The food was nothing short of amazing, with a wide variety of options that catered to all tastes. Whether we were enjoying a casual meal at one of the takeaway restaurants or indulging in a sweet treat from the pastry corner, we were always delighted by the quality and flavor.
The hotel's location is perfect, just a short 5-minute walk to a beautiful Blue Flag-awarded beach. We loved having the option to either take the hotel’s beach hopper or enjoy a refreshing walk to the crystal-clear pebble beach.
Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated in a Mediterranean style, offering an impressive view of the Aegean Sea. The shared pools were a fantastic addition, providing a relaxing atmosphere to unwind after a day of exploring.
With numerous recreational activities available, including seawater swimming pools, water slides, and sports facilities like beach volleyball and tennis, there was never a dull moment.
Overall, Mitsis Family Village is the perfect destination for a relaxing getaway, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and enjoyable stay in Kos.
We look forward to returning to this wonderful hotel in the future!
The rooms are outdated but still pleasant, pillows are very comfy. Our TV didn’t work which on a nighttime a bit of white noise is nice but it wasn’t missed.
The views are amazing, but the location is difficult for people like us. Luckily you can walk into Kardamena or get a bus.
The food wasn’t the best, the fries were so tasty and a great idea with pizza on the beach but other than that, pretty basic. The food and isolation of the hotel were a downfall but that’s because we aren’t the kind of couple that enjoys just “all inclusive”. Each to their own.
We both thank the staff for their hard work and kindness, you may think that they’re just doing their job but they all go above and beyond for you.
We especially loved the atmosphere and the cleanliness.
There are some suggestions to improve:
- the food needs to be titled
- water dispensers separate from the bar or even bottles / otherwise long waiting for just water
- exclude paper cups
- hand out some information about program and make sure to update the app (we came down to the beach to have Pizza assuming it closes at 6pm but we were told it closes at 4pm)
- have kids animators in the club who speak additional languages not just English and German
