2 star hotels in Rhodes Town

Couldn’t call this a 5 star hotel at all. Be wary of room descriptions… my “sea view” room look at three buildings and faced neither Aegean or Mediterranean Sea. Instead of you stand on the balcony and lean over and look directly left you get a small glimpse of see its misleading. Breakfast buffet is a joke. You can’t get fresh juice, you can’t get a barista made coffee, you can’t even get a seat...

The staff is very attentive, the cleanliness is exemplary, the food is diverse and very good. the restaurant and everything related to the restaurant is impeccable. the pool is a little small for what I expected. the receptionists, waiters, waitresses, all very attentive to details and to the needs of the customers. Our first time in Rhodes and we loved our hotel was clean and well maintained. The rooms were excellent definitely worth paying a little extra for a sea view room. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Location is OK it’s about a 20 min walk into the old town which wasn’t a problem for us but if you struggle with walking especially in hot weather you might want to stay some where closer to the old...

A review from an Irish Couple. The Hotel Mediterranean is absolutely fantastic and in a great location. Elle Beach is about 30 feet from the front door and it's only a 10 min stroll into Rhodes Old Town. The Staff are friendly and helpful. This Nice and cosy small hotel, 76 rooms, I have stayed at for many years. Always the same nice feeling during my stays. Greeted like a family member. Nice rooms, All things needed Are here. Carina Hotel is a place to be, it is nice, clean hotel, if you have a small budjet then it is good choice, near to every place in centrum, very good location. Breakfast included in the price, so don't hesitate.

Good hotel for the value. Rooms are pretty good, little bit tight with big balcony. Bathroom are not in very good condition but it's not useless. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help when there was an issue with my booking. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were big. There was a lovely pool space and rooftop bar. The location was fantastic as it is right next to the beach.

So me and my brother flew in from England and stayed the week here, I booked before I looked at reviews then when I saw them i obviously panicked and thought it was gonna be a sh*T show, thankfully it was way better than expected. Firstly the location is great, 10 min walk from old town and the bus station where it costs €5 to go to lindos etc, sea a minute away, plenty of shops and restaurants around...

For high needs people maybe this hotel is bad, but for me it was really nice place, close to the center and all attractions, room got cleaning almost everyday. Stuff at the reception was the nicest.

I booked one night here - as I always do, just to make sure its suitable - I ended up staying a further six nights, say no more. 😊 This post is from October 2020, so you can dismiss any previous negative comments regarding this hotel, oh yes, bear in mind it's a two star hotel, regardless to say, it was better that some of the top notch places I've stayed at. Very nice experience, my room was freshly new, staff is super friendly and the hotel is located near the beach and town centre.lots of restaurante around the hotel. Bed is very confortable and a good view of the the pool from the balcony .

As we arrived, the receptionist told us our room wasn’t ready yet. Something had broken and they needed to fix it, which would take about a day. Because of that, we had to stay at another hotel across the street. However, this lady was kind enough to walk us there. The next day we came back, but whatever was broken still wasn’t fixed. We had to wait another three hours. I think they couldn’t fix it...

We were pleased with this hotel. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The room was basic but had everything we needed, bed was comfortable, there was Aircon and a balcony with lateral views to the beach. The real positive is the location. 5 minute walk to the harbour plus another 5 to the old town. Reception staff are very efficient, cheerful and helpful (also 24 hours). This is our second time staying at the Savoy Hotel. The location is great, the breakfasts are excellent. The only downside is that the air conditioning didn't work well. We had to open the front door and the window.

Right in the centre of town an easy walk to the harbour for boat trips and the old town for a wander around it's medieval streets. Hotel itself is quite dated and basic, stairs carpet could do with a good clean or replacing! But for a couple of nights it's good value for money (we did £82 for 2 nights inc breakfast which for the location we thought was great).

Nothing wrong with this functional central hotel. This is my second visit. Close to bus station, ancient city and local beaches. Breakfast buffet. Rooms are functional but perfectly fine. Hot water, desk, ac, WiFi and small balcony. Value for money and ideal for solo traveller

If you want a clean room and a nice breakfast and you don't have much expectation, this is your destination. Only thing is the heater lights above the hot dishes in the breakfast area is quite close to the food, my hand got burned while I was taking food to my plate. BE CAREFUL!

We were happy with the hotel, but we had a lot of difficulty finding it because its name had changed. We tried calling by taxi but couldn't find it. We only found out by chance when we went online to ask about it: The hotel's name is now ISLAND, but its old name is still listed online.

This hotel is now ISLAND SEASIDE HOTEL. From the owner to the desk staff all have made this a memorable day stay. Modern rooms, spotless shower and wc. We had the luxury of a personal chaperone Michael is. Just wonderful.

Fantastic hotel, the vieuw was amazing! Rooms where nice, spacious and clean. I would recommend this to everybody. The staff is also very nice and so helpful. We also rented a car with the same owner wich was great. Definitely coming back here!

We had a very nice time, our room just 10 meters from the sea, very clean and very organized. the breakfast was very rich with many choices. We also had easy access to parking and car rental services. Value for money. I highly recommend it.

The hotel is located in the heart of the city center, close to both Elli Beach and Windy Beach. Because of this, rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy, but the windows are perfectly insulated and there’s air conditioning, so street noise can be completely shut out. Stayed at Pearl Hotel. Perfect for Rhodes Town. Staff wonderful and always helpful. Nice valvinst, good shower, refridgerator big, good hard beds, nice pool and fantastic breakfast! Really good location and great value for what you get. The owner was a really nice guy and very helpful. It wasn't the best night's sleep due to some drunk people outside in the middle of the night but that isn't the hotels fault, any accommodation you book in this area will be at risk of night time noise.

This is a very good hotel, our room is 501 (the highest floor, 1st room). Our view is beautiful. The hotel crew is kind, and speek in english. The room is pretty small, but god for us. It has got a air cond., a good TV and a fridge.

Went there in July 2022. Perfect for someone who's on a budget. The hotel is placed in close proximity to most tourist attractions and the beach, which is great considering the price.
