Inexpensive hotels in Kamari

If you decide to come to Santorini, stay here! I came to stay here with a small group of friends in early July and it was incredible!! Amazing value for money, the included breakfast was delicious, it's so close to tons of bars and restaurants, it's right by the beach and Ancient Thira, and it was very easy to get to Fira and Oia via a cheap bus

But the best part of staying in this villa, without a doubt, were the hosts! Lefteris and Larissa went above and beyond what was expected and were so friendly and helpful throughout our trip

Thank you both for making us feel so welcome. You were both an absolute highlight of our trip!

There was so much more in Kamari than we were expecting

Excellent little piece of heaven. Lefteris and his employees are very caring and attentive. Breakfast is served with a smile and it's good. Rooms are clean and hotel is close to the action

Whether you want to hike a mountain which is right in front or the beach town which is 5 min away. It's a small hike but well worth it. Dad and I stayed here Sept 18-21st

Good location, we stayed there 2 nights, room was clean, we had towels and soap. They also provide towels for the beach if necessary. You walk 1mn and you have a bakery and can rent scooters

The best place to stay in Perissa very friendly staff very clean place very close to the beach everything is very close i really had very good time definitely recommend

3 more minutes walk and you are on the black beach. Transfers are also included which is great

food was on point !!! very delicious 🤤 friendly staff! today was my 4th day in Perissa and this was the best restaurant so far !!! Thank you Chef !! please come to Belgium !!

Very good smoothies, good food, nice hosts and lovely cats 🐈😻! The sunbeds are free if you also eat in here and the beach is very nice

You also have a fresh water shower on the beach to wash the salt off your body, because the sea is very salty

Service was very slow (we were one table of 2) even though they were very nice. The food was nothing extraordinary. However the octopus was so dry i could not eat it and had to get a gyro instead

We had been recommended this area for seafood but this was maybe not the right place. There are plenty more options in front of the beach

The private balcony is so nice! Just sitting out there thinking, “I can’t believe I am finally here in Santorini, Greece!” The location is excellent! A 5-minute walk to the beach for sunrise and your choice of restaurants to dine at

Spiros and Hirako (owners of the Hotel) was very kind and helpful. Hotel has nice pool with mountain view. It is in a good location very close to beach and lots of restuarants and cafes. I would choose this place again

As I began my search for a hotel in Santorini, I read in a travel blog to do yourself a favor and choose a hotel outside of the overcrowded towns of Oia and Fira. Several travel blogs mentioned the area near Black Beach

Take their recommendations if you stay here! The hotel is beautiful, from the garden to the spectacular pool with a view of the stunning mountain. The rooms are absolutely spotless. The hotel is in a perfect location

A lovely hotel - just a few minutes from a beautiful beach, with many good bars and restaurants nearby. Spiros and Hiroko are very warm hosts and made us feel truly welcome. I thoroughly recommend a stay!

Great hotel with the kindest staff ! The pool was great and the hotel is very close to the beach. The hotel was clean and has q great location (the bus stop is just accross the street to go to Kamari, Fira or Oia).

Our room was very nice and clean (maisonette for 2 people) and it had a great view of the pool. The pool is very nice, although there are not many seats available, but it usually is less crowded in the afternoon

Beautiful hotel with unbelievable room rates. The room I stayed had mountain view and was overlooking the pool. Everything was clean, liked the blue decor and even their breakfast had great variety

Both hotels charge a similar rate, but you cannot compare them. Drossos is way superior in any aspect☺️

Excellent family run hotel, would recommend to all. Booked in short notice and had a great experience. Bus stop is round the corner to take you to fira(rest of the island) and perrisa beach

A very friendly, authentic, clean, economic, traditional and enjoyable experience! 15' walk from the beach and 5' walk from the bakery, S.Market, ATM, and bus-stop. I fully recommend it !

People are super nice, and it's ultra cheap. Very clean but very dated. Good value for what I paid compared to other hotels on the island.

The owner is so nice and helpful. The place has everything you need and good Wifi. The shower is a little uncomfortable cause is in the corner of the bathroom on top of everything but for the price is great

The location is just great next to the best bakery and really close to the bus stop. The beach and restaurants close by. The place is a deal and the owner deserves a special mention

Only down point is the hotel is next to a main road so some traffic noise HOWEVER the noise really does diminish as it melts away into the back ground. Will love to go back tomorrow! Phil Bowen

Maybe you should have woken up earlier!! Breakfast in the buffet was very tasty and a lot of selection even if you’re a fussy eater! The food for lunch that you order is so fresh annd so tasty, we would order nearly every day and couldn’t get enough

My wife and i have just spent 7 glorious days at the Aegean Plaza Hotel, All we can say is everything was great the staff,food,and the room (320) had the perfect view, The only thing that was not perfect the weather, We will be back

Excellent. Quiet. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely pool area. Prices good. Anything you want, you just ask for. So quiet more like an adult only hotel, but children there very well behaved and controlled by their parents.

I cannot express how wonderful all the staff are. Penny and Thanos looked after us so well during the day and then George at the bar in the evening. We have never been made to feel this special before

We stayed at the Aegean Plaza Hotel in Kamari from 28 June to 5 July 2024. What an amazing hotel, fabulous location, the hotel is beautiful, the rooms very spacious and have the most comfortable beds

Near Kamari Beach,we didnt expect late night opened resto with grilled seafoood dishes, which was great bec we always came home late from the stroll! Amazing, friendly staff in Hotel Makarios is a plus factor, the place is clean and have a calm vibe

Cute little room. Walking distance to beach. Free breakfast has good choices. The kamari beach is really nice with all restaurants and walk a long the beach is nice.

When I went to santorini this hotel was the best experience the staff was friendly and polite and they went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable ❤️ the rooms were spacious and clean very nicely decorated and there was free parking in front of the hotel

Lovely stay! Solo female & felt incredibly safe. The staff were so kind, comfy bed & room had everything I needed. Walking distance to the beach & a mini-mart. Beautiful few of the surrounding mountains.

The only thing that I would say it's a minus, is the fact that they don't offer a small laundry space for visitors to wash their clothes, when they stay for more than a week

Close to the beach and Kamari. The pool is nice and the breakfast too. Me and my sister stayed there for 3 weeks. Friendly staff ready to help you with everything

The family run business is extremely professional, they are extremely caring and loving of every guest. The rooms are extremely clean and calm. Beautiful view from the swimming pool and delicious food from the restaurant

The appartements are good and the swimmingpool and place around are very relaxing. They will do anything for you. Me and my husband are here for the sixt time

Wonderful place to spend time at Santorini. Location of hotel is just few steps from beach and plenty of restaurants (2 minutes walk). Around corner, you can find grocery store and also parking space

The location is in the middle of nowhere, however, kamari terminal is just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. I had a very relaxed stay in this hotel and I slept like a baby to the noises of the waves at night

We have recently returned from a fabulous holiday in Santorini , based at 28 Boutique hotel. All aspects of the hotel were first class. It is small , intimate and very friendly with outstanding service

Me and my husband had a fantastic honeymoon staying at hotel 28! The staff are so considerate and don't let you lift a finger whilst you're staying with them

The hotel staff are outstanding, you can tell they take pride in delivering a first class service. Eva and George on Reception were super helpful, polite, friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble

The rooms are spacious, everything good quality and condition and with everything you need. Pool and surrounding areas are kept beautifully. It is a beautiful, peaceful and relaxing place to stay

Eva George and the fantastic bar tender (sorry I didn't catch his name) are welcoming and go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible

My first solo holiday and I couldn't have found anywhere better to stay. I've stayed in Kamari three times but this was my first stay at Hotel 28 and I will definitely come back

The milkshakes are tasty! The breakfast buffet is a broad spread from continental to country specialties, including plenty of fresh fruit (I did see a TripAdvisor review which said they only have tinned fruit – they did have tinned but that was in addition to, not instead of)

Plus lots of off menu things like eggs, coffees etc. I should also mention that breakfast is served until 11am which if you are experiencing jet lag or are just someone who is slow to get going in the morning is great

The hotel room towels are also replaced twice daily. - Staff are friendly, extremely helpful but not intrusive. They regularly come round all the pool areas to check if patrons need drinks, food or anything else

And sushi and lunchtime was AWESOME. One portion enough though! - This is a hotel that loves towels. There are plentiful beach towels around the pool areas, these are replenished regularly throughout the day

Also helped us book our car, restaurants and trips - I’m always dubious that we’ll be upsold or just using suppliers who are friends of the hotel - but no, everything was great and stress free

- On our trip we unfortunately had an incident that required a hospital trip for our child (nothing to do with the hotel, just the way it goes). The hotel staff couldn’t be more helpful

HOSPITALITY! All of the staff is welcoming and willing to help out at a beckon call. There was nothing we could throw at them that seemed too daunting. They helped set reservations, order ATV's, and confirm our travel

Grade A+ service! We only had a chance to eat breakfast at Cavo Bianco. Their breakfast buffet was great! We stayed for five days and each morning there was at least two or three different items than before

Although the temperature of the pool is quite chilly! The bar is okay, but the drinks we ordered were a bit too strong in alcohol! But the room was super nice, clean, bed very comfortable and shower very spacious!

The staff and the welcoming were amazing. Jonas from the front office offered us a very nice recommendations and help The room is very nice, the location is awesome. Everything about the hotel is fabulous.

Extra big room recently renovated with airy and bright spaces. There is a nice pool which turned out to be the best way to chill out after a day around the island

Forget all the bad reviews about this place and listen to this. This hotel is perfectly positioned close to the beach, restaurants, pharmacies, rentals, supermarkets etc The staff are beyond helpful and super friendly

This beach is a lot more touristy than Perissa Beach on the other side of the mountain, however this was my favorite beach

I had a 10 days journey in greece. Despite its location is not the best one, it’s 10 mns walk max for the beach and 5 for the bus station. Should you go there, I recommend their snack

The receptionist/concierge/bar lady - Irene (she was all in one) was excellent. She was very helpful in helping us understand how to get around and where to go

Gyros and club sandwiches are super, much more cheaper than the tourist restaurants close to the beach. The girl at the reception desk is also having a magic recipe for their home made lemonade

I would definitely recommend to stay here, the only struggle is the hotel is situated on top of a steep hill so although it's only a 10 min walk to the beach and bars and restaurants, it's not much fun coming back up the hill

My 2nd stay in this hotel was June 2019 and it is a lovely place to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very good and the gardens are gorgeous.

Perfect location and well suited for our needs. The staffs were lovely, polite and always happy to help. Room was clean but very basic, we got a bottle of wine and lovely note from staff for my birthday

Really nice location, just 5 minutes to walk from the beach also if the roads are completely without lights and in the night is too dark walking around there

I feel the hotel is not being used to it’s full potential

Its only a B & B but hey only 5mins or less walk around the corner you will find the beach area and then be spoilt for choice as you wander along the front with it's never ending choice of restaurants, taverners, bars etc enjoy have a great time

I loved just sitting on the balcony reading. The staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful and they keep the hotel really clean

We stayed at this hotel after our flight was cancelled. What a nice surprise this hotel was! We arrived tired after a long wait at the airport and were immediately greeted by a smiling and friendly staff

Our rooms were small but we managed- the whole idea is to only be in there for sleeping if your on vacation in Santorini. Highly recommend- not too far from the strip but just far enough
