2 star hotels in Kalamata

Inexpensive hotel at the beach of Kalamata city. Small but cleans rooms, pretty nice sea view. Central location, many entertainment options at the area.

Basic, clean rooms. We had the room on the first floor and next to the road. Between then road and the church bells, it was really noisy. Breakfast is OK, with bread, croissants, muesli and some fruit. Location is on the beach but far from the centre.

Decent service, good wifi, this hotel has a great view of Kalamata air conditioning and a fan are available too. The problem is the rooms weren't that good themselves; nothing fascinating to be honest. Some outdoor chairs were unstable and the bathroom was horrible. It is ok to stay there for a few days but not any longer.

Good standard...climate system...view on sea...practicable rooms...prices for double 45, single 30 at end of june is ok!...polite service...location near the beach ok...a little noise from street but in night ok...

Oh this place is just wonderful! It is walking distance to restaurants and other food places. The staff are just so friendly and go over the top for you, will call you a taxi, recommend places, help you take your suitcases around. For a 2 star hotel, it is absolutely AMAZING. Please come here if you ever need a place to stay.

The Haikos Hotel, is our favourite hotel, not just in Kalamata but of all the hotels we have stayed anyway. It should be classified as higher star rated hotel. Apart from the pandemic, my wife and I have been staying at the Haikos for two weeks every year in May, since 2016. Why do we keep going back? We got a nice room on the third floor overlooking the messinian golf. Our stay was really pleasant and staff was very helpful! Except from a few details such as that the window lock was not working and we had a narrow shower space this hotel’s experience was above a two star hotel and recommended.

For a 2* star hotel, it is clearly above this standard. The rooms are clean and the guest service is great. You feel welcome from the start and are given all the information you need. The rooms are clean and there is a small lift to the upper floors. The reception is manned 24 hours a day and what is of great use for guests with cars is that there is a certain number of parking spaces at the hotel...

I stayed here for 1 night last month following my arrival to Greece for an archaeological excavation program. The staff were incredibly helpful and hospitable, and even arranged a taxi for me the next morning! I wish I could have stayed longer, but I am so glad that I now know of a great place to stay the next time I am in Kalamata.

I find most of the reviews unfair the location is central and that’s the main prp of this hotel, rooms and the bathroom were clean. helpful receptionist. good value for money

The place looks a bit worn down, but we had a nice big room for 4 adults at a good price. It has a central location with the city center a few minutes away on foot. Very friendly staff that made us feel welcome.

I stayed in Messinian Bay Hotel for 7 nights with my partner. The Staff were very nice and helpful, they know a lot about the local activities and good prices. Unfussy 3* hotel, functional but good sized bedrooms with fabulous terraces overlooking the bay. Private beach is wonderful.

We have really great time at the hotel. Nice, clean room, beautiful swimming pool area, nice beach, very clear sea. Very friendly and helpful stuff, great breakfast buffet, fresh fruits, very good dinner. Near hotel is nice pastry shop with delicious goods. I can highly recommend this place!

You must drink bfresh handmade lemonade with stevia only 5 kcal per jar ???????? perfect place to be!

Clean, friendly, modern and relatively well-equipped hotel in an excellent location on the Kalamata seafront and close to all the local amenities.

Its super well located. And the price we are paying is excellent. Bed is good size but the bathroom is super tiny. But the price and location plus breakfast gives it the 4 stars. Staff is friendly too. check t=out the sunset shot I got from our balcony.

Very nice, clean rooms - wonderful view! The staff is really lovely and helpful- Breakfast was basic but good, the beach is right opposite, the hotel will give you towels (for a small fee). Close to a lot of cafes, restaurants and mini markets. The city centre is a short taxi ride away (or 30 min walk) - all in all,quite a lovely place to start a Greek holiday.

Beachfront Hotel close to all restaurants in the area, AC in the room was old and hard to start, fan speed can not be regulated. The room was clean and we had a good rest (after the ac problems). The staff was not unfriendly but seemed a bit demotivated. Breakfast was okay.

We visited the hotel for an one night stop in the area. The rooms are cozy, at a good shape, super clean, dark enough in the night and quiet. Came here for a few days in 2019 with two others. The hotel is in a great location with lots of things to do nearby. They offer a huge range of complimentary breakfast options, the room was clean, comfy and air-conditioned and the rooftop pool is a great amenity - special thanks to the manager who let us stay up there at night! Our home in Kalamata for past over 30 years were we go annually at least once a year. Excellent location, spacious rooms with all facilities because it acts as apartment hotel. Owners and staff are always friendly and helpful in all matters. One of the few hotels in Kalamata with a nice pool.
