Location: 75 km from the airport of Ovda, 2 km from the airport of Eilat.
Total area: 58 000 m2.
Consists of one 3-storey building.
The hotel has 282 rooms.
Beach: public sandy beach, 500 m from the hotel, the third coastline. The Shuttle service is not available. Umbrellas, sunbeds – free of charge. Mattresses, towels – free of charge. The length of the beach 200 m.
A Deposit will be charged at check in (except for guests staying on all inclusive).
On the hotel territory: 2 restaurants, 2 bars, conference room (up to 900 persons), 1 outdoor pool, 3 water slides, SPA, beauty salon, medical services, Babysitting service (chargeable), Laundry, elevators, shops

We were with 3 kids at the end of August, so obviously crowded.
When we got there, the check-in line was long and slow. They did have treats for the kids but some improvement here would be nice; after a 3 hour drive it's hard to wait another hour in the lobby. Our room was also not ready until 4pm.
The pool and slides were great. There were baby pools and lots to do for everyone. Unfortunately the seating area is not great. There was not nearly enough shade and umbrellas. A lot of the seating areas were very very cramped and not pleasant. And the worst part is that so many of the guests were smoking the whole time (it is illegal and there were "no smoking" signs everywhere). Some were obnoxious when I asked to stop. EVEN some of the pool staff members were smoking at the slides right in kids faces!!! (I asked the manager to address the issue, but it didn't help.)
The food was excellent. They had different things each day. And all really good for adults and for kids. However, the dining room is not well planned. It is nearly impossible to navigate a stroller through at all! And the kitchen door is right next to the guest entrance so hot trays of food are also just a small accident away from really hurting a small kid. They need to rethink the layout of that room to allow for families with kids and strollers and high chairs to actually fit.
The kids club was not well maintained and doesn't actually have much for the kids, so that was a disappointment. Although, the entertainment at night was very good.
The room itself was fine. We were in the family suite. The bathrooms were refurbished and nice, but missing shelves in the shower for soaps. Also, the ACs in one of the rooms didn't really work
Overall we had a blast and I think we will go again and give it another shot. But the management needs to enforce no smoking rules, and improve the seating at the pool and in the dining room. We do plan on returning, but if we don't notice these improvements then we wouldn't go back again. For the price, I do expect better.
It was so good we went out of the hotel only once for a couple of hours just to stretch our legs. All the rest of the time we were enjoying the facilities and activities the hotel has to offer.
Highly recommended!
1. They promote that they prepare food in front of you- lie, they only do sausages and "stakes" (actually just burned meat) in front of you, the rest is hidden.
2. They promote exclusive and high level food - lies, they have your average quality food and half of the food provided each meal is remade from leftovers from meal before
3. They promote water park for kids - half lie. There are indeed some installations yet they didn't work while we were here. There was no information about this provided anywhere. Both Fattal and Leonardo-hotels website are were silent about it. When we requested our money back because we based out vacation on this installations, Chen, the Public Relations manager, told us they would not refund us which forced us to stay in the hotel for a 6 days without us wanting to be there.
The only pool that worked had supper duty water, also tap water has bad smell and comes out BLUE.
4. We contacted Fattal support to assist us with the issues, we've been told that they are helping - lie again, support response was (citation) "you booked the room via the website and not by phone, hence there's nothing I can do for you". Important note - we booked from original Fattal website, not third party.
USD2.5k was basically forcefully taken from us. Which is why I'm currently sue them.
There is much more of this but it seems that my point is clear, if you value your nerves and want to have a good vacation - don't come here.
Giving 2 stars only because the guys the work here: bartenders, receptionists and most of them are awesome. Tho it doesn't count managers in. The only manager that was trying to help were Ayelet, kudos to her but she had her hands tied by Chen from PR.
