai Tai or a glass of wine with fruit. More amenities (spa, gym, etc. that we didn't get the chance to enjoy).

Very dated and tired hotel with lots of things broken or looking past their best. There is no shower curtain or screen so the bathroom floods. Breakfast is chaotic with fake orange juice and weak coffee. The beach is lovely and the fact it's right by the hotel is a good selling point. The pool area is nice but looks like it will be busy in high season. Overall, not a 4 star, definitely 3.

Rooms are very dated, it is astonishing that the rooms are lacking shower curtains, and the bed creaks horribly with every move. If you have the option and the budget and you are looking for a decent room, simply pick something else. Not enough tables for breakfast or food, be prepared for a modern day hunger games. We had a 7 day stay in Grecotel Filoxenia with my family in 2 connecting rooms. This hotel has huge potential if they renovate and improve their F&B act. The location is outstanding - right next to Kalamata and in a private beach where the waters are crystal clear. They need to invest to upgrade their rooms and it can become a wonderful resort.

Clean, friendly, modern and relatively well-equipped hotel in an excellent location on the Kalamata seafront and close to all the local amenities.

Its super well located. And the price we are paying is excellent. Bed is good size but the bathroom is super tiny. But the price and location plus breakfast gives it the 4 stars. Staff is friendly too. check t=out the sunset shot I got from our balcony.

Very nice, clean rooms - wonderful view! The staff is really lovely and helpful- Breakfast was basic but good, the beach is right opposite, the hotel will give you towels (for a small fee). Close to a lot of cafes, restaurants and mini markets. The city centre is a short taxi ride away (or 30 min walk) - all in all,quite a lovely place to start a Greek holiday.

Beachfront Hotel close to all restaurants in the area, AC in the room was old and hard to start, fan speed can not be regulated. The room was clean and we had a good rest (after the ac problems). The staff was not unfriendly but seemed a bit demotivated. Breakfast was okay.

One night stop over The owners are Greek American and an absolute source of information and always around. Loved how it was non-smoking everywhere Would recommend for sure. Thanks to Nico for great service!
