Kamari Beach Hotel

If you want a hotel with a pool and the beach on its doorstep then this is the one for you. Yes rooms are basic but all you do is sleep and shower in there! For us having been here for the second time it is about the people and staff. This hotel is what it is down to the staff who work tirelessly. I’d like to say it’s all the staff, it isn’t! The hardest worker I have ever seen in a hotel is Phoebe who literally is flat out serving guests around the pool. She is polite, efficient and most of all the perfect hostess. Even when she is busy she has time to chat to you, for is this is so important as it personalises your experience. If only all staff did that. Nothing was too much trouble for her. My second shout out is to Luka the bar manager. His cocktails are the best we had on the island, and we had a lot!! This hotel needs more Phoebe and Luka’s.

Kamari Beach was such an incredible and memorable place to stay. We had a large group, and they went out of their way to accommodate us, including having the luggage boys doing Spider-Man level parkour to assist us with all of our bags, it was such an above and beyond service provided! Every single staff was there to support us with a smile. The food options and pool were also incredible and magnificent. Hope to return to Kamari Beach in the not too distant future! Thank you!

i will start with probably the only negative. We had a very late flight, were unable to keep our room which is fine, however there was nowhere to shower and tnere were quite a few people trying to get washed at one sink. Now onto the positive. Very helpful young man on reception who carried our luggage. Basic but clean rooms. cleaned every day with clean towels provided. excellent location close to everything. breakfast ok, plenty of choice but no variation.pool bar food was nice but portions are huge. could be smaller and therefore cheaper. special shout out to our lovely server Phoebe! All in all our stay was lovely and Santorini is beatiful.

We recently stayed for week at Kamari Beach as a group of 6 and had the best holiday. Hotel is in a prime location with lots of shops, bars and restaurants on the door step. The rooms were very basic, but had everything you needed (except a kettle, so if you like a hot drink in the morning I'd pack a travel one). Staff were all very polite and helpful, with a special shout out to Phoebe who worked her socks off round the pool but always had time for a chat.

Perfectly located beachfront hotel,Easy access to everything Kamari has to offer and theres plenty !. Somewhat surprised to read in the comments about the staff , we found them really friendly and welcoming, ever so wiling to help in a prompt and friendly way. The hotel is a quaint maze of rooms , kept spotlessly clean, as is the pool area. The large pool is a standout feature, our courtyard view room was recently decorated, and spacious enough , yes the bathroom was a bit small , especially the shower , but ...its Greece ! Breakfast was a large choice with something for everyone and was very good value again attendted to by the hardworking staff who kept things ticking over. To sum up ..if you have seen this hotel , book it ! you will not be dissapointed .

Big shout out to Phoebe and Luca who were both amazing, a credit to the hotel! They made our stay very enjoyable and were great to be around. Great customer service from Phoebe, always! And Luca with his special cocktail skills! We miss you already! 😘 I’ve seen a few negative reviews about the hotel rooms, I believe they all are different shapes and sizes. Ours was perfect, great sea view room, nice big comfy bed, fridge and plenty of storage space. (We emailed the hotel and requested a sea view room) Yes the showers are very tiny!! But do the job. If you’re looking for luxury then maybe this isn’t for you. But if you’re like me and just want something simple as you’re not going to be in your room all the time then this place is perfect! Great location and close to everything you could need! Beach was also lovely, we didn’t have sea shoes but we managed and only spent a couple of hours by the beach. If your a beach person and going to be there most days. Then I recommend sea shoes, plenty of shops that sell them there. The sunbeds were also comfortable and treat yourself to a massage on the beach like we did. It was lovely. Great selection of bars and places to eat! Our favourites were captains corner, black stone and Elias grill. They are very popular! Albatross beach bar was a very lovely setting with chilling live music on every night! There’s so many to choose from! We hired a quad bike for a day and explored the island which I highly recommend, it is worth doing and you can go to so many different places, 45 euros for 24 hours, we went to all the prime locations. Pygros is a must! It’s beautiful there, perfect for sunsets, cute little village with shops and bars. Rita bar was our favourite! It is quiet and peaceful, it’s a mini oia in my opinion. We done a sunset boat tour through faros tours which again is a must! On our last few days Kamari itself seems to be getting a lot busier as it’s getting to that time of year but we had a perfect stay. I could say so much more! But great location and loved every second! Enjoy! ☺️

Beautiful hotel with lovely staff. Very impressed when we arrived . Quaint Greek hotel , small reception area but very polite and helpful staff. Don’t forget the tax of €5 per day. Shown to room by staff who carried our bags. Excellent air con , very clean and cute room. Free safe. We travel all the time and getting a free safe is very unusual. Pool clean and deep. Sunbed and parasols but not enough for all guests. If there is no room you can go down to the private beach and use the free sunbed and umbrellas. Breakfast lovely , hot and varied, evening meal was ok, little choice but good enough. I would return.
