AQUAMARE CITY and BEACH Mini-hotel

Nice hotel well located with plenty of bars & restaurants around it. 2 mins walk from the beach & around 15-20 mins from the old town. Room was good only gripe was the shower cubicle is very small. Only had the breakfast which had plenty of choice & was fine , had a few nightcaps in the bar which was fine. Only used the pool area once but always seemed to have beds available . Overall I enjoyed my stay, rooms were clean & the staff I came across were all friendly & helpful I would stay here again if coming back to Rhodes

From arriving to leaving we've never felt more like being at home. Polite, courteous with welcoming smiles. Nothings to much when you ask they always will have an answer or solution. We only had breakfast but it was excellent plenty to choose from. The hotel was very clean including our room. Our room was cleaned every day by a very lovely lady who would always stop what she was doing to speak to us and to check all was OK, always doing a fantastic job. Our beds was always made and towels changed room was always spotless. One minute walk from the beach, great restaurants on the doorstep. Apart from breakfast we never eat there but those that did the food looked fantastic. One of the best greek hotels I've stayed in worth every penny with sea views.

Had such a great stay here, rooms were nicely decorated and clean, pool area was lovely and staff were all friendly. Very lovely chefs if you have allergies, they are very good at accommodating although i would avoid the gluten free bread. Only downsides were the lift was very slow and there was only 1 so often we had to take many flights of stairs. overall its in a great location with so much to do on your doorstep and i would happily go back again!

Just come from another amazing holiday from this wonderful hotel had the best time, location brilliant just a couple of minutes walk to Eli Beach and the old town about 10 minutes. The hotel is absolutely spotlessly clean all the lovely staff go above and beyond to make sure you have a great time a special mention to the lovely Despoina for looking after us with laughs and drink, thank you to everyone for a great holiday

the good: all staff; hotel very clean throughout; breakfast selection and organisation; pool area the average: bathroom (on the small side and little power in the shower); bed (quite hard, although we did manage to sleep ok); general room layout (we had a side sea room which, for some reason contained an extra bed - complete waste of space!) the not so good: the stairs (looking tatty and in need of new surfacing) the bad: we organised a late check-out, which cost us 40 euros. now, we knew we couldn't keep our own room, but they put us on the ghost floor (first), where nobody seems to stay and you can see why! i honestly doubt the room have been refurbished since the 1970s - they still have radios on the wall!! add to that, the grotty carpet and the shower head holder being useless (oh and the shower curtain finishing about a foot from the floor!!), it, unfortunately let them down somewhat.

Stayed here for a week, in my opinion, it's not 4*. The room was a box room you could not pass one another however, it was spotless with good quality linen. Our room lady was excellent. The good points are the cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff, and its location. The hotel is more suited as a bed and breakfast, the evening food was basic, cold, and overall poor choices. We never saw more than 6 diners, including the two of us. Breakfast was a little better with more food choices available. There is a small pool area with limited loungers. We used the beach, which charges 20 Euros for 2 loungers and an umbrella. It's a pity the bar was not used more, the lady on duty most nights was great, as was the young man, Nicos, who worked restaurant and bar. There is a 10 euro per night tax that the hotel does not keep for itself. It's a pity that the relevant authority did not spend any money on the uneven pavements, and a good sweep of the road gutters would not go amiss in what is known as the new town part. The old part of town is well-kept and worth a visit. The surrounding eateries were mixed overall,l thought the food and drinks were a little on the expensive side

Perfect location for walk into Old Town, rooms spotlessly cleaned everyday, staff have that genuine Greek friendliness that must be catching throughout the resort, we found. We stayed half board and could not fault the fantastic breakfast and evening meals with excellent range of dishes, including stuff we never seen before, let alone sampled. Although we aren’t sun worshippers, we noticed that the pool and sun loungers were attractive and well attended. If we hadn’t gone to so many museums we would have spent some time on them!

This was a lovely one week stay to explore Rhodes, Lindos and Symi island! We chose this hotel mainly for the location as we do with all our holidays. This hotel is a 1 minute walk to the beach and around a 10/15 minute walk to the old town. The room was nice and clean. We had a balcony that overlooked the pool (we didn't experience lots of noise, we could hear some singing from a bar nearby but it didnt disrupt our sleep and with booking a central hotel you can't expect a quiet countryside anyway. The lady on reception was very helpful and friendly and made our stay welcoming. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of hot and cold choices and stays open until 10.45. We found the busiest time was around 9am so preferred to go down an hour later when it was quieter. The hotel is perfect for couples and friends who want to explore and have the option to relax as well. If we ever return to Rhodes we'd book this hotel again!

Very nice hotel which suited our needs exactly. If you're aiming to lie by the pool all day then I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Equally I wouldn't go there for the views from the veranda. It was however in an excellent location, just 5 minutes' walk from the beach, ten or so minutes walk from the harbour and 15 minutes' walk from the Old Town. We had half board and the food was always good, varied and plentiful. If I were going again I probably wouldn't go half board, not because of any criticism of the hotel, but because there are so many interesting restaurants within a short distance of the hotel which it would be tempting to try. The most notable thing about the hotel was that the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
