I visited this hotel with my girlfriend this October. We wanted something to help us relax and unwind, which is exactly what we got since it wasn't too crowded at the time we went. a really fine hotel. the rooms are lovely we were with are adult daughter and had a room with two large bedrooms and a large bathroom. there was a big balcony with side sea view. the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. right on the beach with entertainment every evening.... Great location, clean rooms, food ok. Staff are brilliant, but a special shout to Daniela who was working the beach bar. What a beautiful, hard working, respectful engaging young lady who deserves the recognition for her efforts. She made our holiday. Good holiday but we have had money stolen from the room by the cleaners. We reported it to the hotel reception and got no resolution. The roof top bar had amazing views and the location was right on the sea front.

Amazing holiday overall. Hotel is brilliant with amazing food every morning, afternoon and evening! (Whenever you want really if all inclusive). Bedrooms are clean, tidy and what you need. Staff are brilliant, always so helpful and friendly. Location is ON on the beach! From pool to the sea will take you 20 seconds to walk. Activities are all great and live music each night. Will be returning!

The hotel is located in a place where there are other taverns and hotels nearby, 5 minutes from the sea, the hotel charges too high prices for full board, the food is practically the same all the time, very little choice for children and children in this hotel are obviously the basis, not every child eats chips and pasta, just like an adult does not like English cuisine or pizza, the cleaning service...

First of all this is not a 5 star hotel. Therefore the lower rating. Very friendly staff. Nice and clean, apart of the overflowing pool ashtrays. The food and buffet choice was not that great. We highly recommend this hotel. We spent a week stay here 3.6.-10.6. and we liked it very much. The hotel complex is divided into two parts - the main part, which includes the reception, hotel lobby, two main pools, restaurant and bars. Amazing accomodation! We had some wonderfull days at Caravel Suites; the rooms are very modern and cleaned everyday (we had room 812 with our own, large pool and seasight; paradise!) staff was always very friendly and helpfull, the food at the buffet was excellent (at least that is what our clothes say…haha!). We had the best vacation ever and would love to return one day, for sure :). Good cocktails...

Outstanding hotel in the area of Planos on the island of Zante, management and staff excellent the food and drink we would give 9/10. Be aware of the prices on the room upgrade but overall thoroughly enjoyed the 2 weeks. We definitely would like to go back

Amazing 18+ hotel. I can’t see anything negative. Our holiday was perfect. Nice room, two pools with comfy sunbeds and the hotel is directly on the beach. You can choose sandy beach or one with stones (where you can see many kinds of fish).

Amazing hotel. Facilities are top of the range. We had a massage at the spa which was amazing. The best bit is the staff who can't do enough for you! Truly an amazing holiday that I would recommend to anybody. 5 star!

Hotel for young people,otryvayas after the school year.Like the town itself.Full of bars and Nightclubs.The beach by the way not impressed at all!But if you take a car,(not cheap in this town)you can see a lot of fabulous beaches and fantastic views!!!The nature of the island is very rich!

All super rested now) I liked everything, the main thing is not to linger on the spot, and to try everything. To go sailing along the coast to visit all of either the mountains or on the car, a lot of beautiful places!

If you know what to expect you won't get disappointed. The rooms are old and not worth it. But at least you get room service and all you can eat buffet (if you provided to get the full/half board). The side view room have a good view of the beach and the small islands. I'd say if you find cheaper places go anywhere else. Don't expect a 4 star hotel.

The hotel staff are so friendly. We had a very comfortable stay. There isn’t much choice of food for breakfast and evening meal. However there are plenty of restaurants near by and the locals are so welcoming. Hotel in great location onto the sea front. Room was also clean.

Astir plainly offers what you pay for. The facility has seen its better days, but that's pretty much its only/main con. We stayed for one week and it was really nice. The furniture is a bit old, it's true, but it was no problem at all. The service was great, the personalle was helpufull and nice, we had good and quality food, with options for every taste. The location, outstanding, right on the beach. Our own hotel were very mean and we had to check out at the morning while the transfer left at night! So this hotel let us pay for only a lunch buffet and then we could spend the whole day by this pool, but things and eat the buffet. Really nice staff who helped us

We were expecting to come for a relaxed stay, unfortunately due to quite some guests, who refused to behave and keep silent in the night time, we were leaving disappointed and tired.
