Went to Sovereign beach hotel in July and had an amazing experience everything was so clean and on point. All staff were so kind and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and they helped with all enquiries to the best of their ability, the reception staff Kosta and Alexandra was very helpful and the bar staff Sam and Ken were really friendly and they treated guests like their friends meaning that they could have a laugh with you while also being very polite and efficient. Chico and Pakito which were the entertainment staff were full of joy and always upbeat. Looking to book here again because of how nice the hotel and staff are.

Just returned from an amazing week at the Sovereign Beach Hotel. We were so happy with everything, all rooms were clean and tidy. We had a swim up room which was amazing. Alexandra was so helpful on reception and morning was too much trouble, the same with Kosta. Just a small walk down to the beach then a 10 min walk into Kardamena. Was lovely. Sam from the bar worked so hard and always had a smile on his face. He was so friendly and is a credit to the hotel. Chico from the entertainment team again was friendly and got everyone up and involved. All the teams were great. I would definitely recommend the hotel to family and friend and will definitely book again xxx Thank you for an amazing experience xx

best hotel, best place on the kos, we love this places, in this hotel is very good food and staffs, thera are animation programs and night showtime, pool is good, sea is very very very clear, hotel room is clear, and we were here for 4 time and we will come back next year

Having recently returned from a holiday with a group of friends to Sovereign Beach Hotel, Kos, we wanted to share our very positive experience. Firstly the Reception staff were extremely helpful and polite, particularly Kayt who was absolutely amazing, going above and beyond to make our stay special, thank you. Also Tania the Dining Room Manager and her staff who organised a wonderful birthday celebration for one of our party celebrating a ‘special birthday’ with lovely table decorations, wine and cake. Thank you so much. Our hotel rooms were spacious and clean, although the routine for cleaning seemed a little inconsistent, however staff were polite and helpful. During our stay, a number of our party became unwell with a possible stomach virus. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. Thank you. The hotel is in a very pleasant location, overlooking the sea and very close to the beach. However some of the sunbeds, were a little dated and shabby and areas of the beach were often a little dirty and black. The pool area was very pleasant and lively, but as is often the case, not enough sunbeds were available. A negative of the holiday was the Tourist Tax which was charged as a 5 star Hotel despite being classed as a 4 Star Hotel by our Tour Operator, but we appreciate this is not in the hands of the hotel. Overall we had an excellent holiday and would return.

What a special hotel this is. From arriving late at night staff was fab making sure we had something to eat and drink. Rooms very clean tea coffee bottled water everyday left in room. Cleaners do an excellent job. Food was excellent always found something I loved restaurant staff fab. Pool area fantastic pool bar and staff top notch fresh crepes yum. Beach taverna with freshly made burgers gyros hotdogs all excellent and entertainment team fantastic job in fact all staff go above and beyond. 10 nights was not enough and I can’t wait to return to this gem of a hotel I came 2 years ago and will definitely be coming again

Hotel was spacious, clean and welcoming. Arrived late due to flight delay, receptionist was efficient and friendly. Provided food and drinks in the restaurant on arrival even though the restaurant had been closed for 2 and a half hours. Fantastic surprise as we were given a room upgrade with swim up pool. Room was modern, clean and had a large patio area. Swim up pool was large and very clean and we made use of it everyday. Food was varied and of good quality in the buffet restaurant. There was a creative range of delicious desserts. Recommend the gyros at the taverna. Bar staff at both pool and main bar area are very friendly and make brilliant cocktails ! Restaurant staff are very polite and hard-working always clearing empty plates within a minute. Ruchell in particular was excellent and always smiling ! Cleaners did an excellent job every day. Animation team were absolutely incredible. In particular Chico and Carlo who are both exceptional at their jobs with lots of energy and enthusiasm at all times. The evening shows are all of good quality and entertaining. Excellent stay all round we will be back!

We booked a 7 night stay at this hotel , it was sold as a 5 star hotel to us . We had to pay cash on arrival 105 euros for it being classed as a 5 star hotel . After arrival we were shown to our room. On inspection the room was dated and old in style , the bathroom was old with mould in the bath silicone and mould around the window seal. The bath tiles had old water/ limescale all over them. No bathroom cleaning products used on them clearly . We had brown water coming out of the taps on the 3rd day , and the smell of sewage was daily . The staff were all excellent that is the only positive i can give this hotel . Onto the food , this was an even bigger issue , the daily food was the poorest qualty i have ever tasted on any holiday hotel booking we have made. We had to eat out 5 times after the second day due to this. And we were on a fully inclusive booking here. This hotel is being mis- sold as a 5 star hotel. In our opinion snd others we met on the coach back to the airport , many stated they would never return , the general opinion was we were conned and we did not experience anything 5 star , more like 2 star treatment . The staff were the only positive i have to repeat this . But we did not pay for just lovely staff we paid for a 5 star experience, which includes fresh edible food daily , and clean maintaned rooms. We experienced neither . Id not recommemd this hotel to anybody wanting a 5 star holiday . We are both upset .and angry as wanted to do very little and not go out daily in search of fresh decent food . Such a huge dissapointed .

great place to relax and recharge. we were looked after at a high level. fantastic service and support from hotel staff, restaurant and bar staff. The animation team deserves special words of appreciation - Ben, Chico, Carlos. A great animation program varied, cheerful and active, with great sensitivity and without imposing. Together they were able to get almost the entire hotel to have fun together.
