The Stanley Hotel

Great hotel! Great location, coffee food and cocktails!

Room was always cleaned, breakfast is okay!

Only thing is the pool is always so busy, very hard to get a seat at times.

But would stay again regardless :)

We stayed 2 nights following our cruise. What a fabulous hotel! The location is great, the metro is just around the corner, 4 stops for the Acropolis, 3 stops for the parliament with changing of the guard and there are plenty of good restaurants and bars close by. The breakfast was plentiful, varied and good quality. We loved the rooftop bar and swimming pool and although we didn't use the restaurant, the food coming out looked lovely and it was always busy, the bonus being a great view of the Acropolis. Finally the staff, all so helpful and polite we really couldn't fault the Stanley and would stay here again if we come back to Athens.😀

Staff was friendly and on the ball, quick service with a smile. Setting is stunning on the rooftop pool deck, and about an 8 minute walk to Monastaraki square with good things to see along the way. Thank you for a great stay!

Stayed for 3 nights after a NCL cruise. Perfect hotel. Staff are brilliant. Room was clean, comfortable and had complimentary cold beers, waters, red wine and coffee machine waiting. Staff speak good English and are always helpful, cheerful and friendly.
Thanks to the Hotel team for a nice welcome, great drinks (cocktails are super) , top quality food, and perfect service.
Lifts are very slow though.

We stayed a week at the Stanley and enjoyed every minute of it. The rooftop pool is spectacular and the views are amazing. The rooms are comfortable. The hotel is centrally located with several good restaurants nearby. Best of all, the staff is very helpful and will arrange for cars, tours, etc.

We stayed at The Stanley for 3 nights. Each day we enjoyed views and drinks alike in the incredible rooftop bar; with views of lycabettus and the acropolis in sight. The pool was inviting. The service and food was incredible: specifically commendable staff members, were CHRISTOS our waiter when we enjoyed dinner at the Cloud 9 restaurant. He was kind, talkative and even suggested local drink and food recommendations to us. The Supervisor - KATERINA was lovely as well, she kindly gave us a seat and was a very welcoming, charismatic woman. Likewise, for the cashier called KOSTAS who spoke to us in a very polite manner and was incredibly kind too. Finally, to all the cleaning staff; coming in, each night to freshly smelling rooms and tucked in beds is the best! The dry cleaning and pressing system works very well too; they even got a huge grease stain out of my white hoodie. The room is adequate and met all our needs; comfortable beds, pleasant bathrooms with good quality and a balcony- but are a little small. It is in a great location with Metaxourgio station a mere 1 minute walk away, direct trains running to Syntagma and The Acropolis run every couple minutes. And it is very easy to travel to other touristy spots like Monakistri Square. Likewise travelling to and from the airport and the harbour. OVERALL, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANY TRAVELLING TO THE GREAT CITY OF ATHENS.

A great hotel with wonderful roof top terrace overlooking the Acropolis. Very modern hotel.

Lovely hotel, views of the Acropolis from the rooftop restaurant, lots of variety for breakfast, attentive staff, clean pool.

Good hotel not to far from the city center.
Big rooms and good breakfast.
Unfortunately the sounproofing of the rooms is not great, you can hear noises especially from the corridors. The elevators are quite slow, and not enough considering the dimension of this hotel.

The Stanley Hotel in Athens offered good service, cleanliness, and location. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of options for all dietary needs, and the staff were friendly. The bar had fancy but a little pricey drinks. Overall, a good experience.
