Hotels with pool in Kalamata

Spent a week here in October with my family. The hotel was absolutely beautiful- the renovation was great. Our room was spacious and lovely. The swimming pools were also great. We were able to swim every day

The beach is very pebbly as other people have described. But if you wear sandals in or water shoes it’s fine. The location is beautiful as well and perfect for exploring the area The food was delicious and varied

Definitely a great hotel and would highly recommend a visit

We asked for some pool towels but these never arrived. Possibly the lady had just finished her day and was heading home

This is a lovely hotel on the edge of Kalamata. Refurbishment has been done very well and staff went out of their way to help. Pool and gardens are lovely as photos suggest

I am 65 years old, but that’s my hotel that’s our place that’s where we belong, Filoxenia, kalamata, A very very big thank you to Miss Stavroulla,, to Mr Antonis , all the young and beautiful , waiters and waitresses which their names I forgot , Mr Nikos the Manager, Maria,, my apologies for forgetting some names , the best holiday , next year again, thank you again kalamata,,,,,,

The hotel is across the street from the beach, but they have a tunnel to go under the road safely to get to the beach. They have enough pool chairs for everyone and provide you a towel

Nice rooms, comfortable beds, gorgeous pool area and friendly staff. Beach chairs and service available, and is 5-10 min away from other restaurants and beach locations and chairs. They also have a wonderful masseuse

However, the room was dirty; random blue hairs in the sink, the bedsheets were stained, so was the blankets, the beds were creaky, and also the railing on the upper floor was broken

The pool is large, the rooms are clean and the breakfast has a lot of options. It helps that the beach is literally across the street

Great hotel for a family with an outstanding beach. Our family will absolutely come back. This hotel is focused on families and couples; not for stag parties. We extended our stay at this hotel

A very inviting and pleasant place, the rooms are spacious and there is a balcony. The hotel is very clean and tidy. The pool is very large and clean. A big disadvantage is the depth of the pool is impossible to stand

The outdoor pool offers all the best amenities and allows you to enjoy and relax while sipping a glass of wine. Highly recommended if you are in the area!

A very nice hotel, but a bit disappointing, we arrived at the hotel in the afternoon and asked before paying if there was a spa in the hotel, they told us there was a hot pool and a spa that closed in about two hours, we were happy because it was exactly what we wanted after a day of riding a motorcycle

A luxurious hotel with amazing rooms, private pool and very friendly staff. The breakfast menu is copious , fresh and delicious

Lovely venue I got talking to the gardener. Randomly had a very long conversation. Later on in the afternoon he was still working there. I asked him if he was not tired. He was elderly type gentleman

Elysian hotel will always have a special place in my heart. My husband and I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights after a car accident before we could board our flight home

The location was fantastic, a very short walk to the beach and we asked for beach towels and they were provided to us. Kalamata Town Centre is a 15 min walk. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful

All wishes were taken into account and since there were few guests at our time 06/2025, we always got loungers by the pool and also direct places for breakfast by the water

We were upgraded to a junior suite which was spacious and well appointed with comfortable furnishings and with a view of the pool area

The hotel is small, 28 beds, located 5 minutes from the sea front and 15 minutes from the city centre, in a peaceful, residential area. It is immaculate, and everything has being thoughtfully provided

Staff were attentive and friendly, providing us with great recommendations for food and beaches nearby. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety and choice, catering to all dietary requirements

The boutique hotel was very clean, modern and most importantly, quiet which allowed for a peaceful night's rest. Nothing was an issue for the staff and they were all so polite and engaging

We had sodas by the magnificent pool (they serve cocktails if you like). There are 2 lovely banquette rooms near the pool. It would be fantastic to have a wedding reception at this place. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Amazing view, perched high above city. Clean rooms. Plentiful breakfast. Center of Kalamata not too far. Owners and Staff friendly.

One of the nicest views you will ever see overlooking the sea/ocean. Anywhere you look out from the hotel you are looking at the water. Very clean hotel, great breakfast/full breakfast

And Giannis at the Apollon Bar by the Olympic pool added a personal touch by remembering our favorite drinks every time. Made us feel like more than just tourists. Would 100% recommend this place for families

Just got back from an incredible week at the Belvedere resort. The hotel was beautiful — clean rooms, plenty of pools, and loads of activities for all ages

The rooms are well appointed without being pretentious. It is nestles in the hills above a small quaint beach town. Yet has the quiet sophistication of being our a small city

Rooms are fine, nothing special but good soundproofing and AC. 30, pool suitable for kids (we have a 3yr old) and nice little private beach with rocks

Bring your own kettle, tea bags, sugar this is a must (remember this). Pool bar staff are lovely, Reception staff courteous & professional

The hotel is situated at a beautiful location just opposite of the beach. Amazing view, amazing cleanliness and such a great area inside and outside the hotel. The staff always ready to help you and always with a smile

I highly recommend this secluded hotel, which offers access to a pool with a lifeguard and a very quiet private beach. The hotel also features a breakfast, a restaurant, and a beach bar by the sea

Beach towels are available and must be returned every two days with a deposit. The hotel is located on a slope, so be prepared for a bit of a walk if your room is further away

We have really great time at the hotel. Nice, clean room, beautiful swimming pool area, nice beach, very clear sea. Very friendly and helpful stuff, great breakfast buffet, fresh fruits, very good dinner

Break fast was super, a lot of different food and preparations, always very fresh. The pool is big and at a nice temperature, calm atmosphere, ideal to have a break in our stressful lives

We took a lot the taxi to go to Kalamata and they always phone for us in Greek, very helpful ! The room was very big and clean, bed confortable, sheets changed every day, amazing view on the sea and Kalamata city

I stayed in Messinian Bay Hotel for 7 nights with my partner. The Staff were very nice and helpful, they know a lot about the local activities and good prices

You must drink bfresh handmade lemonade with stevia only 5 kcal per jar ???????? perfect place to be!

Staying at this hotel was an average experience. While the rooms were clean, they felt quite dated and in need of a modern refresh

The room is very clean, spacious and pleasant. The only problem is the busy road where the hotel is located. on the balcony it is impossible to relax or hear the sound of the sea because the passage is incessant

Seafront hotel Ostria is a seafront hotel in Kalamata. Clean and spacious tooms that have been partially renovated but you cannot call them modern ornew. Breakfast is below average so do not bother

The hotel is very well located for getting lost on foot in the city. You can also easily walk along the beach and swim there. The hotel staff is very welcoming and very friendly, extremely kind

All of Kalamata within walking distance from the hotel 🏨. Easy parking, many options for coffee, drinks, food around within a five-minute walk. Excellent breakfast with many options of local flavors

Great place to be in Kalamata. Excellent view over the harbour and into the mountains... Hendrick's Gin with cucumber as in Hamburg and Düsseldorf. Food is great! Simply enjoy!

Structure with an amazing view, very well organised, very clean, excellent breakfast, prices, especially in the low season, incredibly low. In some rooms the sea is right under the balcony... beautiful!

We stayed for 10 days and each day was a plaesure from breakfast to bed time. The service was quick, cheerful, and the food great

The hotel is perfectly sited with seawiew from all the rooms. The rooms are nicely decoreted, and the cleaning was perfect. The breakfast was nice with eggs, bacon warity of cheeses and some fruits

The staff was very nice and helpfull. The sunset was magic from the balcony. There is a few restaurants in walking distence from the hotel. I would recomend this hotel, maybe we will be back

Pleasant room, with balcony overlooking the sea. Ate there that evening, and left with leftovers. Coffee is available, for purchase through tout the night at the lobby bar

Second time to Greece, first time with a child. This hotel has gone above and beyond for us! We definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay in the Kalamata area

We just visited the beach in front of the hotel, took a swim and had some coffee and drinks at the beach. Great, friendly and fast service. Good prices.

It's not to far from the main city and real close to some amazing beaches

Rooms and premises are ok if you're not too picky or too "vanilla". The location is great since it's just 6 meters from the beach and away from bars (so it's quiet enough)

It could be cleaner but that does not include the bathroom and bed which (which are very clean)

Giannis, who I was in touch with, showed interest in my travel plans and and shared hints/tips about how to get to different locations. Also there are plenty of coffee shops nearby with options for breakfasts/dinners

We loved our stay at Horizon Blu! The view from our room was to die for and the breakfast buffet was wonderful every morning. The beach was a very short walk and had comfortable loungers with cute umbrellas

room was very clean and they could upgrade the mattresses. The breakfast wasn’t as good as I remember it. I stayed a few years back and the quality has gone down, but otherwise I enjoyed it.

The room comes with a huge balcony. The KING sized bed is great - these seem to be a rarity in Europe! Dinner was fantastic. Get the fruit place or poke bowl, both fresh and delicious. The price was very reasonable

Messinian Icon Hotel was one of our favorites of our stay in Greece. The view is mesmerizing, with the glimmering sea and mountains in the background. Everyone we interacted with was welcoming and helpful

They remembered us from 2023 Great room - spacious with a balcony. Yup it’s on a main road but the double glazing cuts that noise out Aircon fab Breakfast nice Pool was lovely

The staff are lovely and will bring you drinks by tbe pool if you want. It seemed much better than a 3 star. Slightly more expensive than our normal places but it’s August. It exceeded our expectations
