Excellent service from Nikos at the beach bar, always had a smile and checking if things were ok. Spent everyday at the beach and paying for sunbeds is ok, then they are ours all day

Lovely hotel. Everything you need.We went all inclusive. Huge selection of nice food available every meal. Lots of variety. Beautiful location. Literally metres from the beach. Would definitely stay again

The resort grounds are very beautiful! The beach area is nicely kept, from there you can see breathtaking sunrises & sunsets

Our room had a nice view to the main swimming pool, with the sea in the background. We received a complimentary wine bottle at checkin. There was always nice live music playing somewhere every evening

The breakfast was good but I was told I could not take my coffee out from the breakfast area - whatever we had had to be consumed there. Bearing in mind the pool can literally be 5 steps away from the breakfast area

When we checked out however the receptionist only asked for me to pay thr €10 tax ( no problem) and did nothing else. Noticeably not asking if we had enjoyed our stay etc etc

I think this may be to dissuade any guests taking the inclusive breakfast foods outside of the restaurant - I don't know - but not very 5* to have such ridiculous rules

I had to send this back - they did not them charge me for this. I just would expect the food to be of much higher quality - to match the environment

it was a really good and relaxing stay. The hotel is located in a nice place, low and nice buildings with a lot of pools and access to the beach and sea

Choice of drinks in all-inclusive package is not so big, but I'd say it's enough. Pools are clean and water is warm

The only downside is pool opening times - from 10 till 18, I believe it can be 1 hour more on each side

Also, there are a lot of activities for kids - kids club, including some activities for while family, playground, playroom, etc. So really recommended for families

We never had a problem finding an umbrella and a sunbed by the beach. As for the pools, here traditionally most of the sunbeds were already "reserved" with towels in the morning

I advise families with children, you will not regret it. There are always free sunbeds on the sea and near the pool. The food is excellent and varied. The rooms are decent, no complaints

The bars were good 👍 all inclusive drinks however do seem a little watered down but hey ho saved a bad head the next day. The beach is literally next to the pool and was great for sunbathing and snorkeling

We’ve searched for this year holiday for 6 months because one bad review put us off. But decided to spend this year at Caldera and that was the best decision ever

The main point - food was absolutely amazing! There was nothing we didn’t like and we are picky eaters. Loads of choices from meat, fish, veggie, and seasoned perfectly. The local corner was our favourite

We got the room at the lowest ground which was a bit dark but travelling with a toddler was very handy as we weren’t woken up at the sunrise 😅 and the bushes around the balcony (we complained about them at first) turned out to be very handy at evenings when we sat there during heavy wind

When we landed at the hotel there was an issue with our room so we got moved to the sister hotel over the road for one night which was fine, then they gave us a free massage and late check out also for the inconvenience which wasn't really an issue

We still could enjoy the quiet evening there without freezing. Rooms are fully equipped with toaster, coffee maker fridge freezer and table for 4 ppl. Room was cleaned every day with fresh towels

We have been in Oscar Suites for a week. The location is super nice and the apartments are also very good. It's nice they have two pools and a fitness. The employees are very very nice and helpful

The hotel located in the very nice area, the beach is just across the street and there are a lot of great restaurants around

The owner is very kind and gave us a helpful advice regarding the area and places to see during our day. I would recommend this place to anyone, looking for peaceful vacation in Greece

If you needed anything they were there happy to assist. made such a fuss over our little girl that she wants to move to Greece now, very family welcoming

Even though our hotel is located only a 5 minute walk away from the beach we also offer the option of enjoying our swimming pools to cool down during the hot summer days of the Cretan summer!

Ive never been in a place that took care of me and my Bf like this ! The staff is amazing every single one of them ! the reseption , in the bar\pool , kitchen. everyone ! they helped us with every little thing

We spent four days in the hotel at the end of the season. Accomodations ware great, food is good and the stuff gave us a home like fealing. We rented the big room with jacuzzi and it was great

We stayed there for our honeymoon for 7 days, and it was INCREDIBLE! Beautiful resort with everything you need, friendly staff, delicious delicious food! We booked the Executive Suite, it is two stories with a hot tub and a big balcony overlooking the pool and sea

The hotel exceeded our expectations. Very nice staff. A great pool area and bar, directly at the beach. Surrounded by nice Restaurants nearby, a little bit further up the hill.

Sunbeds are also not available at the pool on most mornings despite the pool not opening until 9am the sunbeds are all occupied well before that time

Nice hotel in Platanias, very close to the beach. The restaurant is next to the beach, you can also overlook the Playground for the kids. There is a great "greek night" with dinner and show once a week

Nice Hotel just on the beach. Just perfect because it is not too much nor too less. Recommended absolutely.

If you have to sit at the hotel beach you must pay 5€ for the beds, this is unacceptable for hotel guests to have to pay this fee

Located very close to platanias city centre and right next to the sea. The hotel is built Cozy and easy to access sea and swimming pool

We arrived a few days before the start of the holiday season so were disappointed that the on site "Waves Restautant" was closed for dinner for the full 10 days despite their banner advertising the restaurant at the entrance to the hotel

I have nothing negative to say, it is such a great place, excellent service, professional cleaning service, good restaurant, brilliant cocktail bar, very friendly staff, alot of activities to do close by and good rooms with the essentials

Hotel apt was clean and comfortable and staff is alwas nice and ready to help. Be aware the beach is not for children , it is really deep right after you step in the water

Excellent food in the restaurant, a lot of dietary dishes for children, a variety of the diet were changed every day. Two nice pools with sea views. All the amenities in a walking distance. Will definitely go here again!

The beach is the gravel type!!! We had to travel 8 km towards Chania everyday where is sandy beach and calm water!!!

We had a nice spacey room with sea view. We stayed there for one night, which was quite expensive, but for a family with kids this is definitely a place to visit. Very good bathroom and shower and good quality beds.

Beach is as close to the hotel it can be and is quite rocky the first 2-3 meters in the water. It gets deep very fast so be careful if you children

Great value for money. Owner is very nice and helpful. Has 3 swimming pools and one of them for kids. Great location. I think it's one of the best ones around the area.

5 minutes from the beach. 6 minute bus ride or a 40 minute Wallin along the beach to get to Chania Old Town - location was great for us.

Beautiful swimming pool complex with separate shallow kiddies pool and higher up a jacuzzi pool with glimpses of the white mountains. Covered but open sided seating area where breakfast and snacks are served

Surrounded by olives, bougainvillea and other lovely Cretean trees and plants. Located just a 5 minutes walk to the sea and adjacent to the the best restaurant in Chania, the Sterna

Room was nice and clean and a large balcony was also avaliable. Aircondition worked well and we were happy with it. The hotel has a decent sized swimming pool as well as a bar

We didn't use it as we always prefer the beach, that's a personal choice. We were treated very well by the staff and it was nice and quiet. We were satisfied with the price and what we got for it aswell

We went there to spend the day at the beach. Nice ambient with quiet atmosphere, staff is very kind, cocktails are special. Swimming pool is close to the beach, it is possibile to have yoga classes

Nice hotel, excellent placed by the sea. Only missed aircon in the gym, otherwise everything was perfectly fittet for a couples vacation, or a family trip with older children as well

My complaints about this hotel are mainly due to the staff and bar/restaurant amenities. Everything at the hotel, including the pool, bar, restaurant, lobby, everything, is completely shut down by 9pm

The location of this hotel was a 5/5. The view is gorgeous and steps from the beach. We stayed in a renovated room and had no complaints about the room at all

It was updated, clean, with good working AC(not that easy to find in Europe). The pool is clean and well kept. My complaint about it is the depth. Its quite deep to stand and lounge if you are shorter than 5

Pros: - The outside lawn, garden and pool looks beautiful. - Perfect location near different beaches, restaurants and mini markets

Nice room, felt safe. The cellar apartment was large and cool. No extra dishes, and no soap to make the dishes. But our maid cleaned our dishes for us.

- Only have access to 1 copy of key, so if you forget the keys you have to look for the owner, who mostly is not at the reception. - Toiletss don't lock, my friend child was locked in for 2 hours

I have to clean my foot before going to bed. I don't know what the cleaning was there. The boss was not very interested if there happens something,like fridge broken. What I liked was the sea ,so close and pool was fine

As regular travelers we have been impressed by the outstanding service, facilities and staff professionalism. A big shout out to the guys at the pool bar and the lady in the kitchen, drinks and food were great!

Yes I stay here two weeks,mostly I liked that bar at beach ,where two kind men service us. Thanks !!!In my room was not very good,I had to change my bed clothes and do all dishes

Sea bream is simply great. Other food is delicious too, especially grilled feta. We ate here for 6 times in a row.

Very nice to spend all day on the beach. There is a bar and restaurant, they cook very nice and tasty. The staff care all day, very friendly. For 2 sunbeds and an umbrella you pay 6 EUR/all day

Amazing service and amazing people but most of all amazing location.. the beach is in ur back yard and youre surrounded by shops and restaurants!! Even tattoo shops and arcades! Simply perfect all around.

This place is very nice, it is not luxury but it is very clean and peaceful. Owners and stuff are really polite, we had problem with our rent a car agency and they tried to help us

We went here as a family of 5 and we loved every second good sized rooms but it does get really hot at night but that's not the hotels fault, the kids were non stop in the swimming pool it wasn't far from a lovely beach and restaurants and a short bus journey to the town centre I would definitely recommend this hotel you will have a nice warm welcome

Facilities could be an issue for those with small children - there's a pool and a bar but no playground (to be honest, this lack suits us perfectly - it discourages those with young children which keeps it quieter for us!) The service is really what sets Sun City apart from almost everywhere else we've stayed and keeps us going back

Sun City is the epitome of Greek hospitality. It is a friendly, clean and safe family run hotel,and has a lovely pool and bar, great snacks and a 'time is of no consequence attitude'

LCD in each room which can be used with a Google Chromecast or Amazon firestick and there is WiFi. Pool was perfect for the kids along with toys. Will definitely recommend to others

There are different beaches from 10 - 20mins walk away, ranging from the quiet, calm and serene to the bustling and busy, with lots of sports

Bus stop to Chania old town and the beaches and also 15 Min walking distance to 4 beaches! The staff were very accomodating and welcoming

The view from the balcony was towards a local family house but if you turned your chair towards the sea, you could see a bit of it :) A narrow street just in front of the room led uphill to some other houses but there was almost no traffic

Although it's only few meters from the lovely sand beach of Agia Marina, there is also a lovely swimming pool with kids area, for those who want to have some rest from the beach. Overall, a fantastic place to stay

Crete is a beautyfull island with alot to see, nice beaches, freindly people

A shortcut to the beach was easy to find and it took only some minutes to get there. Two supermarkets within 150 m and many tavernas close by, too
