Apart from the great location and accessibility to the tourist attractions, the service at this hotel was impeccable. Shout out to Kostas at the reception who went above and beyond to help us with our room situation when it didn't meet the expectations from the original booking. Staff generally were all pleasant, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast options were decent and a great view to boot. I would definitely return to this hotel when I return to Athens

We stayed at the Stanley at the beginning of our trip to Greece and again at the end when we were back in Athens. Our stay was absolutely amazing. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was absolutely superb. We also did dinner each night at the sweet basil/cloud 9. It was delicious and the staff were some of the best. Get the sushi 🙌🙌🙌🙌

Overall a pleasant experience. Fantastic rooftop bar and restaurant with great food and stunning views of the acropolis. The service staff were all very friendly and d helpful. The breakfast buffet leaves a bit of room for improvement. The rooms are clean and have a comfy bed and seem to be well soundproofed as I did not hear my neighbors which is often a nuisance in some other hotels. Would stay there again.

From reading some of these reviews a week before I arrived I thought I was going to be staying in the worst hotel on earth, the reality was very much the opposite.
The room was a really decent size for a European city hotel! The bathroom was fine, some room for improvement in that area but perfectly adequate!
The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the breakfast buffet was also very good!
The rooftop is the star of the show, we ate at the restaurant twice during our week in Athens, the food there was exquisite and the view is sensational! Also the staff made us feel very welcome and special! I didn't use the pool but other members of my party did and have no complaints but it can get busy on certain days and times.
Location is perfect! The metro is right outside the hotel, which is very accessible! 4 stops to the acropolis, what more could you want?!
Also top tip, there's a cafe just on the corner of the hotel which is actually part of the Stanley, it's the perfect place to get a quick bite to eat!

The amenity space on the rooftop is the best feature of this hotel. The pool area is really large and very nice. It's very busy so it's not easy getting a spot to sit but it's worth the effort.
The free breakfast on the rooftop is also very good. Very good selection of food and the views are amazing.
The rooms themselves are dated and the bathrooms are so extremely small. One would expect a more luxury feeling for this price point in terms of being modern and larger. The front lobby feels dated as well.

We stayed here for 1 night, the rooftop was the best part! Panoramic views of Athens and the Acropolis. Service was very slow, we ate on the rooftop for lunch and it took over an hour and a half to get our food. However, it was all spectacular in taste. The rooms are subpar. Friendly staff at the front desk recommended a great rental car company that brought the car to the hotel.

Extremely overpriced, very low quality stay.
The rooms are very tiny, ours was quite dirty and outdated. The air condition did not work well and it was hot and humid. We did not sleep well.
The pool was very small and extremely crossed. There was never anywhere to sit. The service was terrible, you could never get anything you need.
The hotel location is far from anything. Not a good location.

Perfect location for touring around Athens. Rooms were clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is good. I would however recommend having lunch and dinner at a local spot near the Acropolis museum. Drinks on the roof top is a must! The view of the Acropolis is amazing to wake up to!

Very friendly staff. Nice rooftop pool. Beautiful views, where you can enjoy Acropolis during breakfast or dinner. The surroundings streets are pretty good dodgy though. Some look like the worst streets of LA full of coked up junkies.
