Enough choice from the buffet and quality is good. The dinner buffet is nothing like that. Grecotel charges €30,- a person per dinner buffet

Very dated and tired hotel with lots of things broken or looking past their best. There is no shower curtain or screen so the bathroom floods. Breakfast is chaotic with fake orange juice and weak coffee

The beach is lovely and the fact it's right by the hotel is a good selling point. The pool area is nice but looks like it will be busy in high season. Overall, not a 4 star, definitely 3

The Garden City Hotel is not far away from the beach (approx 4 min walk). It is also not far from the city centre (approx 10 min walk) and a small park is also not far away

Nice rooms, not too spacious though. Didn't actually use any service, although the staff was nice and polite. Good location, not at the beach, but quite close at the seaside, with easy parking

Best Greek hospitality, the staff just went over their heads to make our time convenient and our stay enjoyable. The hotel is on a street not far from the beach. Small but sufficient pool really, really, the best people

This was an exceptional boutique hotel. The premises is spotless and the breakfast provided was plentiful as well as delicious. The BEST part of the hotel (as in most enterprises) is the staff

Adequate and clean room was upgraded. Large balcony but unfortunately overlooking busy main road which was very noisy. Not the best location and a bit of a walk to the port area where all the restaurants where located

Clean, sleek and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast which features wallnuts, which i find rare, among a host of dozens of selections. A wonderful destination for a secluded retreat

Rooms are fine, nothing special but good soundproofing and AC. 30, pool suitable for kids (we have a 3yr old) and nice little private beach with rocks

The hotel is quite isolated, but with a car location is good to explore both Kalamata and the surroundings

Receptionists were always very kind and available to call us taxis anytime we needed (the hotel is located at approx 12-15€ taxi ride from Kalamata)

However, the breakfast could use more variety. To access the sea, you can either cross the road or use an elevator provided to get to the other side. You can also enjoy snacks like club sandwiches or salads

I highly recommend this secluded hotel, which offers access to a pool with a lifeguard and a very quiet private beach. The hotel also features a breakfast, a restaurant, and a beach bar by the sea

We have really great time at the hotel. Nice, clean room, beautiful swimming pool area, nice beach, very clear sea. Very friendly and helpful stuff, great breakfast buffet, fresh fruits, very good dinner

I stayed in Messinian Bay Hotel for 7 nights with my partner. The Staff were very nice and helpful, they know a lot about the local activities and good prices

Unfussy 3* hotel, functional but good sized bedrooms with fabulous terraces overlooking the bay. Private beach is wonderful.

We took a lot the taxi to go to Kalamata and they always phone for us in Greek, very helpful ! The room was very big and clean, bed confortable, sheets changed every day, amazing view on the sea and Kalamata city

Break fast was super, a lot of different food and preparations, always very fresh. The pool is big and at a nice temperature, calm atmosphere, ideal to have a break in our stressful lives

And the price we are paying is excellent. Bed is good size but the bathroom is super tiny. But the price and location plus breakfast gives it the 4 stars. check t=out the sunset shot I got from our balcony

Very nice, clean rooms - wonderful view! The staff is really lovely and helpful- Breakfast was basic but good, the beach is right opposite, the hotel will give you towels (for a small fee)

Clean, friendly, modern and relatively well-equipped hotel in an excellent location on the Kalamata seafront and close to all the local amenities.

Beachfront Hotel close to all restaurants in the area, AC in the room was old and hard to start, fan speed can not be regulated. The room was clean and we had a good rest (after the ac problems)

Close to a lot of cafes, restaurants and mini markets. The city centre is a short taxi ride away (or 30 min walk) - all in all,quite a lovely place to start a Greek holiday

Great customer service and a high-end atmosphere all around. The hotel is in a very good location and has a restaurant inside but there is a lot of things to do around. The views from the balcony are quite good as well!

Great place to be in Kalamata. Excellent view over the harbour and into the mountains... Hendrick's Gin with cucumber as in Hamburg and Düsseldorf. Food is great! Simply enjoy!

Good location but not near the beach. A bit expensive, but I guess all hotel are during July. Clean rooms and a beautiful roof poolbar-restaurant

Location great close to centre of Kalamata. Room spotlessly clean beds exceptionally comfortable with fabulous bathroom /wet room. Breakfast brilliant caters for everyone

Had two visits to the spa again a wonderful experience would highly recommend. Negatives - parking on road front of hotel limited spaces

Little traffic noise early morning but all in all a very pleasant and comfortable stay

We had sodas by the magnificent pool (they serve cocktails if you like). There are 2 lovely banquette rooms near the pool. It would be fantastic to have a wedding reception at this place. I would go back in a heartbeat!

Great views and breakfast buffet! On the negative side, it’s way up on a hill, roads not easily walkable and the road surface very rough for most small cars

The breakfast is good and in a room with yet another beautiful view of the bay and the city. It does have a steep access but,the front desk person came out to help with luggage without my asking

The walk to the lobby from parking lot is way too steep for older people or people with a disability. Large rooms, tiny tv, quiet surroundings

Go there if you can get a good deal but you might want to eat somewhere else

Breakfast is also served on your private Terras and The area is very quite so perfect for people who want to rest and charge up their batteries. If we are in the area again i would definitely book again at this hotel

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Vager Mani, The room was very nice and clean, with a private terras and an excuisite sea view on Kalamata, the hosts make sure you have everything you need during your stay

For sure worth investing in some decent curtains / blind / shutter - impossible to make the room dark enough to get a good sleep - with the addition of the bright green glowing key card holder, and the bright blue phone light - all in all ruined the room completely, massive disappointment

The pool on the rooftop is well maintained and the amenities are at a good shape. The hotel is nicely located with the beach, the main venues and the city center all in walking distance

We visited the hotel for an one night stop in the area. The rooms are cozy, at a good shape, super clean, dark enough in the night and quiet

They offer a huge range of complimentary breakfast options, the room was clean, comfy and air-conditioned and the rooftop pool is a great amenity - special thanks to the manager who let us stay up there at night! The staff are really friendly and helpful - they answered our questions every day about local attractions, explained directions to us and even organised a cab for us twice with a reliable...

So happy we decided to stay here! Comfortable rooms with a fun & functional design, great location with great restaurants within walking distance, and an exceptional staff very helpful with recommendations and any help you may need

After the payment, when we asked where the spa was, they explained to us that every service in the spa is paid for and pre-booked! When we went down to find out, it turns out that the spa has no availability at all this evening, very disappointing

An excellent 5 star hotel in Kalamata, good location for touring the south of Peloponnese. The hotel is very careful with Covid-19 regulations

Very fine resort with access to the beach, excellent restaurant. Secure, private, quiet, away from city center. To go anywhere you need to walk or have a car.

The outdoor pool offers all the best amenities and allows you to enjoy and relax while sipping a glass of wine. Highly recommended if you are in the area!

Looks like a good clean and aesthetic hotel

We have arrived late for check in at night since we have drove from Monemvasia and in our surprise the hotel upgrade our accommodation to Deluxe Double Room. The room was huge and even the balcony was bigger

Stunning view, amazing staff, excellent breakfast. One note: the vegan savoury options were rather limited and most of the bread selection had milk in it, but there were still plenty of vegan options

Very nice location and friendly staff. The food was also good at the restaurant and very decent prices. Nice pool, and right by the sea.

The staff were always very helpful, especially Christina on the front desk who organised us for restaurant suggestions, several taxis and a car hire when no other service providers were able to on short notice

My family and I stayed here for a week and it was an amazing place. The morning buffet was always well presented and generous portions

I don't know about the rooms as I haven't rented here. Hiwever, I was told it's a very luxurious hotel, but even tho it was really nice, I've been in hotels that felt way more luxury than this one
