We did a quick trip into the old part of Kalamata, but the castle was closed (3:30) and we weren't impressed with...

This is not a luxury hotel, but it is in a great location overlooking the sea, it is clean and comfortable and great value for money. Staff are friendly and helpful, especially the lovely Jenny (English version of her name).

Oh this place is just wonderful! It is walking distance to restaurants and other food places. The staff are just so friendly and go over the top for you, will call you a taxi, recommend places, help you take your suitcases around. For a 2 star hotel, it is absolutely AMAZING. Please come here if you ever need a place to stay.

The Haikos Hotel, is our favourite hotel, not just in Kalamata but of all the hotels we have stayed anyway. It should be classified as higher star rated hotel. Apart from the pandemic, my wife and I have been staying at the Haikos for two weeks every year in May, since 2016. Why do we keep going back? We got a nice room on the third floor overlooking the messinian golf. Our stay was really pleasant and staff was very helpful! Except from a few details such as that the window lock was not working and we had a narrow shower space this hotel’s experience was above a two star hotel and recommended.

For a 2* star hotel, it is clearly above this standard. The rooms are clean and the guest service is great. You feel welcome from the start and are given all the information you need. The rooms are clean and there is a small lift to the upper floors. The reception is manned 24 hours a day and what is of great use for guests with cars is that there is a certain number of parking spaces at the hotel...

Rooms and premises are ok if you're not too picky or too "vanilla". The location is great since it's just 6 meters from the beach and away from bars (so it's quiet enough). It could be cleaner but that does not include the bathroom and bed which (which are very clean). Overall, a nice experience

There is just a view to the sea, they dont have the beach

Decent service, good wifi, this hotel has a great view of Kalamata air conditioning and a fan are available too. The problem is the rooms weren't that good themselves; nothing fascinating to be honest. Some outdoor chairs were unstable and the bathroom was horrible. It is ok to stay there for a few days but not any longer.

Good standard...climate system...view on sea...practicable rooms...prices for double 45, single 30 at end of june is ok!...polite service...location near the beach ok...a little noise from street but in night ok...

Staying at this hotel was an average experience. While the rooms were clean, they felt quite dated and in need of a modern refresh. The real highlight of the stay was its prime location in the heart of the downtown area, making it perfect for exploring the vibrant nightlife and diverse dining options on foot. I would have given 5 stars it’s a great hotel , great location , friendly staff - apart from one of the receptionists (brassy blonde) who was rude and antagonistic . The small dark haired girl on reception was very kind and helpful .

The hotel is very well located for getting lost on foot in the city. You can also easily walk along the beach and swim there. The hotel staff is very welcoming and very friendly, extremely kind. The room is very clean, spacious and pleasant. The only problem is the busy road where the hotel is located... on the balcony it is impossible to relax or hear the sound of the sea because the passage is incessant...

Very large room for family, but very small bathroom 3 m2 max with WC inside...so negative. Opposite Cleaning done moderately and only once a day. For us it is not up to the standard of a 5 star palace, I give maxi 3 to 4 stars. No coffee machine, no bathrobe, no toiletries in the bathroom, no slippers. Clean, friendly, modern and relatively well-equipped hotel in an excellent location on the Kalamata seafront and close to all the local amenities.

Pleasent and clean good locatiin

Second time to Greece, first time with a child. This hotel has gone above and beyond for us! We definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay in the Kalamata area. It's not to far from the main city and real close to some amazing beaches.

We just visited the beach in front of the hotel, took a swim and had some coffee and drinks at the beach. Great, friendly and fast service. Good prices.

Stayed for 4 nights using it as a base to visit Sparta, Mystra & other local historical sites. Very well located a 5 minute walk from the seafront, and a 20 minute fairly pleasant walk into the town centre, the room was spacious and clean with a balcony, there was plenty of available free parking in the side street next to the hotel. Love this hotel. They remembered us from 2023 Great room - spacious with a balcony. Yup it’s on a main road but the double glazing cuts that noise out Aircon fab Breakfast nice Pool was lovely. Really convenient for beach and restaurants and some great ice cream places.
