The location is great, and the food is of very good quality. However, one of the team members, Elina (the manager), was extremely rude and aggressive. At 11:30 AM, she kicked our room door and yelled at us, saying, “Why are you still here? It’s 30 minutes past 11!” This happened even though we were completely packed and ready to leave the room—and she could clearly see that. Immediately afterward, she started shouting at the housekeeper as well. Her behavior was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. My son is only 12 months old, and as any parent knows, it’s not always possible to be perfectly on time with a baby. A little understanding and basic courtesy would have gone a long way. She needs to learn how to treat both guests and staff with respect.

Having read reviews prior to going I was a bit anxious about staying here, however myself, my husband and two of our children 12 & 16 have just had a great holiday at Kipriotis Aqualand. The room- we booked through Jet2 our room was described as a one bedroom family room, it was huge, it had two rooms one that was part of "the kitchen" and another double room and a huge double balcony. They have a small fridge, a hob and sink. We were in block 900 which wasn't up the huge hill thankfully but if we were there's a lovely, helpful, happy man called Yannis who will take you up and down in his mini bus- he will also take you down (and back up) the steep hill to the beach. Room was cleaned daily- spotless, clean towels daily by our lovely cleaner very friendly, always had a smile. The pools- The main pool is where the entertainment is through the day, Zumba, aqua aerobics, games, darts.... plenty. Aqualand pools lots of fun, lots of slides, younger kids area again so much fun and there's a pool bar there, you can get sanwiches, fruit salad and yoghurt from at certain times. The pools did turn lighter coloured swimwear greeny/yellow and my daughter had green legs with certain suncream which washed off easily with soap. It was apparently to do with the fresh water pools and the chemicals the use to keep it clean mixed with suncream and oils etc. We seen the pool chemical levels being checked so I dont think there was anything as such wrong with this just wasnt pleasant to look at especially in the main pool where one wall is higher than the pool water level making a green line across the pool wall. The lifeguards- in particular Yannis, he was brilliant especially with our son, he remembered his name every day and always spoke, cheered him on when doing throwing the ball competitions with his dad in the pool- he wasn't "whistle happy" unlike his colleague who was always on his phone and when he wasn't he was blowing his whistle, for things that had been happening for 30 mins right infront of him, whilst he was concentrating on his phone. The food- good, usual all inclusive food, remember this is a 3 star hotel don't expect Michelin! There was always something to eat, our children can be fussy but always managed to find something, there's chips, pizza and pasta every night as well as a huge variety of main dishes and puddings. My husband enjoyed the meats that were cooked and served infront by the chefs. The Chefs were lovely and very keen to please. If anyone needed specific food made they would happily do this. Just let them know. The waiting staff- were fantastic, constantly busy clearing and cleaning tables, couldnt do enough for you. Happy to help with anything if we asked- always greeting us with a smile could not fault any of them the whole waiting staff were great special mentions for Jun, Christina and the wonderful Dimitra and Makis- who always went above and beyond, happy to help and happy to accomodate. Our bus transfer back to airpo

We arrived with high hopes, but were immediately taken aback — to the point we considered leaving. The hotel is extremely basic, which we should have expected for the price, but the initial impression was still a shock. That said, the rooms were clean and quiet, which helped us settle in. The aquapark pool is open from 10am to 6pm, but if you want a sunbed in the shade, be prepared to claim it early. Sunbeds themselves were flimsy and often collapsed if you sat the wrong way. The uphill walk to the rooms meant we had to carry everything we needed for the day — not ideal with a pram, towels, and inflatables. Drinks were served in cheap plastic cups, and there was no bottled water available. The water from the bar tasted stale and unpleasant. Snacks were only offered twice a day — a small batch of sandwiches and a few fruit bowls. Once they were gone, that was it. Hotel towels required a €10 deposit, which most guests didn’t bother with. On the plus side, we took a taxi from reception to the old town for €10 (much better than the €25 minibus option). The harbour and old town were lovely — definitely worth a visit. We also booked a 3-island boat tour through Get Your Guide, which was a highlight of the trip — great value and a fantastic day out. Overall, the kids had a great time — as kids do — but from an adult perspective, there were too many compromises. We wouldn’t return, and it certainly didn’t feel like a 4-star experience.

This isn't a bad hotel....it's just not a good hotel either. I booked a holiday for my family (kids 15 & 12) with Jet2, knowing it was a 3 star on Jet2's website - so wasn't expecting to walk into a 5 star etc, and based on the back of the reviews on Tripadvisor, I thought it looked amazing. The reality was though, the hotel isn't a very good 3 star and the reason it has so many good reviews is that the Manager of the hotel makes the guy who runs the entertainment team go round and ask folk to scan a QR code on the day they are leaving, telling customers it comes back on him if they get a bad score. That's why if you look through the reviews the guy is in a selfie with everyone. There are so many frustrating things that don't need to be happening at Kipriotis Aqualand that would make it a lot better. At least if you know these things you can make your own mind up. I have tried to put some suggestions in for the hotel too so it's constructive. We checked in around 1am and thought we could go to the restaurant for some food as we usually do at an All Inclusive late at night. We were instead told everything was closed and were given a room temperature brown bread roll on ham in cling film each. I asked if there was a juice machine or something for the kids and was told there was 1 bottle of water in the room. When we got to the room we found the warm water in the fridge (which was turned off due to the electricity being off). Even though Jet2 classed the hotel as a 3 star, the hotel class themselves as a 4 star so you will need to pay 10 Euro for each night you are there in tourist tax The rooms are very dated and not the ones they show you on the website which look fairly new. Very 70's decor with brown and cream everywhere. It was a big enough room we had but had to ask for a deep clean as the place was filthy. Layers of dust and dirt on the bed frame, brown smears on the mattress, a lot of dead bugs in the runner for the balcony door (on the inside) and finding dirt and even a toenail down the side of the cupboard The kettle had a yellow liquid in it so wasn't used and there was no plug anywhere near it to put it on anyway The bathroom was big enough but had to crouch for a shower and the nasty cream shower curtain wasn't great. The hotel has an ant problem and we had to get the maids in a few times as there were ants in the bedroom. Friends we had at the hotel had them coming out of the taps in the bathroom. I get some guests may not have this issue but it's bad for those who do. Food was basic and very repetitive. Pork every single day, burgers with no buns, weird things like peas and corn next to the porridge at breakfast. Just felt a bit random. Breakfast was ok, fruit options were excellent and very fresh too. Lunch wasn't great at all, felt like the leftovers from the previous days dinner. Dinner was ok, nothing special and nothing really stood out as 'really good'. This is the only hotel I have ever been to on an All Inclusive

We visited between 28th April - 5th may and had a brilliant time. The entertainment especially was great, nacho and his crew made a big different for my son kason who became a part of the crew by the end of the week. He had so much fun and wouldn’t have had as much fun without nacho and his entertainment crew. Lots of great fun things to do around the island too.
