Hotels on first line in Rhodes Town

The buffet was fair and always found something to eat. The restaurants by the pool that you would sit and order to your table were absolutely fabulous. The a la carte restaurants were also top notch

Should have written a review then, but only thinking to now as I am trying to rebook to stay again this year. We had the most amazing time at this hotel. The value we got for money was unbelievable

Had some of the nicest sushi of my life there. The cocktails were really high quality and never too much of a queue. Hotel was dated yes but clean

I think they currently are doing big renovations as I have tried to book for this year and unfortunately can’t. I will definitely be trying to book in when they reopen

Everyone greeted you with a smile, were genuinely interested in ensuring our experience was everything we wanted, and more! I would definitely return, just for the warmth and enthusiasm of the staff, everything else was a bonus

We stayed here when we visited Rhodes. It was a beautiful and amazing hotel, very close to Rhode's old town

So glad to have picked this hotel. It was right at the beach where we relaxed and tanned daily. The room was so nice & clean and the staff very helpful

Couldn’t call this a 5 star hotel at all. Be wary of room descriptions… my “sea view” room look at three buildings and faced neither Aegean or Mediterranean Sea

The staff is very attentive, the cleanliness is exemplary, the food is diverse and very good. the restaurant and everything related to the restaurant is impeccable. the pool is a little small for what I expected

Beach was lovely but sunbeds can be expensive we paided €20 euro one day for back of beach beds then €70 euro another day for VIP beds at the front row of a beach club

And lastly the pool in my opinion is too small for the size of hotel and can get super busy and there are only about 20 sun beds and 100s of guests so if you like sitting beside the pool all the time bare this in mind

Our first time in Rhodes and we loved our hotel was clean and well maintained. The rooms were excellent definitely worth paying a little extra for a sea view room. Breakfast was good with lots of choice

We had a cake waiting in our room on one of our birthdays which was a nice touch and the all inclusive fridge in the room was also really welcomed after a hot day at the beach

Hotel is ideally situated for the beach and backs onto new town and is a short walking distance to old town

Food was good, the beach is literally a minute away, lovely long stretch of beach and plenty of sun beds. You can walk all the way around to the port in old town, takes about 20 minutes

Plus side: good breakfast buffet, comfortable beds, decent swimming pool. Minus side: massive building site opposite, operating every day from 8-4, and noisy; no ventilation in bathroom, so very smelly.

My first impression was a comfortable hotel with friendly and professional staff and I want disappointed. The hotel and facilities were clean and comfortable and I was able to fully relax during my stay

The food was prepared to a high standard and the restaurant staff first rate I am already looking forward to returning next year

Pool area bar very good with adequate menu. So good we booked again as soon as we returned home!

The rooms vary, of course, according to what you pay but are all scrupulously clean, and it's possible, if you're clever, to get a room at the back overlooking the pool and palms without breaking any bank

Fully recommended! Well situated between Elli Beach and Rhodos old town. Multiple stores, restaurants, and places where you can have good time

Location is convinenet, not too long way to go anywhere. For longer stay, you would like to have some kind of couch in a room. Pool area is compact but big enough still to take the sun in

I have only ever used it when making the trip from the UK to the distant Dodecanese, when it's wise to get to Rhodes then break your long day's travel with a recuperative night here before you get the ferry onwards, and the same on the return

close to harbour, local tavernas. Taxi back from old town if needed 7 euros. Can't fault this hotel! Breakfast caters for all dietary needs - continental, cooked, etc. Rooms immaculate and cleaned daily if required

The Esperia City Hotel boasts a perfect location, just a short walk from both the beach and Rhodes Old Town

They also have a pool that I am not personally into since the beach is nearby but some people might find it to be a big plus. They clean the rooms regularly

Ask for a room to the right when get to the top of the stairs - then away from the building work across the road. The building work across the road is the reason for 2 stars. Hotel is close to beach and bars

Pool small but no sunbed reservation meant there were always enough beds. Lovely breakfast and seating inside and out. Small issue with the door and request for extra pillows was attended to immediately

Very nice and quiet hotel with a good atmosphere and friendly staff. Nice and tidy rooms with good cleaning and breakfast buffet beyond expectations. Excellent location within walking distance of beaches and sights

The location is pretty good, with both beach sides being about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. There's plenty of restaurants and stores (supermarkets, souvenir stores, pharmacies etc) nearby

Very close to everything, clean rooms, friendly reception, great pool and even a greater bartender! Elias served us pretty much everyday with enthusiasm, always friendly, overall great service

The pool area is nice and safe for kids (not to deep) and there is a bar with a variety of drinks and snacks

I definitely recommend people to stay at this hotel only because of these 2 guys alone, really great people, plus the rest of the staff at the hotel were super nice and helpful, it was a very pleasant stay for me and my friends

Classic hotel, a bit "tired" but cozy and clean. Very nice person working in the evening.

He helped us feel at home and served us the best way possible. Also his brother Rafael is super nice and also served us well. Both of them really made our experience at the hotel better

Bar is fairly priced and lots of areas to chill. Pool is a decent size, however they're not keen on you resrving your beds. The beds are watched once its open and after a short period

Warm informative welcome from staff who offered us a safety deposit box for €20 and informed us that breakfast is on from 7am till 1030 and that the pool is open from 10am till 6pm

Bar food was amazing the buffet breakfast was as with most buffets hit and miss depending on time. But overall we had a great stay here would go again as it’s close to beach and shops

This hotel is exactly where you want to be when visiting Rhodes town. We booked two rooms for eleven nights at the blue sky and it was €110 for the room tax per room

Often the hot stuff was just lukewarm but no major drama. Pool area is good and has a good vibe however as everyone else says there's not enough beds for the hotel. Pool beds are comfortable and is extremely relaxing

Ideal for your drinks and bottled water. Bathroom very spacious and room to a good standard especially for Greece. The real winners are those that have booked the sea view

Location was perfect and very central with everywhere in easy walking distance - 5 minutes to bus station, 10 minutes to restaurants/beach, 15 minutes to old town and 30 minutes to Rhodes Acropolis

It’s located so close by to everything. The casino, beaches, throne of Helios 9D, blue lagoon, aquarium, and old town of Rhodes are all within a 5-15 minute walk. Staff was very friendly and helpful the entire time

Booked this last minute for a few nights in Rhodes town 2 days before I went. Was one of the few places available at a reasonable price. Usually wouldnt look at a 2 star but glad I did. Better than a 2 star in the UK

As previously noted the air con was not great in the lobby or breakfast area but this did not affect me as I was only there first thing in the morning or last at night. Would gladly stay here again if back in Rhodes

Location was surrounded by shops so no excessive noise at night from bars. Breakfast was plentiful if not some strange options (chips/fries?). The room was very comfortable and the AC was good

Relaxed small pool with loungers at the hotel, very nice when had enough of the the beach, sea and wind. Beautiful room with air conditioning and cleaned daily to a good standard. Big bed was really comfortable

The pool within the hotel is like a bigger jakuzi. If there are more than 2 persons, it is considered crowded

My family members on the other hand, were in the lower floors with a very old room which looked nothing like the newer ones. It was like you were in a completely different hotel, not to mention their door wouldn't close

We were out the whole morning until 3 pm and when we got back, the room of my family members still wasn't cleaned. Overall though, the cleaning was good. The rooms also have a mini fridge with water, coffee and tea

We were only there for two nights. The LEAST they could do is offer us the better looking room for these two nights after they messed the reservation. Making us change rooms for just one night was so unnecessary

Indeed, the room was beautiful and clean, we had towels, bath robes, slippers, batroom kits (like dental or shaving kits) and a nice view (although the old building in front of the hotel totally ruins the view)

The older rooms desperately need renovation. Old showers, ACs, hair dryers, they need to do something about it. The corridors were also very confusing and there should be signs to follow for the elevators

The breakfast was delicious, there was a variety of options. I haven't had better breakfast at a hotel before! The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. The cleaning time takes forever though, beware

We had a balcony that overlooked the pool (we didn't experience lots of noise, we could hear some singing from a bar nearby but it didnt disrupt our sleep and with booking a central hotel you can't expect a quiet countryside anyway

Nice hotel well located with plenty of bars & restaurants around it. 2 mins walk from the beach & around 15-20 mins from the old town. Room was good only gripe was the shower cubicle is very small

Only had the breakfast which had plenty of choice & was fine , had a few nightcaps in the bar which was fine. Only used the pool area once but always seemed to have beds available

Apart from breakfast we never eat there but those that did the food looked fantastic. One of the best greek hotels I've stayed in worth every penny with sea views

There is a spacious pool, with sufficient lounge chairs. They offer a small but very nice menu of food you can order, make great cocktails and offer lots of other drinks. The breakfast isn't very interesting but okay

The hotel is very close to the bar/party street, but that isn't noticeable. There are some nice restaurants and supermarkets nearby, but the biggest plus is that within 3 minutes walk you are at the beach

The good things: lots of storage space: cupboards and bedside tables, drawers etc; the view was good, the pool area was perfect, the breakfast was okay, the air conditioning was good, the balcony was good, the service was delightful

The hotel was really clean!!! And there are LOTS of restaurants close by and also the beach so you wont need to worry about returning as a starved pale swan

Close to the beach, the port and the Medieval old city. The room had a kitchenette which was pretty convenient. The stuff was friendly and helpful. However the inernet was slow and the wifi disconnected constantly

I was scared by the reviews but I found a situation better than what I’ve read! We stayed there with a baby of 4 and during the night I never heard a voice and we had a room on the sixth floor side sea view

We stayed in a Privilege room with a balcony, which offers a stunning sea view. It was truly a pleasure to enjoy this setting. One downside is the street of bars located right next to the hotel

Staff are amazingly friendly, rooms and all public areas are impeccably clean and the whole atmosphere is superb despite building work taking place nearby which is, understandably, out of their control

the location is perfect 10 mins walk to the old town and in the beach too. everywhere is very clean … rooms had everything you need. the shower over the spa bath is a little tricky getting in via a stool

We both absolutely loved our stay here, the room was clean, spacious and comfy, we opted for a 'side sea view' and still had a beautiful view of the old windmills and the sunset over the sea each night

LOCATION: The hotel is roughly a 10-15 minute easy walk from the Old Town, 30 seconds from the beach, and it is on a road with plenty of shops and bars if you don't want to venture too far

The wonderful breakfast selection gave us both a fantastic start to the day. DINNER: The evening meal, buffet style, was a different theme each night - but the quality and flavour remained perfect

BREAKFAST: One of the many highlights of our stay was the lovely lady who makes crepes and omelettes at breakfast, she was so friendly and welcoming, it made me feel like I was at home

Location of the hotel is perfect, beach is 5 mins away, so are the port and city centre. There’s a pool in the back, perfect place to chill when it’s too windy at the beach. What I really enjoyed was the gym

What a relaxing stay! First of all my requests were accommodated before I arrived, late check in, late check out and since I have allergies I had hypoallergenic pillows and bedding also the room was sparkly clean every day! The swimming pool small but adequate and quiet as it is at the back of the hotel

The walls were a bit thin as our room was located on a corner close by the stairwell and elevator, so keep that in mind when booking! The pool was also nice, a little small, but it wasn’t crowded at all during our stay so it was perfect

The receptionists Anna and Despina were absolute stars! They had great recommendations when it comes to restaurants and night life all tailored to what you like and they were so accurate on giving directions we never got lost! Highly recommend, your life as a tourist will just be much easier if you choose this place

Hotel is located in perfect place. Quite near of everything but still not too near and noisy. Beaches are only two steps away. Pool is in the other hotel and it is very small. We knew that so it doesnt bother

Even tho we were not hotel customers Nicole from the reception has been of great help calling road support and making sure we would arrive to the airport on time, so we wouldn't lose our flight!! On the northern spot of Rhodes island with a tremendous see view, Aquarium view hotel is a very nice café and restaurant with exciting music nights 3 times per week and a very nice staff always ready to serve you

Stayed here for my honeymoon. Everything was amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly, the views were stunning and the food and drink at the bar were lovely and at a great price. Definitely recommend

Excellent hotel in the heart of the city with relatively close access to the beach. Clean well priced rooms that provide all that is needed to make your stay enjoyable and your rest comfortable.
