We were expecting to come for a relaxed stay, unfortunately due to quite some guests, who refused to behave and keep silent in the night time, we were leaving disappointed and tired. We had a delightful stay. The food was diverse and delicious. The rooms were clean, well-equipped, spacious, and comfortable. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The only downside was the distance between the hotel and the beach, particularly since there is no beach bar and you have to buy drinks at the market or bring them with you. Additionally, the hotel provided only one water...

If you know what to expect you won't get disappointed. The rooms are old and not worth it. But at least you get room service and all you can eat buffet (if you provided to get the full/half board). The side view room have a good view of the beach and the small islands. I'd say if you find cheaper places go anywhere else. Don't expect a 4 star hotel.

The location was a big plus, right on the beach. The minus - the water and beach were dirty there, too many small boats, some oil split... The hotel staff are so friendly. We had a very comfortable stay. There isn’t much choice of food for breakfast and evening meal. However there are plenty of restaurants near by and the locals are so welcoming. Hotel in great location onto the sea front. Room was also clean.

Astir plainly offers what you pay for. The facility has seen its better days, but that's pretty much its only/main con. Everything is clean (no funky smells, or heavy covering odors), things are maintained, the personnel is kind and willing to help, the food is good (a bit wider choice of fresh fruit would help). We stayed for one week and it was really nice. The furniture is a bit old, it's true, but it was no problem at all. The service was great, the personalle was helpufull and nice, we had good and quality food, with options for every taste. The location, outstanding, right on the beach. It was also very clean, towels were changed daily. It definitely deserves at last 4.2.

Our own hotel were very mean and we had to check out at the morning while the transfer left at night! So this hotel let us pay for only a lunch buffet and then we could spend the whole day by this pool, but things and eat the buffet. Really nice staff who helped us

Fantastic 4-night stay. Great location away from 'the strip', just a 10 min walk to Laganas Beach. We came here on a girls holiday, we were aware it’s a family hotel however we were looking a resort which was relaxed during the day. The staff were so lovely and the food was amazing , there is three pools which means it is never overly crowded or busy. I can't comment on other rooms but the superior one I had was top notch and I can't complain. Hotel is a brilliant set up with different sections of pools for adults, families and superior rooms. Food is decent and plenty of it and a good selection. Staff were friendly and efficient and the hotel was absolutely spotless. If I am ever returning to laganas I will definitely return to the margarita.
