When we enter the building we felt we were in a place we loved to be. It was made in Venetian period in Crete with character that tells an ongoing story from five centuries ago. It is in the Venetian Neighborhood. It was converted to a library in 1928 by Antonio Malmo . After all the alterations in its interior and usage, it has been renovated in a way that integrates and highlights its unique identity in the greater area.
Both the surrounding area and the building are a direct result of a multicultural blend, combining aspects of the Greek, Italian and Turkish culture.
The rooms, decoration, breakfast was superb. The staff were extremely friendly.

Look We absolutely loved this boutique hotel!
The service was amazing, the design stunning, and the Parisian-style atmosphere made it so special. It’s close to everything yet quiet and relaxing – a perfect stay!

This was a highlight of our trip. Very great property in the old town. We will return to this hotel. Modern and in the heart of the city but still quiet.

Charming Hotel in the old Town. In a lively neighborhood, still very quiet.

We loved our stay at the Malmo Historic Hotel! Lovely room and absolutely gorgeous bathroom! Air-con was a lifesaver. The staff were so helpful and nice. Would recommend for anyone on a trip to Chania.

Recently stayed at this location, spectacular in all regards everything was perfect. The staff are lovely and very accommodating. Rooms super cute and comfy with many amenities. Would stay again 10/10.

Very pleasant stay. The hotel has a fantastic location, in the center of Chania, making it very convenient to explore the area. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and always ready to help with any requests or questions. Breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options. Overall, a great experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel for both leisure and business travelers

If you want to be on old town there is no better place to stay. When you walk outside the street is full of the busiest restaurants in town and has a real vibe.
The hotel is great for couples.
The free breakfast every morning is worth waking up for. Although small it's good quality.
The rooms are super modern and feel very night end with some of the nicest bathrooms I've seen in a hotel.
Staff are very friendly and responsive.
I had issues with the temperature in my room and they were always quick to respond.
I would go back here in a heart beat.

We stayed at the Malmo historic hotel for six nights. From the moment we checked in, the people at the front desk were so nice and helpful! We arrived fairly early and were able to go into our room within a few minutes. The decorations are beautiful and everything is very well thought out :) the breakfast was great every morning with a wide selection of foods and drinks for everyone. The location was incredible - just a short walk from all the main attractions in Chania. Definitely recommend!

Just spent a week in Chania staying at this beautiful hotel. The Malmo is an oasis of calm in this bustling city. Rooms are modern and comfortable and the team is kind and thoughtful. The terrace is a lovely place for breakfast or drinks. I would recommend this hotel and hope to return sometime soon.
