A few steps down from the cristal clear pools is the beach and you can jump into the waves in no time. This was something that was priority on our list

We went there to spend the day at the beach. Nice ambient with quiet atmosphere, staff is very kind, cocktails are special. Swimming pool is close to the beach, it is possibile to have yoga classes

Everything was great about our stay at Blue Dome. The rooms were very spacious, large balconies, the view was amazing, and the hotel itself is cleverly designed so you have a view of the sea from every room

The food in their Basil Honey restaurant is simply delicious and the breakfast that we had included was just amazing. We couldn't wait to wake up in the morning and rush to the restaurant

Fabulous family-owned hotel by the beach in Platanias with spacious apartments with balconies towards the sea, superb swimming pool, gym and delicious food

All the staff is super friendly, helpful with every question or request! Would definitely recomend!! And we look forward to going back!

There are many pool areas separated by sections of the hotel and direct access to the beach with the hotel's own sun loungers. The main restaurant offers a fresh selection of daily changing dishes

The beach / pool bar was quite nice with the sofas, where you can grab a snack/ drink. The cocktails and especially Pina colada are to die for !!

The main restaurant offers both nice breakfast and you have different buffets every night, we had the Mediterranean buffet and the grill buffet. The other restaurant but the beach offers amazing a la carte menu

This resort is surrounded by lush green plantations blended harmoniously with the ocean breeze and a peaceful tranquility. There are 4 restaurants, pool bars and a beautiful wellness spa center

Very conveniently located this resort has its own private beach and makes it an amazing place for a great vacation. Where do I even start, we loved everything here

If you are coming here with kids, they have pools for both kids and adults and abundant sun chairs to read and relax

The hotel is connected through a private bridge to another property of theirs which takes you directly to the beach

Very close to 3 beaches and a bus stop that leads to Chania. Food was wonderful and staff is very kind and friendly. Rooms are small but they have everything you need. For the price you pay you get a great deal

Friendly and service minded staff. Wi-Fi was a bit slow but fine compared to other places on Crete. Ok Continental breakfast with little specialities. Dinner buffet was fine but not amazing

You will eat better at the local restaurant or in Chania. It’s possible to walk to Chania aprox. Agia apostoli is a fine base for exploring Chania and north/west Crete

The wines list was comprehensive with some superb local and Greek wines, backed up by knowledgeable staff who knew what they were talking about and always had a recommendation

The food at Domes Chania was excellent for all meals, but Dinner was outstanding

Sunbeds are also not available at the pool on most mornings despite the pool not opening until 9am the sunbeds are all occupied well before that time

Nice hotel in Platanias, very close to the beach. The restaurant is next to the beach, you can also overlook the Playground for the kids. There is a great "greek night" with dinner and show once a week

Nice Hotel just on the beach. Just perfect because it is not too much nor too less. Recommended absolutely.

If you have to sit at the hotel beach you must pay 5€ for the beds, this is unacceptable for hotel guests to have to pay this fee

Cons: The beds are a bit to hard for me, as I could feel the springs into my skinny back

Very good price for what you get. Outdoor/pool area is amazing and well worth it. Great location and less than 10 minute walk to the beach. Apartments are clean and spacious with great air conditioning.

Lovely staff, stayed here for 5 nights and they were very helpful. All the breakfast reviews weren't jokes. it really is as good as they say. Breakfast tables in the garden so you have a great view of the pool

The rooms are clean and with good working airconditioning. They clean it on regular base. The Pool is very nice and clean and the garden looks very neet en maintaind

Stayed for a week last summer and I have nothing to complain about! Had an amazing breakfast buffet and bar menu. One day it was a lot of fun with a Greek evening where we were able to see Greek dancing, music and food

Comfortable beach chairs, plenty of umbrellas — i have never enjoyed my days at the beach as much as here. This is a top notch property in a beautiful setting and hope I will return one day

Can’t describe how wonderful our stay at Domes was. The welcome from the staff and the service from all the staff everyday was excellent. They were always happy to help

Breakfast buffet had everything you could want but every morning I had the 40% fat yogurt with a selection of toppings. The beach was so clean and there was always a lounger available

The beach by the hotel was one of my favorites in Crete - very relaxed with lots of soft sand and beautiful views. The pools were equally relaxing and the whole resort looked stunning

The air conditioning works well, too even, there are no French satellite channels. But no more serious than that. The bar, breakfast and meals served on site around the pool are top notch

Installed in the apartment part, not suite, for 4 days. Large apartment, it just lacks shutters in the room, because to see whoever sleeps there on the sofa is not great, thanks to mat impossible

Bus stop just outside, for the 21 which goes to Chania. Ticket to be taken from the driver, 2nd the trip

And the beach was lovely at night, the bar staff were having a good time especially at the pool bar near beach at night and the singer was absolutely outstanding he sang in English which wasn't his 1st language he spoke Dutch, French and English which he spoke him and he was brilliant at guitar singing songs from 60s to the 90s, he came on at lunch near one of the restaurants and the at 7 at the same...

Friendly Hotel. The Hotel is located directly at the beach so you can choose and switch easily between pool and see. Personal is always friendly and willing to help. Very nice holiday.

Nice hotel lots of bars and food places food is of a good quality at the buffet the entertainment was decent particularly the watch man show beach is clean with lots of loungers the pools have good amount of loungers one complaint the there wasn't many signs telling you where toilets were so it was a case of finding them

The staff and food were amazing. We all sat at the pool and the football coaches were amazing

We have just returned from a week stay and we had the best time! All the staff from the hotel were incredibly welcoming and helpful! The restaurant staff were so welcoming and the kids looked forward to dinner time immensely! They loved the games room and all the activities around the hotel! We played tennis and golf! The hotel is clean and well looked after

Parking space is not an issue. The beach is in front of the hotel next to the pool, but it's not that pretty

Quite clean, staff nice and friendly, good wine served for the most of the day. Close to the very nice beach spots and to Chania- walking distance most of the time by the beach. To sum up - pretty nice place to stay

Positives: -October sunshine -Excellent variety of delicious dishes -Friendly stuff -Big enough rooms for a family of 4 -Clean!!! - Beach is a short 5 min walk away Negatives: - Freezing cold! swimming pools 🥺 - Not enough cupboard place - The gym is a disappointing place 😕 All in all we have a nice stay

There is always barbecue, fish/seafood, meat, and vegetables in the buffet. The food is of a high quality and well-tasting. The snacks during the day are also great - as is the ice cream. The beverages offered are good

Hotel apt was clean and comfortable and staff is alwas nice and ready to help. Be aware the beach is not for children , it is really deep right after you step in the water

The beach is the gravel type!!! We had to travel 8 km towards Chania everyday where is sandy beach and calm water!!!

We had a nice spacey room with sea view. We stayed there for one night, which was quite expensive, but for a family with kids this is definitely a place to visit. Very good bathroom and shower and good quality beds.

Beach is as close to the hotel it can be and is quite rocky the first 2-3 meters in the water. It gets deep very fast so be careful if you children

The beaches nearby were probably the best we saw near Chania and there are several good taverns. The pool was big enough and there's plenty of sunbeds around. The garden is massive and very well maintained

Beautiful swimming pool complex with separate shallow kiddies pool and higher up a jacuzzi pool with glimpses of the white mountains. Covered but open sided seating area where breakfast and snacks are served

We didn't use it as we always prefer the beach, that's a personal choice. We were treated very well by the staff and it was nice and quiet. We were satisfied with the price and what we got for it aswell

Surrounded by olives, bougainvillea and other lovely Cretean trees and plants. Located just a 5 minutes walk to the sea and adjacent to the the best restaurant in Chania, the Sterna

This is our 5th visit. Family run. Near but not on beach. Good well maintained pool. Restaurants nearby. Good buffet breakfast. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds, air con, free WiFi. Bus stop across road for Chania town.

Gorgeous hotel and rooms, pool was clean, seating was plentiful. Breakfast was tasty however hardly any variation. Staff were lovely, no issues with them

The receptionists are great and can't help you enough. It is a 3 star and you get value for money. 2min to the beach, the room and bath was very clean

It is nice and quiet and there is more than one beach to go to - check them out, in particular the one near the chapel on the hill- 5min away

Nice location, close to very nice beach, places to shop, a little amusement place and not further than a good stroll along the beach from Chania, or a direct trip in the bus
