Inexpensive hotels in Kamari

If you decide to come to Santorini, stay here! I came to stay here with a small group of friends in early July and it was incredible!! Amazing value for money, the included breakfast was delicious, it's so close to tons of bars and restaurants, it's right by the beach and Ancient Thira, and it was very easy to get to Fira and Oia via a cheap bus

But the best part of staying in this villa, without a doubt, were the hosts! Lefteris and Larissa went above and beyond what was expected and were so friendly and helpful throughout our trip

Thank you both for making us feel so welcome. You were both an absolute highlight of our trip!

There was so much more in Kamari than we were expecting

Excellent little piece of heaven. Lefteris and his employees are very caring and attentive. Breakfast is served with a smile and it's good. Rooms are clean and hotel is close to the action

Whether you want to hike a mountain which is right in front or the beach town which is 5 min away. It's a small hike but well worth it. Dad and I stayed here Sept 18-21st

Good location, we stayed there 2 nights, room was clean, we had towels and soap. They also provide towels for the beach if necessary. You walk 1mn and you have a bakery and can rent scooters

The best place to stay in Perissa very friendly staff very clean place very close to the beach everything is very close i really had very good time definitely recommend

3 more minutes walk and you are on the black beach. Transfers are also included which is great

Very good smoothies, good food, nice hosts and lovely cats 🐈😻! The sunbeds are free if you also eat in here and the beach is very nice

You also have a fresh water shower on the beach to wash the salt off your body, because the sea is very salty

Service was very slow (we were one table of 2) even though they were very nice. The food was nothing extraordinary. However the octopus was so dry i could not eat it and had to get a gyro instead

Great hotel with the kindest staff ! The pool was great and the hotel is very close to the beach. The hotel was clean and has q great location (the bus stop is just accross the street to go to Kamari, Fira or Oia).

Our room was very nice and clean (maisonette for 2 people) and it had a great view of the pool. The pool is very nice, although there are not many seats available, but it usually is less crowded in the afternoon

Beautiful hotel with unbelievable room rates. The room I stayed had mountain view and was overlooking the pool. Everything was clean, liked the blue decor and even their breakfast had great variety

Both hotels charge a similar rate, but you cannot compare them. Drossos is way superior in any aspect☺️

Excellent family run hotel, would recommend to all. Booked in short notice and had a great experience. Bus stop is round the corner to take you to fira(rest of the island) and perrisa beach

Only down point is the hotel is next to a main road so some traffic noise HOWEVER the noise really does diminish as it melts away into the back ground. Will love to go back tomorrow! Phil Bowen

The hotel is unique in it's style which is so well done - individual styling in each room & individual touches around

Beautiful little town. The lake area worth to visit.

Only complaint is the shower is tiny and you either have to squat to shower cause theres no shower head mount in any of the rooms and there is no shower curtains its just built into the room so you send up soaking everything if ur standing up

House is located in a very good place, swimming pool is very nice and people are very kind. There is the possibility to reach the airport or the port with their minibus (25€)

Bedroom was very small, bed too small and air condition doesn’t work properly. If you need just a place to leave your staff and travel the island, it’s good!

Isn't a terrible issue but apart from that its a acceptable place to stay with its own pool and driveway to park any rentals

Clean, calm and warm place. Staff is very welcoming. Very different and better than big touristic hotels.

Our stay at villa pelekanos was really great. There is free parking and the area is full of shops, restaurants and boulangeries. Also it was really cheap and clean!

5 km to the beach, 2 km to Fira. 750 m to the bakery, supermarket and bus stop. At dawn, crowing of roosters and neighing of horses can be heard. 2 - a great view from the balcony - on one side Fira, on the other the sea

It is 25 Minutes from the center by foot, 5 when you are driving - perfect, so you can chill out in a calm environment while also being at the touristic places fast. Supermarket, car rental or restaurants are near, too

The beds were great, lots of privacy, and having a fridge was very welcomed. Would definitely come back here when returning to Santorini! Only downside is that it is a bit of a walk to the main buses

Room and bathroom cleaning daily. Every few days, bed linen changed. Efficient air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Maria and her daughter perfectly care about the cleanliness of whole the guesthouse

It was the best hostel experience my friend and I have ever had. The hosts were extremely welcoming and drove us to the ferry afterwards (a service that we had no idea was included!)

I stayed in the “small” room, The view from the room is breathtaking, everything is clean, the jacuzzi with the caldera view is a dream, special thanks to Joanna for all the help, also Timmy and Crina

Not only was she so helpful with the Airbnb she also helped us with our transports throughout our holiday. There was eggs, bread, cake, tea, coffee, orange juice and water left for us for breakfast

The view is unbelievable and breathtaking. When 100’s of people are queueing all day just along the path for a photo of the blue domes, we had the perfect view of the domes right outside our door

Island Blue was exactly what is advertised. It was a beautiful house in the most stunning location. The host Malinder was brilliant looked after us before, during and after our stay

When you see videos of Santorini, it looks like they were taken from this place. Stunning views of the blue domes, caldera and sunset, and easy access to Main Street

Great location, comfortable bed, just perfect. You have a small refrigerator, coffe, 1 water bottle and plenty of sunrises and sunsets

The staff were always cleaning something, and the whole place was spotless. Bedding and towels changed every day. Towels provided if using the pool area. Breakfast was excellent, so much choice and well presented

Just a five minute walk to the sea front with loads of great restaurants, bars and shops and a supermarket opposite with an ATM. I rarely go back to the same place as it is a big world but I would go back here

They know all about the area and helped us on where to catch the buses and how to get to where we wanted to on the island. If/when we go back to Santorini, we will definitely stay here again

The food was amazing as were the breakfasts. The hotel is spotless and the rooms were lovely with everything you needed. Bed and pillows were comfy and I slept well which is unusual for me

All pool areas were well maintained with plenty of loungers. Really good choice at breakfast. We had two meals here at the pool bar and they were tasty, good portion size and good value

The hotel did accommodate us but at an additional charge (which was fine, as we would have paid the extra if the room was offered from TUI). The thing we noticed was the cleanliness

The milkshakes are tasty! The breakfast buffet is a broad spread from continental to country specialties, including plenty of fresh fruit (I did see a TripAdvisor review which said they only have tinned fruit – they did have tinned but that was in addition to, not instead of)

Plus lots of off menu things like eggs, coffees etc. I should also mention that breakfast is served until 11am which if you are experiencing jet lag or are just someone who is slow to get going in the morning is great

The hotel room towels are also replaced twice daily. - Staff are friendly, extremely helpful but not intrusive. They regularly come round all the pool areas to check if patrons need drinks, food or anything else

And sushi and lunchtime was AWESOME. One portion enough though! - This is a hotel that loves towels. There are plentiful beach towels around the pool areas, these are replenished regularly throughout the day

Also helped us book our car, restaurants and trips - I’m always dubious that we’ll be upsold or just using suppliers who are friends of the hotel - but no, everything was great and stress free

- On our trip we unfortunately had an incident that required a hospital trip for our child (nothing to do with the hotel, just the way it goes). The hotel staff couldn’t be more helpful

HOSPITALITY! All of the staff is welcoming and willing to help out at a beckon call. There was nothing we could throw at them that seemed too daunting. They helped set reservations, order ATV's, and confirm our travel

We stayed for one week at Cavo Bianco and had an excellent experience. Maria at the reception welcomed us warmly and professionally, making us feel at home from the very first moment

A very special thank you to the two receptionists (Maria & Kathryn) and the lovely bar lady(Nicole) — your warmth, attentiveness, and hospitality really made us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout our stay

There were guest slippers in the room, and there were clean towels outside the rooms at the pools. They arranged a transfer from the airport to the hotel and back. Everyone was nice, friendly and smiling

Casa Vitae was an amazing experience. The room were large and spacious, the hotel itself was clean and gorgeous but the part to me was the customer service. The staff was kind, extremely helpful and professional

Ahmed who worked the night shift at reception was amazing he gave my family lots of information on the recent COVID updates in Greece, was very friendly and had a great sense of humor. I was very happy with my decision

The breakfast service is fantastic food is delicious and also delivered to your room so it's nice looking out over your balcony. I will definitely recommend to everyone and I will be back again myself

Beautiful place, comfy and luxurious. The staff are service oriented. Breakfast in bed is my favorite. The owner was very sweet to send a bottle of wine in my room upon arrival

All the staff are so helpful, the pool area is fantastic and the jacuzzi on the balcony is just amazing I highly recommend this for sunset

Roland, the manager, and all the front desk staff were accommodating and helpful. Great information and suggestions. The location was ideal as it sits up on the hill thus providing lovely views and is very quiet

There was plenty to choose from at breakfast with a large selection of items to satisfy our appetites. We would definitely stay here again on another trip to Santorini

Great restaurants right on the water with authentic Greek dishes and FRESH seafood. Front desk staff were very helpful in helping with info and for getting us the best taxi driver

We had a great five-night stay. We had a car rental so the fact that the hotel is on a hill wasn't an issue for us

We had a lovely experience in the epavlis hotel,Starting by the hospitality of the reception going to the room the view at our room was amazing breakfast was delicious and it had variety for vegans as well one of the best part is the location only 3 minutes to go to the kamari beach,very helpful reception who explained the island and helping us renting a car or motorcycle or excursions as well

The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, there were several areas that needed improvement. The pools were okay – the water appeared green and murky, and the surrounding tiles looked neglected and in need of a deep clean

Other Notes: The pool bar is run by a genuinely friendly guy who makes an effort to connect with guests, which is a highlight. However, the drink prices are quite steep (€6 for a beer, €10 for a cocktail)

Iys around 10 minutes from the airport in a taxi that will set you back between €30 and €40. That said, it's only about 10–15 minutes on foot away from the lively Kamari beachfront, which is convenient

There is a minimart just five minutes away with much better value, and while you're allowed to bring your own drinks to the pool, it felt like this wasn’t particularly welcomed

So if you plan on sleeping in, expect to be woken up. Our room was cleaned at around 9. 30 GMT) there is no 'do not disturb' marker for the doors - this would go along way

Breakfast is only available from 8–10 AM, which, if you're travelling from the UK, feels like 6–8 AM – not ideal when you're on holiday. The maids start cleaning early

You are around 5/10 minute walk from the centre of Kamari and the beautiful beaches, but if you want to stay in the hotel, the pool is amazing and the cocktails even better! The rooms are great with a great view from the balcony and they are cleaned daily

I don't know which is better, the hotel or people working there! So clean and cute, def deserves more than 3 stars. People are so polite, friendly and helpful, I literally felt like home❤️

On top of that, the prices are lower than most places on the island, which makes this hotel even more special. The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the beach and close to everything you need

We were so overwhelmed in our stay, the staff were so kind, friendly and approachable. It is very near to kamari beach almost 2 minutes walk, then may resto, shops, car rentals, supermarket everywhere

We were told we couldn’t have a late check out, but surely we could have been told about this facility. We hired a car from the airport it’s cheaper, and we didn’t enjoy the bus to Fira so decided to hire once there

We stayed at the end of September as a family of 3 with a 2 year old. The hotel is pretty and a 5 minute walk to Kamari itself. There’s a chess set that kids can play with and also a kids area with swings and a slide

The hotel is really quaint, spotlessly clean, and the air con is off the scale good. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Special mention for Spiros at the pool bar

What to say about this place and not to exaggerate. This place is the gem! It's a small 30 rooms family hotel. The breakfast is great(they really try). Hotel is less then 5 min to the beach. People are so plesent and nice

Complimentary breakfast is great - includes many options for a vegetarian - Greek Salads, fresh fruits, fruit juice, coffee, breads, sandwiches, corn flakes, chocos, cheese, etc. View from the balcony is very nice

Ideal location a few minutes away from the beach and endless food & drink options. Will definitely return if we come back to Santorini and recommend Hotel Matina to family & friends!

Hotel Marina is a small family owned hotel with very friendly staff who are very passionate about the island and provides you with a lot of information about what you can do

The rooms are provided with airco, fridge and balcony. The hotel is quiet and provides everything you need. The beach, shops and supermarket is at walking distance

Wonderful place to spend time at Santorini. Location of hotel is just few steps from beach and plenty of restaurants (2 minutes walk). Around corner, you can find grocery store and also parking space

Just got home from enjoying a week at this lovely family run hotel. Fresh breakfast with lots of choices, close to restaurants and beach. Staff outstanding, from the friendly welcome to the cleaning of the rooms

The bus stop is close to the hotel and costs 2 euros pp each way. All in all we had the best time and I can't wait to go back and would definitely stay at Hotel Andrea's again. Thank you for an amazing stay xx

The gardens are beautiful, gorgeous spot to have your breakfast. Lots of homemade food at breakfast inc jams and cake which was delicious. Location is excellent, 5mins walk to beach and restaurants

Hotel is spotless, rooms very modern with fantastic air-con Huge rainshower with plenty of hot water and rooms cleaned daily. Lovely pool area which I swam in daily after a day at the beach

Breakfast ok but there are plenty of places serving breakfast or the bakery has wonderful filled croissants and lovely coffee. We would certainly recommend and return to this hotel again

We ate at Fanari restaurant in Fira, great food and you can keep your table overlooking the caldera to watch the sunset. Make sure you book in advance though as Fira gets very busy

Fantastic service in a well located hotel The hotel has been cleverly decorated and furnished and is well located very close to the beach and some shops and restaurants the staff couldn’t have been more helpful we also had an extensive breakfast if your looking for a budget hotel in a nice location this definitely hits the spot

Didn’t stay in apartments but my favourite bar. The staff are all friendly and accommodating and serve drinks at your sunbed on the beach, and the lunch was always well presented and tasty

The main resort where all the restaurants are is a 5-10 minute walk and there's plenty of choice for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner, as well as shops and supermarkets

Even during the final days of the season, the staff remained incredibly friendly and professional making it a truly enjoyable experience ☀️

I would also like to address the many reviews that can be found on the profile relating to the beach and the location of the hotel: - The whole of Kamari is located in the vicinity of the airport and it is natural that planes fly in close proximity

The hotel offers breakfast, which is excellent! The food selection is not huge, but how much food can be prepared for 20 guests? In my opinion, the choice is sufficient, the food is fresh, tasty and will satisfy everyone

The hotel offers direct access to the beach, has its own bar and restaurant, as well as a small but practical swimming pool with comfortable loungers and beds, which are available free of charge to hotel guests

The hotel itself is charming, with just 12 rooms and the location it is a true "Beach Boutique Hotel. " The hotel's rooms are renovated and cleaned daily, including replacing towels with new ones

This is not a feature specific to this hotel but to the whole village! I personally did not mind it at all and even added to the charm. The noise was not a nuisance in any way

It is an excellent hotel, love the service and the locale, the breakfast is rich and with plenty of choices! Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Santorini! Small place, but calm and beautiful, the staff are very helpful, they speak perfect English, and the reception is 24 hours available!

This hotel is just perfect- next to the beach and bus stop. We got out private Jacuzzi and we enjoy it a lot. The room was big and cleaned everyday. The most we liked the people there- very kind and helpful

Hotel is located 100 yards from beach down footpath, pool area is set off hotel across footpath but very quite area and lots of sun beds. Rooms cleaned every day and staff very friendly.

Great stay, comfortable rooms and a nice bathroom (for greece) breakfast was basic but it is more than adequate!! Staff were great!! Didn't get some names but Mario was wonderful, taking us to the airport on our departure

The view from the hotel is simply amazing. The beach is 2 minutes walking from the hotel. Whenever booking a room, book the room on first floor. The food of the restaurant is very good
