I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel incredibly welcome. The service was attentive and professional throughout my stay. The design is beautiful, you can tell a lot of thought went into every little detail. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area. While the rooms are on the smaller side, they still making the space both comfortable and functional. Overall, I loved everything about it and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

We asked for high floor. We got 2nd floor (out of 6) (😒). The shower had plastics curtains. The window in the shower had no curtain and the light goes straight into the bedroom and to the eyes. Other than that it wa fine. Good service and good location

This is a boutique hotel. The rooms are small but very comfortable. Breakfast is freshly prepared with eggs cooked to guests taste, and coffee is freshly brewed. At 5 pm happy hour available with nice wines varsity one snack.

If you are looking for a more intimate hotel experience, convenient to the Old City and Mahane Yehuda market as well as to the light rail train, the Bezalel is an excellent choice. The hotel has a commitment to art and design so that it has a distinct style, more urban hip than luxurious. The room we stayed in, while small, was perfectly adequate and quite comfortable. And stylish. The breakfast, as others have noted, was abundant, with two or three egg dishes to choose from as well as multiple salads, pastries, breads, spreads, cheeses, fruits, juices. Everything was very well prepared. There is also a lovely courtyard and bikes for guest use, but mid-January weather did not lend itself to trying either. All of the above would be enough to stay at the Bezalel, and yet the serve was even better. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, from the moment we showed up to our finally getting in a taxi to go to the airport. Everyone, including the man who was polishing the walls of the elevator at 6 in the morning, was cheerful and personable. The people on the front desk were uniformly engaging and, when asked, offering local advice about places to visit. They really complemented our stay at the Bezalel.

We celebrated our anniversary at this amazing boutique hotel and couldn’t have chosen better! The location is ideal—quiet yet just steps from Mahane Yehuda Market and Jaffa Street. The staff are warm, friendly, and always eager to help. Rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated, and both breakfast and happy hour were delicious and high quality. Special thanks to the wonderful manager, Ayala Dekel, who personally welcomed us and created a customized plan with restaurant tips, museum visits, and city tours. Truly outstanding hospitality—we will definitely be back!

We stayed at Bezalel Hotel in Jerusalem over the weekend to celebrate my birthday, and the experience was simply perfect! The hotel is located in the charming Nahalat Shiva neighborhood, within walking distance of the vibrant Mahane Yehuda Market. The artistic design of the hotel is unique and impressive, and the rooms are tastefully decorated, clean, and very comfortable. The hotel staff were kind and attentive. A special mention goes to Mahmoud, the Front Desk Manager, who welcomed us warmly and took care of every detail to ensure our stay was flawless. Breakfast was rich and delicious, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and inviting, making our stay especially enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a romantic, peaceful, and luxurious stay in the heart of Jerusalem!

We loved our stay here. The guest rooms and the public rooms are nicely decorated, but it's the staff that makes this hotel really special. They are warm and welcoming. And they worked well together, which contributes our comfort. Although some may find the breakfast on the pricey side, the quality makes it absolutely worth it in my view. Very yummy! A plentiful array of salads, smoked salmon and marinated herring, fruit, cheeses, yogurt and fresh honey, shakshuka and other hot dishes, plus eggs to order and coffee to order. And pastries and breads. The "ordinary" brewed coffee was excellent, which is pretty unusual for hotel coffee, in my experience.

We were very happy to spend our 30th anniversary in the Bezalel hotel. The whole team of hotel was so friendly (a special thanks to the manager Ayala and the receptionist Noa!). We loved the delicious breakfast (with comb honey) and the generous happy hour. The hotel is well located next to the Mahane Yehuda market and you can go by foot to all the good restaurants and bars. We will surely come back!
