Best Hotels in Malia

Great Place, excellent rooms, quite a good service and tasty food! The approach of the hotel to the menu is unusual as if you have all inclusive, you still have to pay for the beverages and getting a glass of water or a coffee is quite expensive, so we had to have parties separately in our rooms… however the location is great and my family enjoyed swimming in the sea 🌊 and Greece 🇬🇷 is proudly Orthodox...

So many facilities and everything is absolutely spotless. The staff are wonderful and so friendly. The breakfast is probably the best I’ve ever had in a hotel

But what stood out most, were the staff! At breakfast, Maria and Sofia would always greet us with a warm smile and such genuine hospitality - they truly started our day off right! For lunch, we were served by Evalina and Aida - who were so incredibly kind, helpful, and generous to us and our little boys

Location is brilliant too and loads of restaurants nearby that serve great food

The only good dinner we had was at La Oliva, the à la carte option

To add to the chaos, the restaurants and bars sit right next to each other, blasting different music at the same time – imagine trying to enjoy your meal while stuck between two competing DJs

Every show is in english which is good but the announcement is ONLY in german. Yesterday during Greek live music and dances everything was explain in german and I didn't know what this would be about

Very decent hotel; some rooms/apartments are better than others. Our hotel room (main building) was a bit small/dated. Nothing like the pictures :) Also bathroom was old. Safe for valuables costs EUR 4 per day

that’s really beyond what you would expect from a place like this! Especially since it’s ALL inclusive. apparently that doesn’t apply to the safe. Would have loved to see a coffee maker in the room

Pools were really nice; plenty of space, also the beach side is perfect. Very close, plenty of beds, bar right next to the beach - perfect

In my opinion entertainment team should speak, explain rules and make announcements also in english so everybody can understand. FOR PEOPLE WHO DO NOT SPEAK GERMAN IT IS SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!!

Most of guests in this hotel are from Germany so I understand animation team speak german but they also should speak and explain everything in english so everybody can understand what to do

One particular incident really stood out: I accidentally knocked over a glass by the pool—an honest mistake—and was immediately charged for it without so much as a conversation or warning. No understanding, just a bill

To make matters worse, I was charged an outrageous fee for a tiny makeup mark on a towel—something that any decent hotel would consider normal wear and tear. Some* of the staff were rude and unhelpful

Lunch and dinner again were very enjoyable and had a variety of foods including pies, pizza, pasta, chicken dishes and cakes, however my partner and I both agreed that there needs to be more ‘ picky bits of food ‘ such as easy food including burgers, variety of pizzas, sausages and sausage rolls and more

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was incredibly disappointing. While the location seemed promising, the experience was overshadowed by hidden fees and poor customer service

Everybody is so warm friendly - and beyond efficient. This is customer service at its best. In particular the family really want to know you and ensure your happiness

location good let's itself down with zero entertainment for the adults and the 2 pools not 3 are not large however the low-level large pool was great. could not have stayed here with a family of 4

plus when I said give me all inclusive as compensation you lost the plot we don't drink alcohol. 1 beer and 1 wine 3 local spirits that would have been shocking at 480 euro. all I wanted was post mix coca cola

could not understand at half board why I was ushered away from the bar too buy real bottles of cola at 2 euro you only wanted to sell post mix rubbish. dont let yourselves down doing that it's tacky

negative the positives I pointed out deflected the 1 member of staff that harassed us. plus covid could of shut you down. i was being helpful telling you. you went on that you never had a complaint

i don't want to criticise too much but I hope they read this and take on board there are much better around them and next time in malia stalls area we will be booking a proper 4 star Hotel

Regarding the terrible covid incident that you said you would talk too me in 48 hours. never did you and I would have told you what I'm writing here

What an amazing place so friendly, immaculate, comfy beds, hot showers, delicious cocktails, beautiful decor the list is endless. Giannis & Illiana are so welcoming from the minute you arrive until you have to leave

We had a great time at these studios, they are kept very clean with such lovely hosts who can’t do enough for you. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a chilled holiday 😎

The beach and a couple of restaurants are a short walk away and the old town is so nice with lovely restaurants, it’s about a 30 min walk and 10euros in a taxi back

Olympus also has a cafee/bar with amazing drinks :) Olympus studios is pet friendly place, there are two sweet dogs there which are super nice ! Overall i would rate my experience with Ilyana and Giannis 11/10 - we really enjoyed our time spent there, maybe some day we will come back 😃

Hosts - Ilyana and Giannis went above and beyond so we could enjoy our vacation with no worries. They were super nice, we spent alot of time talking together. Room was amazing - clean, cozy and well equiped

Within walking distance of the center, but still nice and quiet. Cleaning is done 6 days a week. Simple, but good bar for an afternoon snack

If you don't want loud pounding music playing 24/7, this is the best hotel i'd recommend in Malia! Would definitely go back!

Best place i've stayed in in a long time. Made my first holiday alone with my friends that much better

About a 5 minute walk to the shop which is fine, although quite difficult in the midday sun- would suggest going for the daily shopping run, or in our case the daily pre-lash of drinks run, until late evening

The pool is lovely, was very quiet so was almost like having a private pool to ourselves. Very quiet surroundings, made our holiday nice and relaxing during the day

Food at the pool bar is very well priced, the workers are very friendly although the security guard didn't appreciate us coming home at 6am and making loud noises

Great atmosphere, nice apartment and everything clean 3 friends and I visited the Sunshine Boutique Hotel in Malia, Crete for 9 days in September. Both the nightly check-in and the transfer from the airport went smoothly

The staff was always friendly and eager to take care of all the guests' concerns. At breakfast everyone finds something, for us as party vacationers it was only a little bit early until half past ten

If you don't feel like going to the sea, the pool offers everything you need in the summer with numerous sunbeds and a varied assortment at the bar. In conclusion, we can highly recommend the hotel

Nevertheless, you can still party well and have a nice chat with the night watchman Marius when you get back to the hotel. He is available all night and can give you one or two helpful tips

We have been there in July 2021. The rooms were awesome and absolutely spotless clean! The hosts were very nice and helpful. We've left everything out to dry, nothing was missing or stolen

The party mile is within 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel. However, it must be said that the nightlife in September is somewhat quieter and already the first clubs have closed
