2 star hotels in Kalamata

Service and location was great .. however if you are a “light sleeper” not the place for you … the walls are paper thin .. the breakfast was ok

If you want a good room, with top tier WiFi, breakfast with variety, this isn't the place for you. If you want to stay within 2-5 min. walking distance of the beach, restaurants, convenience stores, bars, while having the sweetest staff you could imagine, you've come to the right place with this hotel.

Right in the middle of everything. Beach is across the street. Right in the middle of the beach boardwalk. Many restaurants around you to choose from. Close to pier( Marina). Rooms are clean and spacious. The staff are very friendly.

Rooms are average with mini refrigerators. Their service and room attendants are excellent giving plenty of towels and cleaning rooms daily. There is a free breakfast buffet every morning. The locations is perfect for beach, and for eating. There’s plenty to do in the area.

Great place to stay! We stayed for a few nights at the end of December 2023. The view is amazing! Every day there were caring girls cleaning the rooms and this leaves a wonderful impression on the guests. The breakfast is with seasonal fruits, nice vegetables, there is everything you need. Decent service, good wifi, this hotel has a great view of Kalamata air conditioning and a fan are available too. The problem is the rooms weren't that good themselves; nothing fascinating to be honest. Some outdoor chairs were unstable and the bathroom was horrible. It is ok to stay there for a few days but not any longer.

Good standard...climate system...view on sea...practicable rooms...prices for double 45, single 30 at end of june is ok!...polite service...location near the beach ok...a little noise from street but in night ok...

Oh this place is just wonderful! It is walking distance to restaurants and other food places. The staff are just so friendly and go over the top for you, will call you a taxi, recommend places, help you take your suitcases around. For a 2 star hotel, it is absolutely AMAZING. Please come here if you ever need a place to stay.

The Haikos Hotel, is our favourite hotel, not just in Kalamata but of all the hotels we have stayed anyway. It should be classified as higher star rated hotel. Apart from the pandemic, my wife and I have been staying at the Haikos for two weeks every year in May, since 2016. Why do we keep going back? We got a nice room on the third floor overlooking the messinian golf. Our stay was really pleasant and staff was very helpful! Except from a few details such as that the window lock was not working and we had a narrow shower space this hotel’s experience was above a two star hotel and recommended.

For a 2* star hotel, it is clearly above this standard. The rooms are clean and the guest service is great. You feel welcome from the start and are given all the information you need. The rooms are clean and there is a small lift to the upper floors. The reception is manned 24 hours a day and what is of great use for guests with cars is that there is a certain number of parking spaces at the hotel...

I find most of the reviews unfair the location is central and that’s the main prp of this hotel, rooms and the bathroom were clean. helpful receptionist. good value for money

The bathroom in the room was clean and there was plenty of warm water to shower with. •Cons: The building was in poor condition with the paint peeling off the exterior. Although the payment was made by debit card we did not receive a POS receipt, which we asked for. Merely a handwritten one.

The place looks a bit worn down, but we had a nice big room for 4 adults at a good price. It has a central location with the city center a few minutes away on foot. Very friendly staff that made us feel welcome.

The hotel is perfectly sited with seawiew from all the rooms. The rooms are nicely decoreted, and the cleaning was perfect. New towels every day. Pleasant room, with balcony overlooking the sea. Ate there that evening, and left with leftovers. Coffee is available, for purchase through tout the night at the lobby bar..we were off schedule with sleep! Lovely breakfast, with numerous choices. Nice pool. We stayed in Messinian Bay for 5 nights in August 2023. Three families with 4 kids age 5-10 years old. The hotel is situated right by the sea, there's a private beach in front. Pool is very nice. Excellent location on the sea with spacious rooms, clean and service from the staff in all infrastructures (reception, bar, restaurant, pool, beach). Excellent breakfast but also a restaurant worth trying. We will definitely go again!!

I would have given 5 stars it’s a great hotel , great location , friendly staff - apart from one of the receptionists (brassy blonde) who was rude and antagonistic . The small dark haired girl on reception was very kind and helpful .

The hotel is very well located for getting lost on foot in the city. You can also easily walk along the beach and swim there. The hotel staff is very welcoming and very friendly, extremely kind. The room is very clean, spacious and pleasant. The only problem is the busy road where the hotel is located... on the balcony it is impossible to relax or hear the sound of the sea because the passage is incessant...

Came here for a few days in 2019 with two others. The hotel is in a great location with lots of things to do nearby. They offer a huge range of complimentary breakfast options, the room was clean, comfy and air-conditioned and the rooftop pool is a great amenity - special thanks to the manager who let us stay up there at night! Nice, modern hotel that's close to the beach and the center of the town, very polite staff, COVID-19 protocols are strictly held, pleasant rooms, great pool area on the roof, adequate breakfast, relatively economical.

Our home in Kalamata for past over 30 years were we go annually at least once a year. Excellent location, spacious rooms with all facilities because it acts as apartment hotel. Owners and staff are always friendly and helpful in all matters. One of the few hotels in Kalamata with a nice pool.
