Rhodes Town, Akti Miaouli Papanikolaou Street, 1 5 🧭 Map
The buffet was fair and always found something to eat. The restaurants by the pool that you would sit and order to your table were absolutely fabulous. The a la carte restaurants were also top notch
Waiters in main restaurant were interested in the tables. They had good communication to our kids despite of didn't know each other's languages. We liked also alacarte restaurants
Should have written a review then, but only thinking to now as I am trying to rebook to stay again this year. We had the most amazing time at this hotel. The value we got for money was unbelievable
I booked a room for me and my family on July in 2024. The hotel's front office service met us so cheerful. They offered us, could upgrade our room for free. We admired to our new room's landscape
I think they currently are doing big renovations as I have tried to book for this year and unfortunately can’t. I will definitely be trying to book in when they reopen
First time to rhodes and i was very impressed. The hotel is beautiful, clean and modern, tradional style bedroom (i think) but very spacious, very comfortable bed

That was one of the best stays in a hotel in my life. Staff of this hotel are so nice and friendly, always will help you with anything you need. Beds in a room are really comfortable
Housekeeping is very nice and helpful. Really good cosmetics products in a room. Rooms were really clean and tidy. Food was out of this world, everyday was different cuisine which was ideal
After check out you can still leave your luggage and use swimming pool or shower. Really good quality of everything. Huge recommendation ❤️ Definitely gonna come back
Overall, the hotel is good, with a great location close to everything. The food is average and does not really change from day to day. Many thanks to the entire team. we would be happy to return in the future!
My first impression was a comfortable hotel with friendly and professional staff and I want disappointed. The hotel and facilities were clean and comfortable and I was able to fully relax during my stay
Plus side: good breakfast buffet, comfortable beds, decent swimming pool. Minus side: massive building site opposite, operating every day from 8-4, and noisy; no ventilation in bathroom, so very smelly.

Daily cleaning and fresh towels. Excellent aircon controlled separately in bedroom/lounge. Handy to shops, restaurants/bars, bus station and beaches about 10 minutes walk
Hotel rooms are of a good size, beds very comfy. Clean towels every day, kitchen facility in apartment room very modern. Showers - lots of hot water available
Our room was kept very clean with daily service, the staff was consistently friendly, and the breakfasts were good. The only real issue was the thin walls
Ask for a room to the right when get to the top of the stairs - then away from the building work across the road. The building work across the road is the reason for 2 stars. Hotel is close to beach and bars
Like anything it has it's good and bad sides so let's go over them. I like to start with the positives so here they are: The staff are all very friendly and helpful from the receptionists, kitchen and room staff
The location is pretty good, with both beach sides being about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There's plenty of restaurants and stores (supermarkets, souvenir stores, pharmacies etc) nearby

Very close to the main square. The Breakfast has a wide selection of different kinds of food. The rooms are simple but very comfortable. All in all a very good choice to stay at one of the nicest islands in Greece
Good value for money. Spacious rooms. Great location.
He helped us feel at home and served us the best way possible. Also his brother Rafael is super nice and also served us well. Both of them really made our experience at the hotel better
Very polite and professional staff
It is very good and has a great view.

The hotel has good facilities, is clean and tidy, and is suitable for traveling to Rhodes Island
Came to Rhodes for the first time aswell as being my first solo holiday and I couldn't have picked a better hotel. For the price, everything was just fantastic
Breakfast included was a great bonus too. Right next to jonnys pub where we were locals for our stay, a short walk to the beach, directly across from a supermarket and about 20 minutes walk into the old old town
the reception staff are so lovely, and I can’t remember her name I think she may have been called Beth who was student staff who showed us our apartment, she was a breath of fresh air, so welcoming and polite
Location excellent, short walk to both beach and old town. 15 minute walk to port to catch ferry’s. Excellent breakfast, very good Choice, hot and cold buffet
The staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were tidy, the hotel itself was very clean. Was very happy with the location as I felt I was right next to everything I needed for those couple days

Pool area bar very good with adequate menu. So good we booked again as soon as we returned home!
Every day the room was cleaned, towels changed, and we got (every day) one 1/2 bottle of water per person. Breakfast has a large variety of choices and everything was very good
Fully recommended! Well situated between Elli Beach and Rhodos old town. Multiple stores, restaurants, and places where you can have good time
I have only ever used it when making the trip from the UK to the distant Dodecanese, when it's wise to get to Rhodes then break your long day's travel with a recuperative night here before you get the ferry onwards, and the same on the return
close to harbour, local tavernas. Taxi back from old town if needed 7 euros. Can't fault this hotel! Breakfast caters for all dietary needs - continental, cooked, etc. Rooms immaculate and cleaned daily if required
The rooms vary, of course, according to what you pay but are all scrupulously clean, and it's possible, if you're clever, to get a room at the back overlooking the pool and palms without breaking any bank

The staff was always kind and helpful, especially at the reception and pool bar – always smiling and ready to help with anything. The food was tasty and varied, with many options for both breakfast and dinner
We especially enjoyed the fresh fruits, Greek dishes and of course the desserts. We also loved the pool area – lots of sunbeds, a peaceful atmosphere, and a great place to enjoy a frappe and just relax
Very good place with excellent people, view, selection of food and drinks. Rooms nice and clean. Drinks and food tasty, fresh. I love Rodos and this hotel!!!
We had a lovely stay at Rhodos Horizon Blu. The location is perfect – just a few minutes’ walk from the beach and also close to the city center
The hotel has a relaxed and modern vibe, and everything felt clean and well-maintained. Our room was cozy with a balcony and sea view, and it was cleaned every day
Bar is fairly priced and lots of areas to chill. Pool is a decent size, however they're not keen on you resrving your beds. The beds are watched once its open and after a short period

Warm informative welcome from staff who offered us a safety deposit box for €20 and informed us that breakfast is on from 7am till 1030 and that the pool is open from 10am till 6pm
clean and tidy, staff are so friendly cleaner who did our room was so lovely didn't get her name. Food at hotel was lovely lots to chose from. Comfy beds changed daily and clean towels changed daily
This hotel is exactly where you want to be when visiting Rhodes town. We booked two rooms for eleven nights at the blue sky and it was €110 for the room tax per room
Often the hot stuff was just lukewarm but no major drama. Pool area is good and has a good vibe however as everyone else says there's not enough beds for the hotel. Pool beds are comfortable and is extremely relaxing
There's also a coffee shop attached that does decent sandwiches and drinks plus the hotel was popular serving nice food. Even the room service prices were good. Other reviewers saying that this hotel isn't 4 star
It's tucked away as you can see in the photo and doesn't impact upon the hotel at all but just good to know what's in the area. "Nook" behind the hotel does amazing cocktails

Always a nice stay here. Breakfast never excellent, but sufficient. Friendly people, comfy rooms, great location, good value.
Location was surrounded by shops so no excessive noise at night from bars. Breakfast was plentiful if not some strange options (chips/fries?). The room was very comfortable and the AC was good
Good hotel, everything you need. Very convenient location, close to the beach and the old town. Would come back again)
Hotel Lydia is in a good location and has a great breakfast. However, I wish I had known that the lobby and breakfast room are basically without air-conditioning
Booked this last minute for a few nights in Rhodes town 2 days before I went. Was one of the few places available at a reasonable price. Usually wouldnt look at a 2 star but glad I did. Better than a 2 star in the UK
As previously noted the air con was not great in the lobby or breakfast area but this did not affect me as I was only there first thing in the morning or last at night. Would gladly stay here again if back in Rhodes

Dinner bad, they serve food the old for two days, the fish don't clean up, I wonder if they taste the prepared meal prior to serving, the rooms are excellent but those facing the pool are full of moisture not to asmaticare and cardiac patients, the staff very kind
Very nice people working there. Great location right next to the beach with sea view and 15 minutes walk to Rhodes downtown. Something didn’t work out in the original room that we booked, so we got an upgrade
The hotel was nice with a very good breakfast with plenty of options each morning. The staff is really kind and helpful. The wifi was poor quality, video call ws impossible. Either regular browsing was bad experience
I recently stayed at the Ibiscus Hotel in Rhodes with my wife and our two kids, and we were very pleased with our experience. The rooms were cleaned daily, which we really appreciated
The food was varied and delicious, offering something for everyone. The location is perfect, right across the street from the beach, making it very convenient for a family vacation
It was a nice holiday for our family. They were all very kind and good hospitality

The stuff is very friendly and accessible all the time, the service is perfect and the rooms are modern and stylish. The food is very good and you have a lot to choose from. The price is top!
Overall the hotel is fine. The food is edible. Good location but not for people who don’t like ants. Ant infested by the pool. Even in the room on the floor I saw some ants too.
For the AI options: you have several alcohol and alcohol free cocktails (the alcohol cocktails were pre prepared), the ones I tried were good (but not great) especially the Piña colada
Fantastic Helpful Reception Staff, In paticular a lady Called Rania who went up and beyond to help us on a certain matter ! The food Menu was always Varied & delicious. The restaurant staff were Helpful and friendly
Now for the bar: you have good all inclusive options and good menu with world known brands (menu with reasonable prices)
From the AI spirits I highly recommend the ouzo (traditional Greek anise drink) I liked it (have in mind that I am all-year ouzo drinker, so I have a taste for it :)), the Mastiha liquor was nice digestive too, I can't say the same for the AI whiskey and brandy, they did not have any taste

My family members on the other hand, were in the lower floors with a very old room which looked nothing like the newer ones. It was like you were in a completely different hotel, not to mention their door wouldn't close
We were out the whole morning until 3 pm and when we got back, the room of my family members still wasn't cleaned. Overall though, the cleaning was good. The rooms also have a mini fridge with water, coffee and tea
We were only there for two nights. The LEAST they could do is offer us the better looking room for these two nights after they messed the reservation. Making us change rooms for just one night was so unnecessary
Indeed, the room was beautiful and clean, we had towels, bath robes, slippers, batroom kits (like dental or shaving kits) and a nice view (although the old building in front of the hotel totally ruins the view)
The older rooms desperately need renovation. Old showers, ACs, hair dryers, they need to do something about it. The corridors were also very confusing and there should be signs to follow for the elevators
The breakfast was delicious, there was a variety of options. I haven't had better breakfast at a hotel before! The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. The cleaning time takes forever though, beware

Nice hotel well located with plenty of bars & restaurants around it. 2 mins walk from the beach & around 15-20 mins from the old town. Room was good only gripe was the shower cubicle is very small
Only had the breakfast which had plenty of choice & was fine , had a few nightcaps in the bar which was fine. Only used the pool area once but always seemed to have beds available
Just come from another amazing holiday from this wonderful hotel had the best time, location brilliant just a couple of minutes walk to Eli Beach and the old town about 10 minutes
Apart from breakfast we never eat there but those that did the food looked fantastic. One of the best greek hotels I've stayed in worth every penny with sea views
We only had breakfast but it was excellent plenty to choose from. The hotel was very clean including our room
the good: all staff; hotel very clean throughout; breakfast selection and organisation; pool area the average: bathroom (on the small side and little power in the shower); bed (quite hard, although we did manage to sleep ok); general room layout (we had a side sea room which, for some reason contained an extra bed - complete waste of space!) the not so good: the stairs (looking tatty and in need...

Nice hotel, very clean, with good facilities, and modern rooms. Caters for all ages and requirements. Exceptional service from the staff, which contributed to a very pleasant and enjoyable stay for 10 days.
The breakfasts were the same almost every day, but they were good
The good things: lots of storage space: cupboards and bedside tables, drawers etc; the view was good, the pool area was perfect, the breakfast was okay, the air conditioning was good, the balcony was good, the service was delightful
A good hotel with a great location, but a few things disappointed me. Firstly, the shower was really crappy because the curtain didn't reach the ground and water would spill everywhere no matter how careful I was
Great location, surrounded by beaches, everything you need within 50m. Refurbished rooms, nice pool and deck amenities, with lots of space to relax. Service is superb, the staff are very friendly and helpful
Booked 7 days initially, then extended for additional 14 days for business. Great location and service, refurbished rooms and facilities, clean and safe, wonderful staff. Will certainly be returning.

Excellent place to stay in Rhodes. John really goes out of his way to make everything easy and convenient. He picked us up from a spot close to the town center and drove us with his mini golf cart all the way to the door
The place is romantic and has a good and silent location. John picked us up in the middle of the night in his small electric car when we arrived.
Excellent location, excellent and very comfortable room and super nice owners that treat you amazingly!!!
Everything is perfect here! Good rooms, correct room-service, very nice hosts, great Holiday.
The hotel is intentionally small in size and the owner is available to help with questions of what to do around Rhodes Old Town, etc. The breakfast every morning is such a treat in the garden
The hotel has a great mediterranean vibe, quaint, small, far enough from the center to be quiet but also walking distance from major sites

Plus, hotel is around 15 - 20 minute walk away from the main bus station, from which you can travel to almost every part of the island
The hotel has a perfect location — the sea is just a two-minute walk away, with beautiful beaches that were never too crowded
The old town is within walking distance, and there are plenty of great cafés and restaurants nearby. Most importantly, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was always clean and well-kept
Located one street back from the beach (30-50m away) with a plethora of things to do … from fine dining, shopping and bars right through to a couple of strip clubs (though no-one was, in fairness, trying to entice anyone in!)
Staff are amazingly friendly, rooms and all public areas are impeccably clean and the whole atmosphere is superb despite building work taking place nearby which is, understandably, out of their control
Fourth trip back to this hotel and, despite all other visits being great, they have certainly upped their game

Perfect base for exploring Rhodes clean basic rooms breakfast was very good fantastic staff excellent location 10 minute walk to the old town and harbour and less than a minute to the beach had a fab 10 day break
Maybe we were lucky with the room but our 10 days vacation during the highest season was good enough! The position is perfect, next to the beach and the best restaurants and markets!
The cleaning service was good compared to other 3 stars hotel in the city and in the receptionist and maids were all kind and friendly
Great staff and lovely view from the extremely windy balcony. Good location. Shirt walk into town. Only downside was pool didn't open till 10. Room a bit dated but bathroom was modern and room very clean
The design was odd — the shower only had a curtain, which caused the entire bathroom to flood when someone showered. On the positive side, the cleaning staff did a good job and cleaned the rooms thoroughly every day
We had to call reception several times to complain because it was difficult to sleep. If I had known this in advance, I might have chosen a quieter hotel. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options

My parents stayed this week and had an amazing time! The hotel is beautiful, very clean, great location (didn’t need to use the rented car), the breakfast is very impressive and the staff is super friendly! They are planning to come back next year! Thank you for your amazing hospitality!
Great vacation! The hotel is beautiful, majestic, impressive historic building. Rooms are clean, spacious and glamorous! One of the best hotels we have ever been to
Great hotel, beach, swimming pool. Good servis. Very nice and very clean rooms. Adults only.
Comfortable access to a great beach! The restaurant is just amazing. Great Italian food! We ate there 3 days in a row and each night different great dishes. Warm, welcoming and professional staff
Great location, central to anything you need. Staff were fantastic from start to finish of the booking. Helping to arrange flowers for the room and even upgrading to a large room with a sea view

Had a couple issues with the room, which the staff quickly fixed with no further problems x Breakfast served daily, and a mini fridge in the room. The lady who cooked the eggs and pancakes every morning is a superstar! X
Stayed at the Mitsis early April. Hotel is conveniently located, clean, and safe. Do not get a partial sea view room, many of these rooms don’t actually have a partial sea view, you have to look past another balcony
We wouldn't hesitate to book here again, Greece is such a beautiful country and there is so many historical sites worth visiting only a stones throw from the hotel. Thank you for your hospitality! Freya & Joe
The wonderful breakfast selection gave us both a fantastic start to the day. DINNER: The evening meal, buffet style, was a different theme each night - but the quality and flavour remained perfect
LOCATION: The hotel is roughly a 10-15 minute easy walk from the Old Town, 30 seconds from the beach, and it is on a road with plenty of shops and bars if you don't want to venture too far
BREAKFAST: One of the many highlights of our stay was the lovely lady who makes crepes and omelettes at breakfast, she was so friendly and welcoming, it made me feel like I was at home
