It's ok but very quiet and lacks atmosphere. Rooms are clean and Aircon is very good which makes it comfortable. However 2 single beds pushed together doesn't make a double in my view. Very expensive for what it offers. The restaurant was only open on a Sunday night for dinner and although yoga and dance classes were offered none were to be found. Stayed at this hotel for three weeks with family. Highly recommend. Staff is really friendly and helpful. Our flight home got delayed 24hrs and staff went above and beyond helping us.

Good place and location. We needed fan or air-condition to pass the night. Our room had 2 tv, sofa, 2 sink, cafe table and kitchen tools ex. plate set, folks and knives. Get cleaning everyday but behide the bed and the lamps are still quite dusty🤒

Perfect small hotel with direct access to the beach. Very clean! Covid friendly! Staff is very friendly! Breakfest in the open Waves restaurant. Breakfest is nice but can be improved.

Wonderful, in every way! Close to the beach, Clean sandy beach and sea. The pool area is also nice and clean. Fits for couples and families, for anyone actually. Tidy, newly renovated, clean. Good pool area. Good breakfast. Good location. Stayed in double room; the room was neat but simple (few furniture, small bathroom), bed was of bad quality (very springy, impossible not to wake spouse up when turning). It is a nice hotel, not too big or too small. Our studio was comfortable and clean, we loved the kitchen and balcony but most of all the swiming pool. We were the first guests in the season 2021 and enjoyed the pool by ourselves. We changed the position of 2 beds and hope Christos and the cleaning lady were not angry. Lovely hotel. Christoff the owner couldn't do enough for us. He put on a BBQ in the evening for us. He even sorted out a birthday cake for my boyfriend. Hotel is spotless aswell. Can't wait to go back.

Our last day in this hotel. We have been here for 1 week after spending a month in Crete. Best hotel so far. Reception & Bar are super helpful and great people. We stayed in room 222 as a family of 4. Such a big split level apartment with 2 bathrooms. Underground parking, a short walk to the main road but super quiet. The hotel is perfect. I would recommend this for young families, older families....

Hotel apt was clean and comfortable and staff is alwas nice and ready to help. Be aware the beach is not for children , it is really deep right after you step in the water. The beach is the gravel type!!! We had to travel 8 km towards Chania everyday where is sandy beach and calm water!!!

If you are there more than 7 days you will get tired of the breakfastbuffé let alone 7 days the juice ia barely juice and tastes very synthetic. We had a nice spacey room with sea view. We stayed there for one night, which was quite expensive, but for a family with kids this is definitely a place to visit. Very good bathroom and shower and good quality beds.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The rooms were clean. Overall I was impressed. Only niggles were that the air conditioning wasn't as cold as it should be and the kitchen was very small.

Nice rooms (bathroom is not amazing), great pool, great location - close to the sea and on a bus station, bus to xhania every 10 minutes. Many restaurants and shops in the area. The breakfast is small. The stuff was very nice and helpful and helped us a lot organising the trip, inviting taxis, corona tests etc...

We enjoy the Malou Hotel and return with our family every year A fantastic hotel - with a homely feel. The staff are always cheerful and helpful. It is always clean and fresh both in the rooms and the other areas. The pool is probably one of the cleanest we have seen in Crete! Perfect location, close to several beaches. We highly recommend this hotel especially to families with children.

It’s been a few years since our visit but we spent 2 weeks and liked it so we’re heading to Mariliana for 3 weeks this summer. The hotel is very clean, the beds are good, there are enough utensils to cook and the balcony also has decent furniture instead of plastic chairs. Location great close to amenities but quiet location. The pool is clean and of a suitable size.

We spent a week at Mariliana hotel in August 2021. It was our first time at Mariliana and we absolutely fell in love with this delightful little hotel. Mariliana is a well maintained, calm oasis with a beautiful garden. VERY NICE PLACE, Very god service, and extremely nice personnel. Delicious and quite cheap food, to eat in the pool bar day and evening. Really lovely place, well equipped, the lady who welcomed us was kind and helpful. The room has everything you need, there’s a kitchen as well, and air conditioned. It’s 1 min walk from the main road, still the neighborhood is completely quiet, and 2 mins walk from the beach. Absolutely recommend for shorter and longer stay as well.

We were not guests in the Hotel, but at the pool and bar. The bar crew is very pleasant and friendly! The food is very delicious and cheap.

We are not guests at this hotel, we were on a walk around 9pm and stumbled across this little gem, live music and very lively. Made to feel welcome and had the best cocktails of our holiday, you don't have to lift a finger the staff bring drinks to your table round the pool area and you settle up once you leave. Definitely worth a visit the staff are very friendly and can't do enough for you.

The bar is nice with occasional live music. You can have cocktails and some standard drinks such as wine and beer. It is not a huge selection but okay.

A very cozy hotel situated near the centre of Platanias. The host couple George and Sylvia are very accommodating and nice people. The hotel has a pool with the possibility to turn on a jaccuzi. Nice room, felt safe. The cellar apartment was large and cool. No extra dishes, and no soap to make the dishes. But our maid cleaned our dishes for us.

Polite staff. Clean room. Plenty of hot water. *No parking, which can be a serious problem on high season. We definately recomend.

This place is very nice, it is not luxury but it is very clean and peaceful. Owners and stuff are really polite, we had problem with our rent a car agency and they tried to help us. Beautiful view and perfect location, it is right on the beach! We highly recommend this small hotel to everyone!

Very nice to spend all day on the beach. There is a bar and restaurant, they cook very nice and tasty.. The staff care all day, very friendly... For 2 sunbeds and an umbrella you pay 6 EUR/all day. Till you have a lunch there, they dont count it. Really reccomend this place.

Amazing service and amazing people but most of all amazing location.. the beach is in ur back yard and youre surrounded by shops and restaurants!! Even tattoo shops and arcades! Simply perfect all around.
