Atlantica Beach Resort Kos

The hotel is located in a stunning location with incredible views. Located with beaches around the hotel, making for an incredible seaside setting. Pictures below are taken from the beaches. One beach faces the sunrise & another beach faces the sunset. Which were both incredible might I add. We booked an Executive Suite which was located in the main hotel & the room was decorated tastefully & modern. Our only issue was the room (155) had absolutely no hot water thought our seven night stay. After three reports to reception, which I was fobbed off with, eventually on the fourth report we were offered a change of rooms. Which was on the 5th night. We were firstly offered a double room near to our original room, which was declined as it was not to the same standard of room which I booked and paid for. Secondly, offered a junior suite which we viewed & decided not to move into. Given we’d have to move all our stuff to a different part of the hotel for only two nights. Other than that issue, we had a wonderful stay & would certainly return. So much so we have booked another Atlantica hotel in a different part of Greece for next year. I have attached some photos of the hotel, which was always spotlessly clean & with friendly staff. P.S the bed & pillows were the comfiest I’ve ever slept on!

What a lovely holiday we have had!! 🥰 We arrived home yesterday so what better way to spend my afternoon than reliving the dream and hopefully sharing some helpful pointers with others.

My top tips and must do's for this resort:

DO get up and watch the sunrise on the beach! It is beautiful beyond belief. Don't fret if you miss it, you can always catch sunset on the other side.

DO venture over to the residence area if you are staying in the main resort. They have an awesome ice cream selection, food cooked fresh to order at the snack bar during the day and a beautiful, calm restaurant for breakfast with a great choice of food (and coffee served to the table 🥳)

DO enjoy the sounds of the ocean with a little drinky poo at Ammos beach bar before dinner, seats are comfortable and this was our favourite little spot in the hotel.

DO get out of the hotel and explore Kos, there is so much beautiful island to explore and some really fun things to experience.

DON'T worry about negative reviews, everyone has different expectations and different experiences. Go with an open mind, don't sweat any small stuff and make the most of your holiday - you've earned it ❤️

Booked as a 5 star double room. We had 2 single beds pushed together. The sewage drains smelt quite bad at times in the room.
Location has a beautiful view and a golden sand beach, it is very good for short bus journeys anywhere around Kos.
The overall service was excellent and the bar staff were outstanding.

Everything about this place is amazing. We went in august for a week all inclusive. 4 of us went, two adults, a teen and a child, there was food to cater to us all and we could all eat plenty of it each day (despite fussy eaters). The service at meal times and at the bars was amazing, very professional and the kids entertainment was great fun. All of the staff looked like they wanted to be there. We were places into the “resident area” and at first we didn’t see this as a great thing as it was quite a walk from the rest of the hotel but the more private breakfast area was perfect and the pool was lovely. Only a 5 minute walk to the rest of the resort, however there was an option to get picked up and taken (only used once when we had too much to drink 🤣). But no, overall we absolutely loved it and will definitely recommend!!

On arrival we waited 50 minutes to be shown to our room which was across the road from the main complex. The young guy who took us on the electric buggy was very pleasant and waited for us to bring us back after unloading our luggage at the room. The room itself had a view of a hill with a landfill dump and what looked like a pump house of sorts for the pools. The standard of the room was nowhere close to 5 star, I would rate it three stars. The beds were comfortable but I could hear the neighbours through the very thin walls, coughing, moving furniture about etc. The pools are well kept and have life guards although they all close at 18:00, which I think should be extended to at least 20:00.
I also found it odd for a given 5 star hotel to have virtually no waiter service and had to queue up at the bar for drinks also everything apart from the Greek restaurant was buffet service although the food was very good and had lots of choice. The Italian was a little disappointing as it too was buffet and had almost the same food as the main buffet restaurant. The staff at the Atlantica beach hotel, Kos, were very pleasant and helpful apart from one guy who was not very pleasant, I think he was Lithuanian and was there doing work experience. On the other hand we had Marius from customer relations who was excellent, he give 5 Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ service and was there every day to help you if needed. Big thanks to him, it was a real pleasure to meet him. I would go back to the Atlantica but do think it is a little over priced.

Just returned from a week at Atlantica Beach Resort Kos and all I have is high praise. The staff at the hotel are excellent and the hotel is spotless. The restaurant food is really good with plenty of variety. The room we stayed in was simple but lovely, we did upgrade to a room with a sea view with an inside sofa area and I do recommend this as it gave us some space to sit after a day on the beach. Shower awesome and bed very comfortable.

Very much enjoyed our time here with my wife and 2 year old. Large open spaces to keep the little one busy. Lovely private beaches with plenty of sunbeds. Activities throughout the days and good selection of food throughout. The staff are friendly too. Only downsides were the bathrooms are slightly dated and the fridge they offer seems to generate more heat than cooling. The shared toilet doors also don't have locks on them which was rather strange.

The entertainment team at Atlantica Beach Resort are absolutely amazing! Kept us busy with fun activities to do in the morning and the afternoon. The entertainment team were incredible at getting everyone involved. Would come back just to do the activities they provided.

We stayed here for a week from 9th October until 16th October 2021.
Firstly, I would like to give a few honourable mentions to Skerdi, an absolutely fantastic waiter in the lounge bar, the lady with short frizzy hair at the main pool bar who was brilliant with cocktails, & Mike, an exceptional waiter at the Azul Pool Bar.
The food at the main buffet was ok most days, but one of the only consistent things about it is that it was always lukewarm and not hot.
The food at the Elea A la carte restaurant is absolutely top notch with the waiters checking on you to make sure everything was ok and also making sure that you were enjoying your food.
The Italian on the other hand, was confusing as we thought that the food would be served to you rather than self-serve... I'm unsure if this was because of the pandemic or not, the food was still quite nice.
The room was nice, clean & spacious too!
The entertainment team put on some great shows across the week, but the best of all has to be Dino! He's absolutely brilliant!
Overall, it was a great stay!
