Wonderful, in every way! Close to the beach, Clean sandy beach and sea. The pool area is also nice and clean. Fits for couples and families, for anyone actually. Fantastic location with really friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms and great breakfast. We arrived a few days before the start of the holiday season so were disappointed that the on site "Waves Restautant" was closed for dinner for the full 10 days despite their banner advertising the restaurant at the entrance to the hotel. Good place and location. We needed fan or air-condition to pass the night. Our room had 2 tv, sofa, 2 sink, cafe table and kitchen tools ex. plate set, folks and knives. Get cleaning everyday but behide the bed and the lamps are still quite dusty🤒

It is a nice hotel, not too big or too small. Our studio was comfortable and clean, we loved the kitchen and balcony but most of all the swiming pool. We were the first guests in the season 2021 and enjoyed the pool by ourselves. We changed the position of 2 beds and hope Christos and the cleaning lady were not angry. We recommended the Nireas Hotel to the agency and are sure that Slovenian guests...

Lovely hotel. Christoff the owner couldn't do enough for us. He put on a BBQ in the evening for us. He even sorted out a birthday cake for my boyfriend. Hotel is spotless aswell. Can't wait to go back.

Nice place with half-pension. The pool is VERY cold. It's a 15 minute walk from the beaches and a beach volley-complex. It's a good distance from the city center. If you go here, definitely rent or bring a bike :).

Hotel apt was clean and comfortable and staff is alwas nice and ready to help. Be aware the beach is not for children , it is really deep right after you step in the water. The beach is the gravel type!!! We had to travel 8 km towards Chania everyday where is sandy beach and calm water!!!

If you are there more than 7 days you will get tired of the breakfastbuffé let alone 7 days the juice ia barely juice and tastes very synthetic. Beach is as close to the hotel it can be and is quite rocky the first 2-3 meters in the water. It gets deep very fast so be careful if you children. The pool could have been bigger...

Perfect place for a family holiday, the hotel on the first line, 20 meters from the beautiful sea, the magnificent sandy beach. We had a nice spacey room with sea view. We stayed there for one night, which was quite expensive, but for a family with kids this is definitely a place to visit. Very good bathroom and shower and good quality beds.

Antonia is an awesome leader of the hotel. You feel so welcome and she tries to do everything that the guest are satisfied. You really feel that the staffs are a family. The hotel is so clean and the apartment quiet. I would come back !!!

Our last day in this hotel. We have been here for 1 week after spending a month in Crete. Best hotel so far. Reception & Bar are super helpful and great people. We stayed in room 222 as a family of 4. Such a big split level apartment with 2 bathrooms. Underground parking, a short walk to the main road but super quiet. The hotel is perfect. I would recommend this for young families, older families....

It's a fabulous complex, all the staff were friendly and helpful. I would love to take this complex with me anywhere I went on holidays.

We enjoy the Malou Hotel and return with our family every year A fantastic hotel - with a homely feel. The staff are always cheerful and helpful. It is always clean and fresh both in the rooms and the other areas. The pool is probably one of the cleanest we have seen in Crete! Perfect location, close to several beaches. We highly recommend this hotel especially to families with children.

It’s been a few years since our visit but we spent 2 weeks and liked it so we’re heading to Mariliana for 3 weeks this summer. The hotel is very clean, the beds are good, there are enough utensils to cook and the balcony also has decent furniture instead of plastic chairs. Location great close to amenities but quiet location. The pool is clean and of a suitable size.

We spent a week at Mariliana hotel in August 2021. It was our first time at Mariliana and we absolutely fell in love with this delightful little hotel. Mariliana is a well maintained, calm oasis with a beautiful garden. A very cozy hotel situated near the centre of Platanias. The host couple George and Sylvia are very accommodating and nice people. The hotel has a pool with the possibility to turn on a jaccuzi. Varouxakis offers breakfast, lunch, beverages and snacks for a small fee. It's easy and simple to just enjoy a lunch while at the pool. Nice room, felt safe. The cellar apartment was large and cool. No extra dishes, and no soap to make the dishes. But our maid cleaned our dishes for us.

This place is very nice, it is not luxury but it is very clean and peaceful. Owners and stuff are really polite, we had problem with our rent a car agency and they tried to help us. Beautiful view and perfect location, it is right on the beach! We highly recommend this small hotel to everyone!

Very nice to spend all day on the beach. There is a bar and restaurant, they cook very nice and tasty.. The staff care all day, very friendly... For 2 sunbeds and an umbrella you pay 6 EUR/all day. Till you have a lunch there, they dont count it. Really reccomend this place.

Amazing service and amazing people but most of all amazing location.. the beach is in ur back yard and youre surrounded by shops and restaurants!! Even tattoo shops and arcades! Simply perfect all around.

Perfect accommodation! The staff is very kind and helpful. The rooms are nice, modern and clean. Rooms are also cleaned daily and towels changed frequently. Breakfast is delicious and varied, you can’t get bored in a week. The beach and shops are nearby. I can only recommend!

Such a nice little hotel , I can‘ t find anything bad about it. We had a great stay. It’s located near the beach and there’s a bus station almost right in front of the door which takes you to the city center of chania. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and very modern. Been there last week....the updated rooms was nice, but the old one...not recommended...you can see and feel the smell of passing time through them, the cleaning was daily , the towel changed 3 times in a week...The staff polite and helpful, the FOOD...no way...for breakfast it was daily omlette tomatoes cheese and fried egg bread , few things only...Lunch and dinner was same food but in a different...

2 adults and 2 kids under 5, this place met all our needs. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean, showers and facilities were all.in perfect working order. Location was excellent, 2 large supermarkets next door. Bus stop to Chania old town and the beaches and also 15 Min walking distance to 4 beaches! The staff were very accomodating and welcoming. LCD in each room which can be used with a Google Chromecast...

We went here as a family of 5 and we loved every second good sized rooms but it does get really hot at night but that's not the hotels fault, the kids were non stop in the swimming pool it wasn't far from a lovely beach and restaurants and a short bus journey to the town centre I would definitely recommend this hotel you will have a nice warm welcome

Sun City is the epitome of Greek hospitality. It is a friendly, clean and safe family run hotel,and has a lovely pool and bar, great snacks and a 'time is of no consequence attitude'. There are different beaches from 10 - 20mins walk away, ranging from the quiet...

Long term repeat customer - first visit was with Thompsons in '97 and we still go back as often as we can. For us, the quality is perfect - all we need is a comfortable bed, air con and a clean bathroom and all are provided, along with very regular linen and towel changes (not always the case). Facilities could be an issue for those with small children - there's a pool and a bar but no playground ...

Had a one bedroom apartment in the last block of the complex. Liked a lot the location and peacefulness of the room. The room itself was spacious for one person but could easily accommodate 2 adults & 2 children. There were two big sofas in the living room-kitchen area for children and they looked comfortable enough to sleep. Two wardrobes, one in the bedroom and one in the hallway just beside...

Great value for money, courtesy and professionalism of the staff are top notch !!! Rooms and entire hotel are always clean and comfortable. Quality of food as well as food price are very good. Although it's only few meters from the lovely sand beach of Agia Marina, there is also a lovely swimming pool with kids area, for those who want to have some rest from the beach.... Nice hotel, excellent placed by the sea. Only missed aircon in the gym, otherwise everything was perfectly fittet for a couples vacation, or a family trip with older children as well. The staff was super friendly at all times. Would definately reccomend this to friends.

The location of this hotel was a 5/5. The view is gorgeous and steps from the beach. We stayed in a renovated room and had no complaints about the room at all. It was updated, clean, with good working AC(not that easy to find in Europe). The pool is clean and well kept. My complaint about it is the depth. We have visited Blue Dome many times. In May 2024 we had one of the new renovated rooms. The rooms had been renovated in a very restrained and elegant way. Every detail and color was carefully considered. The new air conditioners were of high quality, silent and well working.

Everything was great about our stay at Blue Dome. The rooms were very spacious, large balconies, the view was amazing, and the hotel itself is cleverly designed so you have a view of the sea from every room. The food in their Basil Honey restaurant is simply delicious and the breakfast that we had included was just amazing. We couldn't wait to wake up in the morning and rush to the restaurant...
