Good hotel with dedicated parking space close to city centre. We received free upgrade to junior suite (in January). Decent breakfast, very professional and welcoming staff helping you with everything. Rooms are in good condition, bathrobes, slippers etc are provided. Comfortable bed and pillows. The only downside was traffic noise from the busy street, but so far every hotel in Greece had bad soundproofing

We have just spent a weekend in this perfect boutique, 28 bedded hotel. Having stayed there two years ago, when it first opened.
It’s a small hotel that punches way above its weight.
The Garden City is located 5 minutes from the sea front and an easy stroll into the pretty old town. There is a plethora of coffee shops and taverns close by.
The hotel is pristinely clean, light and airy. Off street parking is a bonus. There is a small pool and gym.
Breakfast is buffet style, with a huge selection. From Greek yoghurt to eggs and bacon. The barrista coffee is excellent.
We had a junior suite, super king bed, mini bar etc. The bed was incredible comfortable and the shower very powerful. There are black out curtains so you sleep iundisturbed. Bottles of water are replenished every day.
But what makes this perfect little hotel really stand out, is the incredibly friendly staff. Everyone treats with you with warmth and kindness. Nothing is too much trouble.

We really cannot recommend The Garden City hotel highly enough.

What an INCREDIBLE hotel! The hospitality is unmatched and the food is delectable! Everything they serve for breakfast is from local vendors, and it tastes incredible. The rooms are clean and well supplied with essentials. The location is about a 25 min walk to city center and right on the beach. Most importantly, the hotel staff is warm snd welcoming. They were so kind during our stay and attended to our every need.

5 star hotel 10 minutes walk from the harbor. Quiet modern rooms facing the back. Off street parking a plus. Breakfast was outstanding. Service was very good. Maria at breakfast was terrific.

The Garden City Hotel is not far away from the beach (approx 4 min walk). It is also not far from the city centre (approx 10 min walk) and a small park is also not far away. The staff is friendly. We stayed in a unit that split into two smaller rooms: a room like a saloon with an additional sofa bed and a sleeping room with a double bed; a small corridor connected these rooms with a bathroom with a shower. Tiles were on the floor. In each room is a flat screen hanging on the wall. There were enough towels and toiletries there. The rooms have small balconies, one with a sitting area outside. I enjoyed the time there. Thank you

Nice rooms, not too spacious though. Nice and large bathroom. Didn't actually use any service, although the staff was nice and polite. Good location, not at the beach, but quite close at the seaside, with easy parking. Pricing though at the very high end, given the small pool , which was almost inside the restaurant area.

**Not a 5 star**
-Pool is very small compared with other hotels at this price point.
-Air-conditioning in our room felt like evaporative cooling more than refrigerated.
-Main lunch/dining area, hallways and stairwell are not air-conditioned. It was really uncomfortable walking too and from our room.
-Buffett breakfast hot food section was cold two mornings in a row.
-Mini bar fridge temperature wasn't cold in our room on Max temperature.
- After breakfast, there was no kitchen available until 5pm at the hotel.
-Also no room service during the day. They can order for you from outside places.
-The cleaners kept turning off our air conditioner every morning whilst they were cleaning our room. The room was hot when we came back in the afternoon. We rang reception to enquire about it and she said some excuse of a timer on the air-conditioning. I believe they were just giving me a lame excuse.
For the money you spend here there's Elite City and Horizon Blue which are much better. Ive stayed at both of them myself and family have stayed aswel.
-Not a 5 star, more like just a 2-3 star because it's new.
